  i’m not cynical,thank you,the man is a headcase,always trying to grab the spotlight.if he cared about his oldest daughter,he would shut that hole in his face,and be a team player in letting her stay low profile like shes been,and not adding fuel to the trashloid fire.everything this guy does is way over the top,covered by stalkerazzis,and just fans the flames of the smearNET shizz machine,end of story.why can’t he just fade into the woodwork,and be a good dad?!huh????

  . . . I see NO reason why someone who has reformed and changed their life should have to go crawl off and hide in some hole just to avoid the fecal pursuit of media harlots . . .

  I believe that Mr. Lohan has CONSIDERABLY more to offer society than do either most of his critics (including those herein) and more especially those of the media who pursue and attempt to foster ridicule and disdain of this man.

  Given the choice of being locked in a room with 10 Michael Lohan’s or 10 paparazzi — well … ?

  …because the man spent too many years wrecking her life and not being there as a father in her impressionable years,and the least he can do as a ‘reformed’ father is stay quietly in the background,especially now,as she is fading slowly off the viewscreen of the unwashed masses and their insatiable need for negative gossip and trashmags/web ‘news’.i just wish that,just once,this ‘reformed’ clown would do something for the good of his family or ‘his flock’ without a bunch of freakin’ cameras all over the place,because they are there for one reason,to get more ‘material’ for the shizzNET,so clowns like that vile,fat slob perezhole,can make little garbage videos,and further slander the good name of my favorite movie star,the hugely talented and incomparable miss Lindsay Lohan.anyway,you all have a great Christmas and don’t drink too much egg nog.love you,Lindsay.love always,a huge fan and friend.peace,love,Merry Christmas

  … so, at least “statistically” he’s doing a pretty good job of staying ” … quietly in the background … ” We only see him being slaughtered by the paps every few weeks or so (as opposed to Lindsay being slaughtered by the paps several times daily).

  So dave, I could not agree with you more, and yet it seems like your “focus” (haha) is in the wrong place. You’ve given the solution in your own words — don’t we ALL wish that, for once, the Lohans could do something ” … WITHOUT A BUNCH OF FREAKIN’ CAMERAS ALL OVER THE PLACE … ”

  Lindsay’s Friend, for once I agree with you totally !! Had it not been Michael Lohan, in the manger, as Joseph, would we even know who it was ?? of course not unless it had been someone equally famous ! And I am willing to bet that his statement about Jesus, was taken out of context, even for an ex-con, he is not all that complicated a man. So in simple words he said what he was thinking !! Of course no one can compare Baby Jesus to one of their own babies, or even adult children, HE, Jesus, was the Son of GOD !! Begotten, not Adopted. So NO COMPARISON IS POSSIBLE, and he responded to their craftily worded question with a complete lack of guile, and they twisted his words for it. SO Obvious or What; DUH !

  Lindsaysfriend…ah,the plot thickens.you see,we’re both biased here,as i see this ‘reformed’ bull in a china shop as a large part of the drama that is Lindsays life,and you side with him for religious reasons.sometimes,i don’t understand your motivations as a fan of hers,as you point out things about the stalkerazzis and the publicity.while i will admit that the incessant stalkerazzi mob is a bit over the top,i do enjoy seeing the photos of her,when i can’t readily see her on the silver screen.Lindsay doesn’t call these clowns,they camp outside her house,they’re everywhere,but that rascally father of hers calls the paps,courts the attention,because at his age,lack of talent or appeal,or anything promotable,thats all he can get,and this guy would sell the ‘lohan life story’ if he could,so sad.dad WANTS to be famous,just like todays generation,everybody wants to be a ’star’,but nobody has any talent,drive,looks,pizzaz,etc,they just want the fame,hence this ‘reality tv’ garbage that i refuse to watch,stupid,vapid idiots making fools of themselves.but,i digress,so i just want to say that i am a huge fan of Lindsay,her work,talents,and her personal life is her business.that’s where i differ from a lot of fans and people who are interested in her for various reasons.i just want to see her get back on track,her career flourish,so i can see her again,on the silver screen,hear that raspy,sexy voice on my cd player,and see that gorgeous face on the cover of a magazine.once she is back,all that personal stuff will fade into the background where it belongs,her business and privacy,and her headcase dad can help by keeping the lohan business where it belongs,in the family,not in the trashloids and smearNET.why does this man ALWAYS tell Lindsays business to the new york daily news and trashmags like in touch??he just keeps feeding the smearNET shizz machine,some dad,please shut up,and tend to your ‘flock’ at the mission.

  Personally, I don’t know what to say about this. Part of me thinks he’s shamelessly trading on his daughter’s fame, but upon reflection, that’s unfair. He probably got asked to play Joseph, for whatever reason. It’s not like he badgered them. I kind of doubt that. As for his comment, it’s the press asking him about Lindsay, rather than him namedropping. If anything, he was wisely dodging the idiotic question.

