Lindsay Remembers Natasha Richardson
March 19, 2009 by Arieanna
Natasha Richardson, who starred with Lindsay Lohan in her breakout Disney film The Parent Trap, died yesterday after brain injuries that were the result of a ski accident in Montreal on Monday.
Lindsay Lohan was only 12 years old when she worked with Natasha Richardson, who played her mom in the film. Lindsay says:
“She was a wonderful woman and actress and treated me like I was her own. I didn’t see much of her over the years but I will miss her. My heart goes out to her family. This is a tragic loss.”
Tragedy like this always makes me very sad. My condolences to the family and friends now grieving Natasha’s loss.

Is Lindsay Planning to Cover a Britney Spears Song?
March 7, 2009 by Julie Bonner
The latest Lindsay Lohan rumor going around is that she is planning on covering a Britney Spears song.
Some believe she is currently working on her third album and a source says, “Lindsay is on the Britney bandwagon. She is hoping to cover Womanizer or Oops! … I Did It Again.”
Also in a recent interview, Lindsay talks candidly about how she is growing up. She says that since her relationship with Samantha Ronson, she has calmed down quite a bit and isn’t the big party girl she used to be.
“I’ve gone through the phases that I have had to go through, now I am growing up.”
I think that’s great that she feels Samantha has grounded her a little. We all need someone like that in our lives!
In regards to Lindsay covering a Britney song, what are your thoughts on that?

Lindsay Gives Ali Dating Advice
February 7, 2009 by Arieanna
Lindsay Lohan is taking her role as big sister seriously. Lindsay made many mistakes in her life - some big, some small - and she’s trying to pass on her knowledge to younger sister Ali, who is also heading into the turbulent world of Hollywood.
Ali Lohan wants to begin dating, and Lindsay is offering her some sage advice. A source tells In Touch Weekly:
“Ali really looks up to Lindsay and wants to be like her.
Lindsay has even been giving her advice about guys and to be careful and not always believe them. She’s teaching her from the mistakes she’s made.”
I think it’s great that Ali has Lindsay by her side. Lindsay learned things the hard way, as per Dina’s choice, and it was not always an easy life to live.

Lindsay Lohan on Sarah Palin
September 15, 2008 by Arieanna
Lindsay Lohan decided to turn her hand at politics with a well-researched piece about Sarah Palin. I think these feelings are felt by many in the US, and I’m glad that the dialogue is open and people are trying to understand the issues so they can vote appropriately.
In her blog post, Lindsay points out many of Sarah’s conservative beliefs, like that being gay is a sin and gay people need to be “converted”, or her radical agendas to drill for oil in protected land areas. Lindsay looks like she was tipped over the edge on the issues by seeing a press release about Sarah Palin’s church holding a conference to convert gays. As Lindsay points out, women have come a long way in having the choice over our own bodies, so for a woman with political power (and potentially even more in future) to negate that is scary. Lindsay seems to also sniff the desire for celebrity in Sarah Palin.
Lindsay ends with a quote from herself:
“I have faith that this country will be all that it can be with the proper guidance. I really hope that all of you make your decisions based on the facts and what feels right to you in your heart-vote for obama!”
Samantha Ronson clarifies that she did not write this post on Lindsay’s blog (as she was accused of doing after she reposted it), though did help Lindsay prepare it.
Ne-Yo Apologizes to Lindsay Again
August 21, 2008 by Arieanna
Ne-Yo has issued a public apology to Lindsay Lohan. Although Ne-Yo has already made a statement to the press apologizing for doubting Lindsay’s musical abilities, he has done so again.

Ne-Yo worked with Lindsay Lohan on her buzz track, “Bossy“. He thought the track would suck and the album would suck, but Lindsay blew him away. He wanted to apologize to Lindsay for not believing in her.
“[It's a] quality record,” Ne-Yo continued. “One that I didn’t think she was going to be able to pull off. Again, I will admit that. Straight up and down. I had to eat my words. I tried to call her and apologize for the assumption.”

Sam had to skip Birthday Party
August 21, 2008 by Arieanna
Although Lindsay Lohan threw Samantha Ronson a birthday party on the actual day of her birthday, Sam traditionally throws a party with her twin sister Charlotte. This year, unfortunately, Sam wasn’t able to make it to her own party! Why? Paparazzi!
According to PageSix, Lindsay and Sam arrived to the birthday bash at the Bowery Hotel on August 19th, but the paparazzi were already there!
“Charlotte and Sam do this party every year with [power publicist] Amanda Silverman,” said our source. “The photographers must have caught on because they were outside the hotel. Sam and Lindsay were livid and just left to go do their own thing.”
Update: according to Sam herself, the party was in New York and she had no intention of going (she’s sick & saw Charlotte for the party in LA). It was too far to go for one day, and so never left LA. The story has thus been refuted.
Photo below is of Lindsay & Sam trying to leave the Crown club last night in the swarm of paparazzi:
Lindsay Lohan’s Diary Missing Pages
Lindsay Lohan last week lost her diary. First, losing it is a big thing. Having it is another big thing - since it would seem inevitable it would get into the wrong hands. Second, it came back (which is weird). The buzz is, however, that pagers are missing:
it seems that a few pages from the volume were torn out before the item found its way back to the 19-year-old actress (according to New York Daily News columnist Ben Widdicombe, Lohan’s diary was pinched during a night out at Manhattan’s Maritime Hotel). Usually, this is the point at which most young women promise themselves not to be so careless with a journal memorializing personal thoughts about assorted love interests and family matters. Lohan, of course, instead turned to the high-priced legal battalion at Los Angeles’s Lavely & Singer to send out threatening letters to publications warning them not to print anything from the purloined pages.
I cannot attest to the accuracy of these claims, nor to whether or not the legal notices are in fact true legal notices. I have, for a fact, not received one here at Lohan Groupie.
Do you think any of this is true?
