Lindsay Lohan in “Labor Pains” July 19th
July 4, 2009 by Arieanna
Lindsay Lohan’s movie, Labor Pains, will be premiering on ABC Family on July 19th at 8/7c.

In Labor Pains, Lindsay Lohan stars as Thea Clayhill, an assistant at a publishing company who pretends to be pregnant in order to avoid being fired (something she has to avoid, since she’s raising her little sister). With the help of her friend, Lisa (Cheryl Hines), Thea tries to pull off the deception long enough to keep her job secure.
Suddenly, Thea’s life changes for the better. She’s asked to head up a new family division of the company, a huge promotion for her. Though one assistant is suspicious of her, everything else falls into place. She even has a budding romance with her manager - a step above her loser boyfriend from before!
So, the question is, can Thea keep up her deception, or will it blow up in her face?

Producer Thinks Lindsay Will Be “Phenomenal”
May 15, 2009 by Arieanna
Yesterday we shared the great news that Lindsay Lohan had joined the cast of new comedy film The Other Side, which will come out in 2010. The producer of that film, Kent Harper, tells People that they are “excited” about working with Lindsay Lohan:
“She said, ‘I’m going to turn down a lot of other work right now. I really want to get serious.’ She said, ‘I’m committed. I’m not going to be late. I’m really, really excited about doing this and working with these other actors.’ So we’re excited.”
Kent continued, saying that he believes in Lindsay and where she’s at in her life and her commitment to her art.
“She’s going to be phenomenal and I’m not worried whatsoever”
They are not worried about being able to insure Lindsay for the film. It’s very low down on the things that they worry about, and it’s something they will deal with when it’s closer to the time to start shooting the film (in October). He has no fears that it’ll all work out great. So, nice to see Lindsay getting the support here!

Labor PainsOur last news on Lindsay Lohan’s movie Labor Pains had it pegged for a US release date of May 16th. A new look at imdb shows a date of May 23rd. “Labor Pains” Preview - New!
February 12, 2009 by Arieanna
Labor Pains is Lindsay Lohan’s upcoming movie and there’s a brand new trailer. In the teaser trailer and the scene preview, we saw Lindsay Lohan’s character (Thea Clayhill) pretending to be pregnant in order to avoid being fired from her job and losing the financial support for herself and her younger sister Emma. The new Labor Pains preview shows us more into the mind of Thea and what led her to blurt out that she was pregnant - and keep up the lie.

And it just goes over-the-top when Thea, who works at a Publishing House, puts together a fantastic book about pregnancy (she’s great at her job!). She has a fake-father and is on the cover of the new book on being pregnant! The movie looks hilarious!!
Lindsay Lohan co-stars in the romantic comedy Labor Pains with Cherily Hines, Kevin Covais, Janeane Garofalo, Chris Parnell and Luke Kirby. The movie will come out sometime in 2009, in the “not too distant future” according to Parnell in a recent interview with Starpulse.
Chris also had some very kind words to share about working with Lindsay Lohan on this movie:
“I mean, honestly, I know she has, perhaps, not always been on her game in terms of some other movies. She was a pro on this one. For whatever reason she completely … she was there, she was present, she was fun, she did her thing. I had worked with her a few times on SNL so I knew her a little bit. There was never any weird stuff or bad stuff or anything.”

Lindsay Lohan to be Snow White?
January 23, 2009 by Arieanna
The Sun is reporting that Lindsay Lohan is headed back to the big screen for the role of Snow White. This is not the most authoritative source, so I don’t know what kind of credence you can attach to this casting rumor, but it would be fantastic (I think) if it were true.
Lindsay Lohan, who got her start in acting on Disney’s The Parent Trap, last worked for Disney for the film Herbie Fully Loaded in 2005. Although this new film may not be a Disney movie, it definitely deals with a classic Disney character.
The new Snow White movie is based upon ‘The Stepsister Scheme‘ by Jim C. Hines, a book that combines the darker themes behind the fairy tale with a Disney-princess-meets-Charlie’s-Angels angle. This book looks at Cinderella, so I’m not sure how the Snow White angle fits in. Perhaps it’s another Cinderella adaptation, not a Snow White one?
“There is a lot of interest in adapting this book, especially off the back of the huge success of Twilight and Harry Potter,” a movie insider tells The Sun.
According to the news report, Lindsay Lohan is expected to bring a “modern twist” to the tale and role of Snow White. From what I can tell, the book hasn’t yet even been adapted into a screenplay, despite interest and casting rumors.

Lindsay & Sam Together!
January 15, 2009 by Arieanna
Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were spotted going to Irish Foods & Gifts for some grocery shopping, then later on that day at an Italian resaurant in Beverly Hills. The couple looked happy together!

From a couple of pieces of news, we have a statement that Lindsay made to Life & Style magazine saying that she and Samantha Ronson never broke up, they just don’t need to be together every second.
“It’s healthy to miss someone, and if you’re in it for the long run, it’s good to know that.”
Great thoughts Lindsay! So, I’m pretty confident in reporting that Lindsay Lohan was seen on set yesterday for the movie Dare to Love Me, which was supposed to be filming a LONG time ago and is now listed with a 2010 release date. The movie is set in the 1920s with Tango legend Carlos Gardel in a torrid love affair with a prostitute who dies taking a bullet for him before it lodges in his own lung. Where it stays forever, as a reminder of his pain. Lindsay Lohan is credited in the film as La Ritana, the prostitute whom Carlos falls in love with - she’s his muse, but also the property of a powerful drug lord. Read more
