Lindsay Lohan Passed Over for Movie: “Too Jaded”
August 22, 2009 by Arieanna
According to the Mirror (a very untrustworthy source), Lindsay Lohan was passed over for a movie role in the adaptation of the novel Undiscovered Gyrl by Allison Burnett.
Lindsay was reportedly passed over for the role, which tells the story of a teenage girl blogging about her sexual coming-of-age, because the producers felt her to be “too jaded” for the part. And the author reportedly felt that Lindsay had too much “baggage” for the role:
“(Lohan) is a wonderful actress, but her fame and baggage would only work against her.”
Although it’s harsh to hear, I can understand it. Lindsay is very overt …read more
Lindsay Lohan Confirms “Machete” Role
August 3, 2009 by Arieanna
Lindsay Lohan was seen out doing some shopping on Friday afternoon. She seems to feel more comfortable with her hair color now, as she was seen tweeting: “2 full days of 12hours and I was so upset to hurt my red natural hair that I finally got back. But this movie is worth the dye job . I’m excited to be back on set again!!!” Lindsay also hinted that something was “made official” – perhaps her role in Machete? Her next tweet links to the imdb profile for the movie, so it looks like that movie is a go!!

New Movie Role for Lindsay
July 27, 2009 by Sabrina Baldini
Rumor has it that our girl, Lindsay Lohan may be staring in the upcoming Robert Rodriguez film, Machete.
This would be great news for Lindsay who has recently fallen upon some hard times. Romance and gossip are the hottest items in her career right now and it is time to bring it back to her talent. For those of you who are not familiar with Roberto Rodriguez’s work, he is the mastermind director behind such cult hits as From Dusk Till Dawn and Grindhouse.
The trailer for Machete was shot several years ago as a fake exploitation movie and was shown within …read more
Seth Rogan Happy to Talk to Lohan
March 23, 2009 by Arieanna
Lindsay Lohan was photographed today arriving for another session of her alcoholic rehab program in Glendale, CA.
Meanwhile, after Lindsay Lohan told NYLON magazine that she and Sean Penn have been trying to get Seth Rogen on board for their project, Seth has said that he’s never had a call from anyone that works with Lohan. I think it most likely that Lindsay was speaking on behalf of Sean & perhaps the casting director, who of course would not be working for her.
But would Seth Rogan work with Lindsay? “If it was a work related thing, yeah definitely,” Seth …read more
Warren Beatty wants Lindsay Lohan in Film
February 26, 2009 by Arieanna
Academy Award Winning actor, producer, screenwriter & director Warren Beatty wants Lindsay Lohan to be a part of one of his films. Beatty wants to direct and star in a new movie with Lindsay playing the role of his daughter.
According to the rumors, Beatty wants Lindsay to come live with him (guest house presumably) while he shoots the movie. This provision is to ensure Lindsay makes it to the set on time and ready – and I’m sure it could help with the paparazzi situation! There are no other details, so let’s hope that this turns out to be a …read more
Lindsay Lohan Was Not Replaced In Movie
January 30, 2009 by Arieanna
Amanda Seyfried (Mamma Mia!) has taken over as lead in A Woman of No Importance, a movie that Lindsay was attached to a couple of years ago. Of course, all the gossip sites are saying that Lindsay was replaced. Which is not true (hello, fact check!).
Lindsay Lohan & Amanda Seyfried
Once again, however, the reports are all wrong! We reported in February of 2007 that Lindsay Lohan quit her role in A Woman of No Importance. She was not fired, was not dropped. And this was in 2007, people. Seriously. It doesn’t matter that she quit for health reasons at …read more
Lindsay Lohan to be Snow White?
January 23, 2009 by Arieanna
The Sun is reporting that Lindsay Lohan is headed back to the big screen for the role of Snow White. This is not the most authoritative source, so I don’t know what kind of credence you can attach to this casting rumor, but it would be fantastic (I think) if it were true.
Lindsay Lohan, who got her start in acting on Disney’s The Parent Trap, last worked for Disney for the film Herbie Fully Loaded in 2005. Although this new film may not be a Disney movie, it definitely deals with a classic Disney character.
The new Snow White …read more
