People’s report on Lohan’s check out

People.com is confirming that Lindsay Lohan has officially checked out of Cirque Lodge and that any return visits will be for outpatient therapy only.
"She’s finished the program," one source says. "Lindsay is done, but she may come back for outpatient treatment. She over-extended her stay because she wanted to. She could have been out awhile ago, but she chose to stay."
Lohan’s mother, Dina, told PEOPLE Friday: "I’m proud of her. She’s moving ahead with her life. Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal."
Lohan was photographed Friday afternoon with her father Michael, who carried her suitcases, leaving Cirque Lodge. "I will be there in her life as best I can but from here on she’s going to have a lot of decisions to make on her own," Michael told PEOPLE Friday. "Now that she is going out into the world, I can only hope for the best."
People also reports that Lindsay Lohan will return to work on "Dare to Love Me" and has made changes to her lifestyle:
"Lindsay will start her life over," says the source. "She’s gotten rid of the people around her who were bad influences."

This is really good news! I’m glad to see that she has stayed until she believed she was ready and perhaps I was a little to impatient about it all. I wish her the best in the days ahead. I really believe that return to work will be good for her.

You know, with Brittany’s failed attempt at a comeback at the VMA, when you point out to people how that performance contained an homage to the Elvis 1968 comeback special, it seems like everybody makes a lurid joke about Brittany being found dead in the toilet.
My fear was it would be Lindsay found dead one day. I really do hope that the substance abuse is now a closed chapter in her life and she can be happy now.
One word, though, LL: If you do take some time off working to go to college: study scriptwriting so that you can pick better scripts. I might be able to watch a movie where you read the Great Gatsby silently to yourself (especially if your lips move while you read because that is really adorable) but it’s kind of hard telling people that you have talent when you appear in movies that are, frankly, beneath you.

Gee, Dave I take it that you’re not a Britney fan? lol. I’m not either but you really went off on her. I remember when the press call the trio of Paris, Britney, and Lindsay “the bimbo summit” not too long ago. I alway thought why is Lindsay hanging with those people and taking shit off of Paris? In particular Paris…what the hell has she ever done that is creative? As far a the tabloids I treat that like what the intel analysts call “chatter” or “raw data”. You really have to process it some before you can draw any conclusions. But don’t forget that back in the day, i.e. before Cirque Lodge Lindsay would sometimes deliberately start some of this herself. This type of publicity is a two edged sword and she got bit by it on May 26 when the paps turned her into the cops to increase the value of their video. Perhaps this will rebound to her good fortune as this latest rehab and the seeming resolution of this issues with her parents may put her in position to really get back into her work.

Lindsay, it is so great that you completed rehab and are trying to gain a relationship with your Dad. But why did you have to go to two clubs in Salt Lake City the day after you got out. First of all there are numerous accounts if you look hard enough. I saw her at The Hotel Night Club, and I said that I only saw her drinking water. It was not my account that she was at The Hukka Bar before that getting trashed… Also, I never said I was asian, just creative with my name. I am also familiar with what an imp is, and it is closer to a pixie than a fairy. As for if I really live in Utah, why don’t you try a test question of which the answer can’t be found on the internet! “Utah, We Love Thee”- OUT, “Utah, This is the Place, IN… Does that help. Now aside from the petty dumb stuff: Call it rumor all you want. As for pictures; The club is my weekend job and if I had even tried to snap a pic it would have caused me a lot of issues at work. I have supported and defended her for so long, because she was a good kid and is in a hard position, but I am a recovering addict, with 3 years clean, I know how hard it is, and I know that not everyone can find the right path. I just Looked up Utah’s Liquor laws, on Google, It is legal to purchase alcoholic beverages in most places in Utah, if you are over 21, and the place where you are doing the buying is doing the selling, not all resturants sell alcohol, or beer, just like they don’t all do same here in O.R. go to Shoney’s and try to get a wine list !! I dare Ya !! so hopefully this asian girl etc. is making up another rumor. Time will tell.
