  can i ask a question since ths is the only place that seems appropriate…. Lindsay is IrishItalian right? I was wondering… which side of her family is italian (i think it’s dad’s because of the surname Lohan tho i am not sure) and which side is the irish?????

  And…. was Linds’ hair that short when she was young? Or is it just tied at the back?

  For Elizabeth: “Lohan” is a typical Irish surname and definitely not Italian! I can guarantee that because I’m Italian! Either her mother is part Italian or maybe some ancestors of hers were.

  Okay…. Her mother’s surname is Sullivan. Real name is Donata (i think). LL did say tho, that her grandmother is Italian. Dont know which one.

  ok.. Sullivan is irish-american I searched and Lohan is totally italian (i heard that when her family came to u.s they started pronouncing her surname as “lo-wen instead of the real one lo-han, this usually happens to outsiders names) and if you look at her dad he looks Italian

  Look up O’Sullivan and Sullivan, both Definitly Irish, Me Maternal Grandmother was an Epps, Scotch Irish ( mostly Scotch ) Related to the Royal Stuart Line, of the House of Stuart, Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots. and on my fathers side, Robinson, pure line of descent back to Roman times, and some Lord Ship, still to be determined. ( possibly but not proven yet, related to Artur King of the Brits) Hmmnnnn…wonder if I could find Excaliber somewhere….anyway no money in it for me, currently just an unemployed BUM, with a computer, who hopes Lindsay will Get Well Soon, God Bless you Always, Love you, Larry R.

  larry…i am a semi-employed bum with a computer and hopes that Lindsay will get well also.i really liked the Parent Trap with that thourghly entertaining redhead and have since been a huge fan of her movies.i just do not understand her fascination with bottle-blonde hair?! while i will admit that there are certain pictures that she looks really good as a blonde,i prefer the standout auburn red of 2004 and summer 2006,and i don’t mind her light brunette shade,but the blonde has got to go!!! doesn’t she realize that blondes are dime-a-dozen in h’wood and grow on trees?there are only 2 other redheads currently in movies:isla fisher and julianne moore.i don’t see the hoopla over fisher,she was alright in wedding crashers but is kind of bland as a face and personality,not much screen prescence.moore is a political hack and only does “meaningful” roles.whatever.so,there you have it-Lindsay is the ONLY redhead in h’wood with personality,charisma,screen prescence,and depth of character in her roles and she refuses to embrace the hotness of red.please return to your 2004 young Ann-Margret auburn persona and show the doubter/haters that this kitten has a whip!!! get well,Lindsay,one day at a time.peace

  How dumb are you people? THinking that Lohan is an Italian name? It’s totally Irish and her mom’s maiden name was sullivan. sounds irish. she may have a drop of italian blood, but Puh/leese. Lohan an italian name? where are you people from IOWA???
