In the episode, it’s war between Betty (America Ferrera) and Kimmie (Lindsay Lohan). And Kimmie is definitely a bi-atch in the episode! She really rubs Betty’s nose in the fact that she was promoted to editor, while Betty is still an assistant. However, Betty rises to the challenge and comes up with a huge idea for a photoshoot with Adriana Lima for some berries, which Kimmie is angry to hear about.

Kimmie definitely takes the “war” seriously, going so far as to sabotage Kimmie’s big break interview. And to steal all the credit for herself. Betty is furious.

Marc and Mandy try to solicit Betty to set up Kimmie to take a big fall after Kimmie starts acting like she’s too good for them. Together with Betty, they plot their own sabotage, but Betty has second thoughts. Kimmie is, however, too suspicious to listen to Betty’s warnings. So, when Kimmie goes too far, insulting her boss (Wilhelmina), she gets herself fired! At which point, Kimmie has a hissy fit and throws berries in a pond:

In this episode, entitled “Ugly Berry,” it’s war between Betty (America Ferrera) and Kimmie (Lindsay Lohan). Marc and Mandy work with Betty to set up Kimmie to take a big fall. Drama which, according to Betty’s Becki Newton, may have confusedly made its way to the tabloids:

“I think it’s hysterical,” she says of the feud between Lohan and Ferrerra. “It’s like right out of a script for Ugly Betty.”

Becki Newton insists everyone on set was in support of Lindsay, and all had a great time working with her. They say the Kimmie storyline will end exactly they way it originally would (so perhaps the storyline was originally over-estimated?).

Amidst all the crazy press coverage of Lindsay Lohan’s shortened stay on Ugly Betty, it can’t be forgotten that Lindsay appeared on the show last night. In the episode, entitled “Granny Pants“, Kimmie (Lindsay Lohan) begs Betty (America Ferrera) to help her get a job at Mode. The episode is entitled “Granny Pants” after an incident between Kimmie and Betty in high school… Kimmie became popular by de-pantsing Betty, who suffered the rest of her high school years because of this.

Christina advises Betty to exact her revenge on Kimmie. Betty feels good about this until her father, Ignacio, reminds Betty how it feels to be alone at Mode. Kimmie is making quite a mess of things on her own when Betty decides to help her out, turning her into a perfect assistant.

Kimmie uses her new role to get her and Betty into a bunch of clubs. Though she initially ditched Betty at the door of one club, she takes her along to others. The whole night appears in Page Six, and gets Kimmie a promotion to help get Mode into the tabloids more often! Kimmie turns right around to being the mean girl again.

Lindsay Lohan was scheduled to appear in a total of five episodes this season (6 overall including last season) for a complete guest arc this season in Ugly Betty. However, sources are now indicating that Lindsay Lohan will not be back for additional episodes, and what’s worse, won’t have her full arc aired! She will still be in tonight’s episode, though, and one more after that.

“They don’t plan to have her back for more episodes,” says a high-level insider. “And they are cutting her out of the episodes they have already shot.”

Another insider claims that Lindsay was not “gelling creatively” with the series, that she was not interesting in creating a dynamic character out of Kimmie. They say that Kimmie ended up being too much like Lindsay, instead of a character of her own. Ugly Betty is a show with “heightened reality,” and they say that Lindsay’s Kimmie didn’t fit in.

According tot he New York Post, who confirm the story, there were a lot of issues on set that led to this decision (this is despite all the good things people were saying before!)

The NY Post insider says that Lindsay was continually late on set, smoked a lot, and made a mess of her dressing room. They say she was obsessed with tabloids (which sounds very false) and that she wouldn’t appear on set unless America Ferrera had shown up as well.

Apparently, in the episode to air tonight, there’s a scene where Lindsay’s Kimmie had to de-pants America’s Betty. And as a fun revenge, America did the same to Lindsay… except Lindsay wasn’t wearing underwear. Lindsay’s friends have stepped up to say this is all crap – that Lindsay was wearing a G-string and the trick was so cruel that Lindsay cried after.

Lindsay’s friends also say the rest of the story sounds false, and that any “entourage” Lindsay had with her consisted of her management, assistant, publicist or girlfriend Samantha Ronson – none of whom got in the way. Instead, Lindsay Lohan’s friends say that America Ferrera was unkind to Lindsay on the set and blame her for forcing Lindsay out of the show out of spite.

Out of all of this, who knows what is true? But I’m sad it’s happened. I thought Lindsay did great on Ugly Betty!

Lindsay Lohan made her second cameo appearance on Ugly Betty with her successful appearance in the season premiere episode, “The Manhattan Project.“. Lindsay Lohan, who was in the Season Finale of Season 2, is scheduled to appear in five episodes of Ugly Betty this season.

I am not sure if Lindsay Lohan appears in the second episode of the season, set to air on October 2nd, but I do have it confirmed that she will return for episode five. This episode, entitled “Granny Pants“, will air on October 23. In it, Kimmie Keegan (Lindsay Lohan) will ask for Betty’s help in finding a new job. There is a flashback involved in the episode, but also some scenes where Betty & Kimmie are working together at Mode!

In the episode, Betty makes a decision to get an apartment on her own, but it’s not quite what she expected. Ignacio, Betty’s father, picks up a new job at a fast food joint – the one where Lindsay Lohan’s character Kimmie works! Kimmi is Ignacio’s boss, but she’s intimidated by Betty and how much better Betty’s life has turned out. There’s a food fight, as we know, but it looks like there could be hope for Betty & Kimmie as friends. Check out the full recap here.

Lindsay had a soon-to-be classic line in the episode that I wanted to share. It’s when Betty (America Ferrera) threatens to hurt Kimmie (Lindsay Lohan) after she insults Ignacio (Tony Plana).

“Well, I’m not a cheeseburger, so I know you’re not gonna eat me.”
