Lindsay Lohan starts using new Twitter account

Lindsay Lohan is finally migrating her Twitter followers over from her Sevinnyne6126 account to her new Lindsaylohan account. Her old account had more than 349,000 followers, while the new account has a little under 50,000. But we know that will change as soon as people realize she has a new account!

Lindsay has had the new account set up for a while now, but randomly started posting to the new one in the last day or so. In fact, Lindsay has been Tweeting up a storm in the last 24 hours!

This is what Lindsay told one follower on Twitter about her new account:

@AndreiaPerryFan I still have @sevinnyne6126 but I’ll be using @Lindsaylohan much more!

Her first Tweet was directed at girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

@samantharonson FLY SAFE… love you

Lindsay also commented on her love of Paris, being in love and her time in Singapore.

I love Paris, and the smell of my favorite place to stay.

Mainly, Lindsay has been asking other celebrities if they are going to attend Paris Fashion Week, and presumably, the launch of Emanuel Ungaro’s new collection, which Lindsay helped design. Among the celebrities she has Tweeted include Miley Cyrus, Sara Silverman, Lily Allen and Samantha Ronson’s sister, fashion designer Charlotte Ronson.

Lindsay also spoke directly to her fans via Twitter — one about an autograph and another about her next album.

Lindsay Lohan Hosts Party at Revolve

Last night Lindsay Lohan hosted the 1-year anniversary party at Revolve Clothing in LA. The store has been made over as a pop-up store dedicated to Lindsay Lohan – featuring Lindsay’s Sevin Nyne tanning products and two brand new styles of 6126 leggings! Sister Ali Lohan was there to help Lindsay celebrate the launch.

Lindsay bypassed the red carpet for her appearance, but was caught on the way out by photographers. Perhaps the news of friend DJ Am’s death made Lindsay not feel like standing on the red carpet. She tweeted:

“i can’t believe this.. i’m in shock. why? why? r.i.p. adam”

“last weekend and this week have definitely left some unforgettable scars”

Lindsay Lohan to Host Party at Revolve

Revolve Clothing has decided to celebrate its one-year anniversary by “launching a pop-up store dedicated to all things Lindsay Lohan.” What does this mean? Specifically, that Revolve will be featuring Lindsay’s Sevin Nyne tanning products, two styles of 6126 leggings designed just for Revolve (sounds like *new* styles!), and will be holding a special party hosted by Lindsay!

Lindsay Lohan will host a private party at Revolve on August 28th from 7-11pm. The pop-up store will remain a la Lohan until September 6th.

Lindsay Lohan in West Hollywood

Lindsay Lohan is all smiles as she is spotted leaving a friend’s house in West Hollywood on Friday on her way to Chateau Marmont. And all smiles she should be, with the news breaking that her very successful tanning mist, Sevin Nyne, will soon be in Australia!

Lindsay made the announcement on Twitter, saying: “SEVINNYNE is coming to Australia!!! I can’t wait to hear your feedback! xo”

Lab Defends Sevin Nyne Authenticity

George Mitchell, president of the lab that helped develop the actor’s Sevin Nyne Tanning Mist, has issued a statement defending Lindsay Lohan and the lawsuit against their company, which alleges the formula was stolen.

“I am sorry to hear about the claims being made against Lorit, LLC regarding the Sevin Nyne product.

I have been involved in creating self-tanning products for over 12 years. When requested to help develop the formula for Sevin Nyne, I did so using my expertise and was not provided with any formulas or trade secrets by Lorit, LLC or anyone involved in or related to the Sevin Nyne product.

As everyone in the self tanning industry is aware, the combination of dihydroxyacetone and erythrulose are commonly used in all self-tanning products. There is nothing proprietary about the combination of those two items. Further, there is nothing proprietary with proprietary with regard to the fragrance used.”

I hope this whole legal mess is cleaned up quickly! I know a lot of people can be tempted to file suits against celebrities simply as a means to make a quick buck.

Lindsay Lohan Sued Over Sevin Nyne

There are news reports out today that Lindsay Lohan is being sued for her spray tanner, Sevin Nyne. Jennifer Sunday has filed a federal lawsuit with the US District Court in Tampa accusing Lindsay Lohan and Sevin Nyne co-creator Lorit Smith of breach of contract, theft of trade secrets, civil conspiracy, intentional interference with contractual relations and deceptive and unfair trade practices.

Jennifer Sunday, a chemist, claims she had a deal with Lorit Simon’s company to develop a tan line, but refused to sell her secret formula of 11 herbs and spices to Lorit & Lindsay. She now claims those ingredients are the basis of Lindsay’s Sevin Nyne product.

“It was initially envisioned [Sunday] would manufacture the product and ship out the spray to Ms. Simon’s company,” plaintiff attorney Marcia Cohen tells E! News. “Now we see Ms. Lohan taking credit for having created Ms. Sunday’s formula and product.”

Lindsay Lohan has not yet released a public statement about the accusations, but she did respond to someone on Twitter saying:

“look-i wouldnt lie about something that i worked on with people for 3 1/2years-it works on every color skin, & works great. xo”

Update: Lindsay Lohan has posted again to her Twitter, slamming Perez Hilton reporting the claim with a negative spin (of course):

“Leave it to @perezhilton to put out FALSE information. No formula was stolen for Sevin Nyne. It’s a woman looking for a payday. That’s it!”

I hope this finally shows Lindsay that Perez is no fan of hers and that his constant praise of her on Twitter is just kissing up!

Lindsay Lohan Arrives to Wet Republic

Lindsay Lohan had an early birthday celebration this weekend, celebrating her upcoming 23rd birthday by holding a Las Vegas pool party at MGM Grand’s Wet Rebpulic.

DJ Steve Aoki was set to spin at the event, not Samantha Ronson, and Lindsay’s latest tweet from the weekend thanks him for being there. Lindsay used Sevin Nyne for her party, since they were sponsoring the event.

Lindsay also let us know that her “REAL birthday” this upcoming weekend will be spent “with the ones i love!”

Lindsay Lohan Leaving Sam’s

After arriving close to 4am that morning, Lindsay Lohan spent the rest of her ‘night’ at Samantha Ronson’s house. Lindsay was photographed today, bright and cheerful, leaving Sam’s house:

Meanwhile, Lindsay tweets that she’s “happy to be here”, back in LA. And she shares the great news that Harper’s Bazaar has named Sevin Nyne a “must have product”.

Lindsay Lohan to Host Party at Studio Valbonne

Lindsay Lohan will continue her UK launch of self-tanner Sevin Nyne with a second party. After the Wednesday party at Crystal, Part II of the launch will take place on Saturday at Studio Valbonne in London.

This elite club can hold up to 600 guests. The party will take place late into the night with “Lindsay and her entourage of special guests.” You can book a table or get on the guest list here.

Lindsay Lohan to Host Party at Crystal

Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to be in London on Wednesday night to host a party at Crystal. As their advertisement says, “We don’t really need to say too much to convince you how good this will be – just make sure you’re listed or have a table booked, dress your best, arrive early and keep your eyes peeled for plenty of VIP’s“.

Lindsay will be hosting a second major party this week (see next post), all as part of the launch to support her self-tanner, Sevin Nyne, in the UK. If you’re in London, try to get a reservation! You can contact the club or event organizer for more details about the guest list and booking a table.
