Michael Lohan responds
Michael Lohan responds to the scathing email that daughter Aliana Lohan sent into 24/Sizzler:
Q: What is the first thing that went through your mind when you heard about Ali’s letter?
A: I said get me on the phone with David Caplan. For Ali to say that I was never there and I’m lying…People who have known us for 25 years know that I have always there for my kids. These lies have got to stop because they are having an effect on my children. We don’t realize in life is that what I do affects my kids.
OK!: Is it a chain reaction?
Michael: Absolutely, it’s a reciprocal effect, it’s like a pebble in a pond. Everyone gets affected by it, but we don’t realize it and I certainly didn’t in my life and I should have. Now you get these things on VH-1 being written by my daughter Ali. Ali was too young to remember any of this. And you know what, reflect back on Lindsay’s soundtrack, "Daughter to Father, Confessions of a Broken Heart," read the words "I wait for the postman to bring me a letter, I wait for the good lord to make me better, I carry the weight of the world on my shoulders, a family in crisis that only gets older." And then she goes on to say, "where are you now daddy I love you, I love you." It’s a story of love and caring about a father.
OK!: You just want your daughters to be happy? In the end that’s what a father wants for their children, to be happy?
Michael: I just wanted to help. You know I just wanted to be there for my kids and make Lindsay a success. She’s blessed and gifted.
OK!: Are you proud of Lindsay?
Michael: Lindsay is my daughter, I love her to death. You know if I could serve the time for her in jail I would myself, if they allowed me to I would. If I could die for my kids I would. I gladly, without a blink of an eye, give my life for my children. And that’s what it’s about, loving my kids.

Everybody in the Lohan family should just SHUT UP. GOD. Can’t you all find a better way of communicating to each other than through reporters? You wanna help Lindsay? Then don’t contribute towards this media frenzy.

Michael Lohan, I have devoted DAYS to this question, it is so complex, with so many different parameters, blind alley’s and possible outcomes, that the conclusion I have currently come to, is that if you EVER want your family to respect you, than first and most importantly ( 1 ) BACK OFF !! You cannot get the girls, or your son to re-accept you in your life, or theirs, when you are pushing them so hard publicly to do so, so what IS your real motive, and what are you REALLY trying to do?? If it is to get your family back together, this will only drive them further away, because you are being seen using this avenue of approach, as opportunistic, with murky undefined alternate agenda’s in the background. To achieve a REAL reconciliation, all correspondence should be directed to Lindsay, through Blair Burke, her attourney, in confidence. Especially as Lindsay has a MEDIA SHARK S&^%$*&@t H%^$#@**D frenzy going on about her right now. And you Know I am right, the Media when approached should be told NO COMMENT, Private Family Matter, and handeled with a little more sophistication, and CLASS. are YOU Hearing me Michael ??? Let me put this another way, ” The FEAR of the LORD is the Beginning of ALL Wisdom ” not Fear as in being terrified, the demons already tremble, but the word ‘FEAR’ in this case is a mis-translation from the ‘Olde’ english, meaning RESPECT. Substitute that word for FEAR, in the current text, and you will get the True Meaning, which you have missed up to this point, and now that you have been told, the next move is up to you. Lindsay Lohan, “I” Love You, Always, GOD Bless You Always, From ME Larry T Robinson OR Tn.

I am always willing to hope for the best — to a fault at times. None of us can say to what extent Mr. Lohan’s life has been changed by a true relationship with God. In ANY CASE, Mr. Lohan is a relatively “young” believer — meaning that he has only begun to learn of Who God Is, and what His Will is. Even “seasoned” believers are not immune to the thorns and barbs of the enemy which drive us to forget our faith and follow our appetites
There has to be a tremendous amount of regret, need of forgiveness, and healing which must come from God ONLY! — NOT from somehow duct-taping the “family” back together and saying, “there — all better”! “God” is not a fix-it tool in the hands of the desperate newly-converted — HIS WILL be done — in His time ! God is not mocked — let us only hope that the “wages” will not have to be paid out in the near future . . .
Romans 6
. . .
17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted.
18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
19 I put this in human terms because you are weak in your natural selves.
Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness.
20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness.
21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death!
22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
