Lindsay Lohan flew to New York on Friday for a party at AXE Lounge in Southampton. Lindsay stayed at the party until 4am, hanging out at the table of co-owner Mike Heller. A few times during the night, security had to be brought in to stop people from taking Lindsay’s photo with their cell phones.

Lindsay must be friends with the Heller family, since she later posted a photo of cupcakes from “mama & papa Heller”. As the weekend progressed, Lindsay was able to share her enthusiasm for True Blood coming back: “I’m so excited I feel like it’s CHRISTMAS!!!”

I’ve been wondering where Ali Lohan has been the past week or so! In this video from yesterday, Lindsay Lohan and little sister Ali were spotted going for lunch in Beverly Hills, getting their food to go, then heading over to Samantha Ronson’s house. Ali stayed in the car while Lindsay went inside, then friend Patrick drove Ali away while Lindsay was still with Sam.

Later, Lindsay & Sam left separately, with Sam looking like she was heading out of town. Probably some DJ gig. But seriously, the paparazzi won’t stop asking Lindsay about “Samantha’s new girlfriend”, gossip from a while ago, though later they’re asking if Lindsay & Sam are back together. Lindsay ignored it all.

With all of the time that Ali Lohan has been spending with her older sister Lindsay - going to events, to Hawaii, to parties - and the story that Lindsay is bad for Ali, Dina has been getting a lot of criticism for her parenting skills. Dina is fighting back, with a statement to People:

“I am a single mom of four children, and I devote my life to my children.”

Dina reconfirms that Ali is in a home-schooling program, the very same one that Lindsay was in during her 10th grade and the filming of Mean Girls. Ali began having difficulty at school during the filming of Living Lohan, which is not difficult to believe in. There’s a lot of pressure with being a Lohan!

Dina restates that Lindsay’s not just about clubbing these days. She says Lindsay is “working hard” on her music, her fashion line and everything. Ali has been there to support her, which I have no objections to. I think it’s great that the Lohan girls can be so close. Dina wishes people would just leave their family alone.

Another piece of news! Lindsay sold 100,000 units of her Sevin Nyne spray tanner in ONE DAY at Sephora! That’s amazing!

Lindsay Lohan and Ali Lohan tried to keep a low profile as they left Chateau Marmont last night in a chauffer-driven car.

However, when they arrived home later that night, the girls decided to be a little mischievous. The paparazzi were being a little annoying, even taking video over the fence, so the girls fought back. Though we don’t have them fighting on video, the paparazzi show us all the broken eggs on the cars and around where they were filming.

I’ve hesitated to publish this post, but I thought I’d take my normal tactic and just report the news with an alternate perspective. The NY Daily News has up a post asking if Lindsay is a “hazard to sister Ali Lohan’s health.”

Ali Lohan, 15-years-old, who is being home schooled now, has spent her days and nights of late hanging out with Lindsay, taking trips to Hawaii, and going shopping. The article cites “experts” who say that Lindsay’s behavior may be harmful to Ali:

“If you have an older child who is breaking a lot of the rules and engaging in dangerous and risky behavior, this can have a negative impact on the younger child,” said Dr. Eva Ritvo, psychiatrist and vice chair of psychiatry at the University of Miami School of Medicine.

Though this may be true, I’d love to know what in Lindsay’s life of the past year they’re referring to. Because I think Ali can see that Lindsay is a different person now and should be proud of how Lindsay has improved herself. I don’t think that going to clubs with friends or having issues with her weight (which may still be stress, we don’t know) could be seen as Lindsay being irresponsible as a role model for Ali.

The experts fear that Ali may either try to follow in Lindsay’s rebellious footsteps or she may become a “caretaker”, protecting her sister. Although Ali Lohan wants to be an actress and musician, this doesn’t mean she’s doomed to make Lindsay’s mistakes. What do you think? I think it’s great that the sisters have such a close bond! See, I know Ali Lohan’s shirt yesterday belonged to Lindsay! It’s the shirt that Lindsay wore on MTV’s TRL in 2007. Ali appears to even be wearing the same pair of black jeans that Lindsay wore. So, who wore it best?

The only difference, though you can’t see it in the photo above, is that Ali wore her outfit with white pumps instead of black. And perhaps she’s not showing quite as much tummy.

Lindsay Lohan and little sister Ali Lohan dressed up last night for the celebration of teen.com’s new TV series Haute and Bothered. The series, inspired after reality shows such as Project Runway, follows a dozen new students at the Design Studio at the Manhattan Fashion Institute. While not a reality series, blends the world of fashion with dramatic television in 4-5 minute episodes that started this month.

Wearing that sexy one-piece black fringed swimsuit we only just glimpsed at before, Lindsay Lohan was all smiles as she, sister Ali, and her friends went out for some more retail therapy in Maui.

The group was seen shopping at Fendi, with Lindsay leaving with a big bag for her purchases. I wonder if she got another bag? She already bought a Gucci bag this trip (two, perhaps, since the purse seems to match it)! Read more

Lindsay Lohan and little sister Ali were seen out shopping yesterday for new glasses and sunglasses. The sisters spent some time, and money, at a Positive Eye Ons Optometry shop on Melrose Avenue. Lindsay was looking quite thin from the side, with her ribcage clearly on show.
