Lindsay Lohan was photographed yesterday doing some shopping a the West Hollywood American Apparel store. While in the store, Lindsay tried to stay discreet by grabbing up an orange scarf and tying it around her head. Of course, that just added to her allure

Meanwhile, Lindsay has continued to tweet about her desire to take part in more charity work:

“Follow my close friend @scottlazerson as the two of us work w the Children’s Emergency Fund & do work in Bihar, India.”

“I just heard a 14 year old victim of human trafficking was married off to 45 yr old man as her father could not repay money he had borrowed…

This story of the 14 yr old being sold is 1 of a million. I am going to use my voice to bring attention to this global crisis.”

Lindsay Lohan to Visit India

Lindsay Lohan tweeted this week that she is planning a charity trip to India, among other places. She said: “met with @scottlazerson at UPROAR about doing some traveling and work over seas… india first! i am so thrilled.. time to give back!“.

Scott works for the Interface Foundation – I couldn’t find reference to Uproar anywhere – a foundation that aims to eradicate extreme poverty & hunger, improve education, promote equality and more. Their mission is to “leverage the power of business & celebrity for the benefit of high impact charities.”

This post includes some photos of Lindsay Lohan at a friend’s house last night in Hollywood. The guy with her is Lindsay’s bodyguard.

Lindsay Lohan talks politics

Lindsay Lohan sat down to talk with Access Hollywood about her new 6126 Holiday Collection leggings, and leggings in general, but also about politics. Lindsay has been vocal about wanting Barack Obama for president, but makes slip an un-PC reference to him in the interview above as a “colored President.” However, if you brush that aside, Lindsay has great things to say about getting youth out to vote and about Prop 8. Lindsay says she got “chills” during Obama’s speech.

Lindsay also talks in the interview about Ugly Betty, about women’s cancer research, and about why she loves doing movies (Lindsay say she feels “blessed” to be able to be in movies). The second part of the interview should air soon!

Ali & Dina Lohan at Hallowe’en Pet Costume Party

Ali Lohan went with her mom Dina to the 8th Annual Canine Comdey Halloween Pet Costume Party in New York last night. The event was presented by Pedigree and Animal Fair Magazine and benefits the Humane Society of New York. Ali went dressed as a sexy little cat; Dina was a cat too, but much more conservative.

I just have to say, I feel really sorry for Ali right now. These photos are only going to re-fuel the gossip rags talking about Ali Lohan getting a boob job. But seriously, people forget she’s still a young girl growing up!

Lindsay Lohan blogs while at club

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson went out last night to the Lotus Lounge in Washington. Sam was there to DJ for a charity fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network. While inside, Lindsay Lohan posted a note to her blog about the night and her life.

Lindsay talks of herself as an “outsider”. She describes the scene – being in a club to support someone she cares “VERY MUCH” for, but just to support, not to be seen or be on display. Lindsay describes the scene at the club kind of like being in a “cage” where she sits behind the DJ booth, surround with mirrors for her privacy, typing on the computer.

“This blog isn’t really intended to mean much, it’s just something to let people into my life-kind of a blog to let people know that i am working hard and i go out when samantha is working because she’s pretty great to hear and i love to be around her and her energy as much as possible.”

Lindsay Lohan at Key to the Cure Event

Lindsay Lohan poses on the pink carpet for the Saks Fifth Avenue launch of the 10th annual Key to the Cure charity shopping weekend. The proceeds from the charity weekend benefit EIF’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund. The kick-off party included shopping, live entertainment, tastings and more.

Lindsay is seen in the first photo holding up a shirt designed by Karl Lagerfeld – you can purchase this limited edition shirt for $40 (of the arrows, not of Karl), with $35 going to charity! And this weekend, 2% of all profits from Saks Fifth Avenue will be donated to Key to the Cure.

Lindsay Lohan at “Stand Up For A Cure” Event

Lindsay Lohan & her mom Dina Lohan attended the “Stand Up For A Cure Presents Dave Matthews Band” event held last night in New York at Madison Square Garden. The event was held to benefit lung cancer research.
