Though she’s not smiling in these photos, I thought Lindsay looked very glamorous on the red carpet for the event.

While some fashion critics didn’t love her choice, I think she rocked it. US magazine.com asked its readers to comment on her choice and so far most of the comments are very positive, which is cool because even those who don’t love Lindsay said she looked nice.

Lindsay was wearing a short sheer black dress and eye-catching black heels. From the waist down, the dress appeared to be layers of tulle wrapped around her — with the material gathered on her backside.

After a full day of shopping, Lindsay Lohan continued yesterday’s fashion-centric day with a visit to the ‘Fashion’s Night Out‘ event held at Bloomingdales as a part of New York Fashion Week. Mom Dina Lohan was there with Lindsay, but Ali was nowhere in sight.

Lindsay Lohan and little sister Ali Lohan dressed up last night for the celebration of teen.com’s new TV series Haute and Bothered. The series, inspired after reality shows such as Project Runway, follows a dozen new students at the Design Studio at the Manhattan Fashion Institute. While not a reality series, blends the world of fashion with dramatic television in 4-5 minute episodes that started this month.

It looks like Ali Lohan was at the event wearing one of Lindsay’s shirts, though I can’t recall when Lindsay wore it. Can you?