  So, go on with your bad self, Mike.

  Larry R — thanks for once again re-stating — and even better — this whole scene. I too thought his answer was the best possible, given the question, and moreover the intent of the questioners (to discredit him). I really believe that Michael was simply slaughtered once again by (as dave has put it so well) the “incessant stalkerazzi mob” while trying to simply live out what is now his new life. As promised by Jesus Himself, those who follow him WILL be persecuted, so we are not surprised. Unfortunately, there have been all too many “celebrity christians” who turned out to be not much of either, so I can understand the “healthy skepticism”, if not the outright paparrassment.

  So dave, (”the plot? thickens”) — yes, each of us is biased in our own ways and at different times, as is par for a human being. The variable seems to be the extent to which we drag Michael’s past into the present. True — in the past, he did make some desparate “public” attempts to reach out to Lindsay. I personally think I would have done the same thing in the same situation — what were the alternatives?
  But on what basis do you state that he ” … calls the paps”?

  Yes — I side with and support (and challenge) him IN THE HOPE THAT his religious change and direction are genuine. And I am not really in a position to judge ANYONE’s religious position. I can only hope for — not assume — what ONLY God can know and judge. But we ARE instructed to “leave the past behind” — our own, and more especially that of others. I hope that neither you nor anyone you know (including your ‘demons’) is constantly bringing up your past foreveryone to review. Also — aren’t both Lindsay and Michael “ex-cons”?

  I have admitted — even recently — that perhaps my identity as a “fan” maybe somewhat of a misnomer as I am perhaps much more interested in Lindsay’s personal health, safety and well-being, so that she will be fulfilled in doing WHATEVER she chooses to do. Whether acting or singing, her *fans* will be all the more the beneficiaries of a healthy, happy Lindsay — wouldn’t you agree? So yes — I enjoy seeing *SOME* pictures of Lindsay — especially *GOOD* pictures. As I have said before, *ONE* *GOOD* *PHOTOGRAPHER* could provide us with more than enough *GOOD* pictures of Lindsay. She tends to be more cordial and interactive with fewer, more respectful *PHOTOGRAPHERS* than the slimy mob (of “hey Leeenseeee’s”) that tend to drive her and her beautiful spirit away — do WE REALLY NEED THAT? I’m sure that Lindsay does NOT!

  Lindsay — continuing to pray for you and your entire family this Christmas season.

  Someone once joked that the only way this Christmas diorama could be better was if Lindsay was playing Mary. But isn’t Lindsay really ANOTHER famous Mary from the Bible, in a new form? By that I mean Mary Magdalene. I have no doubt that a 180 degree shift is in her future.

  As for Michael — let’s just say Michael Lohan is an enigmatic figure. Like his daughter, he has a bizarre combination of extreme narcissism and goodwill. But I don’t think he’s as smart or as blessed ( deep down ) as Lindsay and his soul may be in more trouble.

  I was extremely disappointed, for instance, when he showed up to Cirque Lodge in Utah toting a hot young girlfriend. Like what Lindsay really needed at that moment was some competition for her dad’s love.

  First of all, as a supposed Christian, Michael shouldn’t even be having sex before marriage. All right, I’ll confess I have, but when the truth dawned on me I did stop almost immediately. That very strict rule aside, which we must strive for even if we can’t achieve it, there is much more that is wrong with what Michael did.

  He had so little empathy with his daughter that he couldn’t even leave Erin ( the girlfriend ) at home for a while? No, and it’s easy to see why. Erin is only with him because he’s Lindsay Lohan’s dad. So Erin obviously wanted to meet Lindsay, and I’m sure was greeted with a cold and justifiably arrogant attitude. Lindsay’s arrogance, as so often, is her only way to defend herself.

  Then she went back to L.A., and Michael just vanished into thin air, as if his job was done after showing up for a photo op in rehab. This whole thing is baffling. I don’t know what went on in Lindsay’s past but I have a feeling there are many skeletons yet to unearth. Whenever Disney is involved, there usually are.

  Hello Lindsay !! I am visiting this past post, courtesy of our friend Shark Attack, as his comment leaves me an easy ( I admit to being somewhat lazy in this respect ) link to this area, His comment that Your Dad is hotter than you has much of con, in it, and very little of truth, of any kind, but we allow disenting opinions here as does Arieanna, the Blog /Fan site master, to not do so would be to be disconsiderate of said disenters, so as a Rebuttal, I will simply say that I consider YOU to be a Hottie Hot Hot !!! Which places you as hottest hottie on the Planet, now and at any time, as far as I am concerned, see, that is MY opinion of You, and Unlike mr. /ms. Shark attack ( so not ) I can say that because MY interest in photography has lead me to looking at litterally Millions of womens pictures, all over the world, and no one else compares to you in that catagory currently. I consider you to be the most Beautiful Woman I have ever seen, the Loveliest Creature I have ever seen, and I’ve seen plenty. You Go Girl/Woman.
