Yesterday it was announced that Lindsay Lohan had been appointed the new Artistic Advisor to the fashion house Ungaro, effective immediately and for the next few years. In a new interview, Lindsay Lohan describes the appointment as “surreal.”
Lindsay says that she’s had a lot of experience in fashion, aside from her own brands, including choosing the outfits she wears in her movies.

Lindsay Lohan has been appointed as Artistic Advisor of the House of Ungaro!
In June, Lindsay Lohan flew to Paris to meet with Ungaro following rumors that she would be hired by the fashion house as their “creative consultant.” Today, a new press release from Emanuel Ungaro confirms Lindsay’s appointment, effective immediately, in the newly-created position of Artistic Advisor.
The release stats that Lindsay has already been collaborating on the Spring/Summer 2010 runway collection which will unveil on October 4th during Paris Fashion Week (so we can likely depend on Lindsay flying to Paris for that!).

Lindsay Lohan told Extra’s Mario Lopez, presumably at the Revolve party Mario attended, that she’s planning on moving away from acting towards producing.
“I’ve been creating a bunch of shows that I’ve written treatments for and that I’m going to be producing — and that’s more interesting to me [than acting].”
Lindsay is referring here to her new production company, Unforgettable Productions, and the projects she has planned there.
Lindsay also shares that she’d love to work with Tina Fey again, saying a guest appearance on 30 Rock would be fantastic.

The New York Daily News, not the most reliable source, is reporting that the editor-in-chief of Elle Magazine UK, Lorraine Candy, is not happy with how Lindsay Lohan was during the shoot for this month’s cover spread. The interview itself does say that it was difficult to pin Lindsay down for the shoot (first agreeing to the shoot, then travel plans changing, then the shoot being cancelled, then delayed, plus Lindsay’s flighty / ADD personality etc), so perhaps this is true.
