Lindsay & Sam at Twin Dragon on Christmas Day

Lindsay Lohan & girlfriend Samantha Ronson didn’t have a traditional Christmas celebration. Instead, the couple were spotted going to the Twin Dragon for Chinese food for lunch!! As you can see in these two candid videos, Lindsay was dressed quite casually for her Christmas Day meal.

In the second video, the paparazzi managed to get Lindsay to say Merry Christmas when, later in the day, they went to The Drawing Room, a lounge in Hollywood. She said it to get them to leave her alone, but it didn’t work.

Lindsay Lohan Spends Christmas With Sam

For the first time ever, Lindsay Lohan spent her Christmas without her family. Instead, she stayed with girlfriend Samantha Ronson in LA. Lindsay published a very thoughtful post on her MySpace on December 23, talking in rather a melancholy away about family. Lindsay reflects on how the hard things we go through make us stronger in the long run – if we learn from our mistakes.

Her big revelation of the season – that Michael Lohan indeed did father another child!!

“i have gone through a lot in my past, and to be completely honest, i am still going through a lot right now.. my father just let my family and i know, amongst others that he had another child after my little sister Aliana, or maybe he had it before Aliana?? either way, he cheated on my mother and that really sucks… “

Though Lindsay says she doesn’t want to be a “debbie downer” at Christmas, it’s clear she’s taken stock of her life this year. And you know what, let’s applaud that!! Lindsay is correct – the only way to grow as a person (and yes, as an actress too!) is for her to learn from her own mistakes and the mistakes of others. And it sounds like, despite the pain, she’s internalizing a good deal.

Lindsay has looked at others too – at Britney Spears in particular – and has empathized.

“i feel like Britney Spears is an amazing talent, and she has gone through a lot, (just as i have) in the public eye.. which is not necessarily a bad thing.. It teaches young girls and boys that there are certain things in life that you should not let get in the way of your dreams and accomplishments. also that you need to take care of yourself before anyone else, and i mean anyone and everyone else. because at the end of the day, you have to look at yourself in the mirror and see who you really are. stripped of all the distractions in life.”

Lindsay congratulates Britney for being herself and following her dreams. Lindsay highly recommends you listen to ‘Circus‘, Britney’s latest CD. And she wishes everyone a happy holidays and merry Christmas (and I wish you all the same!!). Lindsay closed off her post with much love for her family.

Lindsay Lohan Christmas Shopping

Lindsay Lohan and her girlfriend Samantha Ronson, now feeling much better, were spotted out yesterday doing some last minute Christmas shopping in LA. They went into Barneys of New York, but came out empty handed. Always frustrating when you’re looking for something and can’t find it – whatever gift they were looking for, I hope their shopping was successful eventually!

As the video after the jump shows, Lindsay was a little annoyed with the paparazzi throughout the day. Lindsay had some time on her own for her shopping, before meeting with Sam or her assistants, and she was annoyed the paparazzi were there. As Lindsay noted, she never gets time on her own, so it was quite precious to her.
