Tyson Says Lindsay Lacks “Focus” to be a Model

In the recently released NYLON Magazine feature with Lindsay Lohan, Lindsay confessed that she’d love to take up modeling, saying:
“I love doing photo shoots… I mean, if I could just sign with IMG and do ad campaigns and model more, I’d do that… because that’s fun for me. That’s not work.”
US Magazine is now reporting that Tyson Beckford, model, actor and current host of Make Me a Supermodel, is now criticizing Lindsay for saying that:
“She has the partying part down right. But I don’t think she’s got the focus. I mean, it requires a lot of focus and a lot of people think they can do it, but they really find that it’s a lot harder.”
Of course, he doesn’t know Lindsay, so he’s just talking from the gossip that incorrectly portrays Lindsay’s life. I think if you’re just starting out as a model and have no name for yourself, it’d be entirely true that it would be hard work. I’m not sure if it would be true for Lindsay.
Though he says “I wish her all the best,” Tyson seemed a bit miffed that Lindsay was dismissing his job as easy. He wants people to understand that his job is a lot of work, and I can understand that. He just shouldn’t have said that about the partying, since that just made his statement rude.

I’m sure she meant that it wasn’t work for her, which it isn’t. She can let go and have fun unlike when she’s paid to act. Although she loves it, acting is work for her. Tyson obviously didn’t understand that context and it’s not shocking, he is a model.
this guy is trying to explain the difference between
business and pleasure,but he can’t or wont
acknowlege the spirit that it takes to succeed in
this kind of business,this goes to show me that this guy is a nobody in this business,and experts like
him can be easily replaced….party on
Note to Tyson: Lindsay’s life is a stage. She’s had more pics taken of her than you will ever have, and the irony that she’s maybe gotten paid for 1/10th of them while supporting herself (and her family) through not only modeling, but several different (key word – successful) avenues, shows that she’s got more bankability than you can stuff in the speedo of your “VH1’s Hotties of the 90’s” fleeting career.
Oh Tyson, you’re just upset that Lindsay can name-drop and get a callback.
“She’s a beautiful girl and obviously knows a lot about fashion,” Ivan Bart, the Senior Vice President of IMG Models told OK! mag Friday. “Providing that she was contractually free, we would take a meeting.”
This Tyson guy may be a nice person
but how many people have ever heard of him?
Lindsay is just saying that she loves modeling.
tyson has one expression in all his shots/ads/layouts,pretty much a one-trick pony,displays the personality of a concrete block in his photos. yeah,he’s a model?! nice out of context jab,beckford,now go a latte with fabio.

what even makes this Tyson guy more hilarious is
that he talks as if Lindsay is just off the street
as if she has just been in Holly Wood for the first
time ever
Lindsay has done countless magazine covers
and photo shoots,watching a few vids of her
modeling for Nylon…”she makes it look easy”
Lindsay’s been around Holly Wood all her life
and quite simply put”she makes it look easy”
what does he mean buy focus?,focus on what?
bieng natural?,making facial expressions?
when your a real person being a model is EASY
it is EASY….E-A-S-Y lindsay makes modeling
look easy…it sure looks easy to me
i know because i”am a walking model (kidding)
math and science are not easy,probably
landing a Commercial Jet like John Travolta
can do is a lot harder….give me a break LOL
