Nicholas Prugo has been charged with felony burglary and was being held on $20,000 bail. He was released late last night. Nicholas is set to appear in court on the charges on October 8, 2009. The investigation is ongoing and there are no details about whether or not any stolen property has been recovered.

Dina Lohan told People, “Yes, we have found [him], God is good.”

According to a search of the LASD Inmate Center, Nicholas was also arrested on August 21st, two days before Lindsay’s home was robbed. No details were in the database on that specific arrest. However, the database shows the second arrest was made yesterday, on September 17th.

Police were called to Lindsay’s Hollywood home on Sunday to investigate a burglary. Lindsay discovered the burglary after the fact, police say, though nobody was home at the time of the incident. Lindsay came home at approximately 3am to discover things missing. She reportedly called her father, Michael Lohan, who then called the police at approximately 6:30am.

Michael Lohan tells TMZ that a safe was ripped off a wall in Lindsay’s home and that some watches were taken. Dina confirms the incident, saying also that bags and shoes were missing and that the door was off the hinges with the door handle removed. He is blaming Lindsay’s staff, whom he says failed to turn on Lindsay’s home alarm. It is possible, however, that surveillance video captured the break-in. No arrest has been made yet for the robbery.

“I am not going to put up with individuals violating my family. Lindsay is a charitable, generous person that always gives. This is a personal violation and it has got to stop.”

Lindsay’s publicist, Leslie Sloane, says that “many of (Lohan’s) personal belongings were taken without remorse.” Dina says that Lindsay is “ok, but upset.”

Dina Lohan also says that Lindsay has been planning to move from this Hollywood home, saying that she “left people in charge to pack, as we are moving her to a safer place.”

Dina had to say, about daughter Lindsay:

“She’s a genius. Such a good heart… Lindsay will direct one day. She loves directing.”

I definitely think a lot of good things will come out of Lindsay Lohan’s new production company, including (hopefully) some respect for her talent not just as an actress but as someone talented behind the camera, in producing and directing roles.

Dina didn’t consider Lindsay’s career lull a bad thing. She thinks it’s good for her kids to have a well-balanced life, one that includes more than just work. She says, perhaps referring to Samantha Ronson:

“You know what, I taught my children to love. And if you fall in love, life is about that. Family, it’s not about work. You want goals, you want it to be, but you still want someone to share that with…”

Definitely a healthy perspective on life, don’t you think?

Dina reconfirms that Ali is in a home-schooling program, the very same one that Lindsay was in during her 10th grade and the filming of Mean Girls. Ali began having difficulty at school during the filming of Living Lohan, which is not difficult to believe in. There’s a lot of pressure with being a Lohan!

Dina restates that Lindsay’s not just about clubbing these days. She says Lindsay is “working hard” on her music, her fashion line and everything. Ali has been there to support her, which I have no objections to. I think it’s great that the Lohan girls can be so close. Dina wishes people would just leave their family alone.

“I’m a mom. If I see my daughter a little thin, I say, ‘Eat more McDonalds.’”

Which is apparently what Lindsay’s been doing – eating McDonald’s. But perhaps fatty foods are not the best way to get back Lindsay’s lost muscle mass. Dina continues, admitting that Lindsay’s weight is a topic she monitors closely:

“I told Lindsay I think she’s a little thin. But we go through this every couple of months. My daughter is happy and healthy and that’s all that really matters.”

Go Dina! That’s exactly the right attitude to have. Dina admits that the family is doing its best to avoid negative tabloid attention on this issue, as with others, but I’m glad she’s come out to make a positive statement about it.
