Larry R, – sorry, but you’re wrong. Nothing he did was legally “slander” or “libel” because the rules for private citizens do not apply to “public figures” in these legal areas. So, while you may want to sue him for possibly bad humor, he broke no laws. The legalities involved here are Federal and cannot be trumped by a lesser court regardless of any state laws.

After reading all the different accounts of what has transpired that night, I must say it does seem a bit too pat, I was really shaken up myself when the news came out. Made a comment a few Posts up about possible setup, Now if Lindsay, did get drunk ( which seems possible) and was Flirting with Tarin’s Boyfriend ( which seems plausible, as her libido goes into ORBIT when she is drunk ) Then perhaps the WHOLE episode was ” Staged ” in revenge as a setup to ‘Get Even’ !!! God these people she has around her are worse than pirhanna fish, which also goes with that other statement, We her loyal fans have all said she needs to get a completely new circle of friends, ( Except possibly Jaz ) and GET WISE to this stuff!!! And Speaking of JAZ WHERE WAS HE?? Probably left for the night thinking Lindsay was OK, at home having what ?? Possibly the equivelent of a ” Slumber Party ” which would explain the lack of pants, and in a drunken crash hurry, she grabbed a pair of pants that were not hers, fit well enough to use, without realizing that the Drugs had been planted on them?? Sounds like a SETUP to me, now that I am calmed down and thinking instead of emoting. They are trying REALLY REALLY hard to get her arrested for something she didn’t do. AND now for the Kicker, in many states, to be charged with DUI, you HAVE to be caught behind the wheel !! Not out of the car and talking to someone else!! and was the motor running, and did her two passengers SAY that lindsay was driving to the police, or did Lindsay admit she was driving to them ?? Not Enough Details. Now the Crazy Part, IF the Arrest was UN FOUNDED, then the SEARCH at the police station CANNOT BE USED AGAINST HER IN A COURT OF LAW, because it stemmed from an unlawfull arrest!! I am not as Familiar with California’s Driving Laws, as I have no occasion to drive there yet, as I am with Tennessee’s but you DO have to be behind the wheel here, with the motor running in some cases, not in others, but defined as BEHIND the WHEEL. Which at the time of her Arrest, she was not, HAHAHA She could get off on a Technicality!! Completly !! They did NOT see her Driving!! They did not officially arrest her for “Drunk and Disorderly Conduct” so they cannot go behind the fact, and change the charges, If the same laws hold there that hold here, She can WALK, free and clear…..Let us hope and Pray. Tres Chic — and Rachel Rule:dave — this is an interesting bit of information — about maybe Lindsay was NOT driving? or, that she was only not SEEN driving? She was doing SO WELL — or so it seemed. And if she was ACTUALLY doing that well, I have to wonder if maybe someone “SLIPPED” her something ?

No — I do NOT want to make excuses — especially if she is still having real problems — she needs help. I just want to know exactly what is behind all this — did Lindsay relapse? Or was she set up?

If this has been another set-up, or another abortion of journalistic “… integrity” (did I have to use that word here?) — I’m going to turn quite a few shades of pure LIVID!

On the other hand, if she is still having problems, she definitely needs to learn the lessons — she is NOT above the law — neither the legal system, nor ultimately the spiritual laws of creation.

Lindsay CLEARLY needs help in going somewhere else and doing something DIFFERENT with her life if it’s going to continue to be this all-out war between her, the media, and society.

I have NEVER seen such a satanic assault on anyone’s life like the one on hers — both from within and without !!! She must be very special to God’s heart — otherwise satan would not be after her so much …

rob schneider is a moron,a complete schmuck,and will do anything for publicity,but this a new low for leno.i really don’t care for his show anymore.anyway,i need to point something out that’s been bugging me.the police did NOT pull over Lindsay in either alleged dui.in dui no.1,she was found at the hospital,no pics,witnesses,or video of her behind the wheel.in dui no.2,the cops found her in a parking lot,OUTSIDE the vehicle(not hers),in an arguement with another individual,and TWO other people inside the car Lindsay was allegedly driving.once again,no video,witnesses,or pics of her behind the wheel.i am NOT defending her drunkedness,just the fact that you are presumed innocent until PROVEN GUILTY BEYOND THE SHADOW OF REASONABLE DOUBT.the police or prosecutor have to prove she was in fact,behind the wheel.just wondering….peace

This is what you can expect when a celebrity is in hard times.
It’s cheap having a laugh when Lindsay is on rock bottom
trying to get a bit popularity on her expense of course.
It’s appalling though, because Lindsay can’t defend herself.
Again; it is inherent on being a celebrity in dfficult times.
Please get better Lindsay.
