‘Bling Ring’ fugitive surrenders to LAPD

The Los Angeles police have arrested a man sought in the so-called “Bling Ring” burglaries of several celebrities including Lindsay Lohan, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Suspect Jonathan Ajar (knicknamed “Johnny Dangerously” by the police) surrendered to police in Hollywood on Wednesday. (Photo of Ajar on left)
Prosecutors have charged Ajar with 10 felony drug and gun counts after searching his home.
Lindsay’s former Hollywood Hills home was burglarized in late August.

Were Lindsay Lohan’s rosary beads among the stolen items?

Lindsay Lohan wears rosary beads in this blast-from-the-past February 2008 file photo that were later stolen from her house and worn by one of the “Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch” suspects, according to TMZ.

Pictures have appeared on TMZ showing alleged suspect Courtney Ames wearing the beaded rosary type necklace which appears to be identical to one that Lohan wore in pictures in 2008.
Lindsay’s home was burglarized during a string of celebrity heists, allegedly by the “Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch” which also stole from celebrities including Paris Hilton, Audrina Patridge and others.

Celebrity burglary suspects charged

The celebrity burglary ring suspected of breaking into Lindsay Lohan’s home as well as other celebrities were charged Wednesday by Los Angeles prosecutors, according to People.
Rachel Lee, 19, Diana Tamayo, 19, Courtney Ames, 18, Alexis Neiers, 18, and Roy Lopez, Jr., 27, were all arrested in connection to the crimes. Nicholas Prugo, 18, was arrested last month and has been formally accused of the Lohan and Audrina Patridge burglaries.

Prosecutors charged Prugo Wednesday with five more felony counts of first-degree burglary for a total of seven; Tamayo with two counts; and Ames, Neiers and Lopez with one count each, according to …read more

Lohan burglary suspects part of sting

Nicholas Prugo, 18, was arrested last month and has been formally accused of the Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge burglaries. Lindsay’s house was robbed in August.
