“Living Lohan” Clips
May 26, 2008 by Arieanna
Living Lohan made its season premiere last night on E! Some of the "highlights" from the episode include… (4 clips included below)
Dina Lohan reading the tabloids every day. She may complain about them constantly, but she devours them nonetheless – she says, so she can call her lawyers:
Ali Lohan signing autographs for some fans – including Ali talking about trying to look and dress like Lindsay:
Dina & Ali arguing with Ali’s record company about them understanding her "voice" instead of making assumptions about who she is as a 14-year old. Ali is trying to choose songs for her album, but she has an argument with the record company about which songs suit her musically and are believable to an audience:
Ali listening to some tracks for her upcoming album. Her favorites are produced by Jeremy Greene.

Sorry, but what’s so special about this show? Really there’s nothing entertaining and if I want drama I would just watch CSI. Reality shows are scripted and the “real” people are just “acting.” It’s a known fact since several reality TV stars comment on their “fake” show after the fact.
Dina is a hypocrite. Notice she always comments that she doesn’t care about the media and that the media twists the facts and so forth, yet she courts the media by doing a show. For someone who despises the media as much as she says she does, she sure has a funny way of showing it.
Bottom line: When you put yourself out in the spotlight like that, people will both love you and ridicule you. Such is life. Dina Lohan apparently can’t understand that concept.
Also, they need to stop dropping Lindsay’s name every second. So annoying. Ali, succeed with your own talents, persistence and hard work. Dropping your sister’s name every second won’t get you far.
Awwww Cody is sooo cute. He’s adorable. Also Nana rocks! She’s the only reason to watch the show.
I hope that lindsay will make appearances in this show!
Jaine…i had always remained neutral on dina over the years, because she is pretty much the person who got Lindsay into showbiz, but i kinda got a little irked when she dragged the ET cameras into the wonderland rehab, when her world famous daughter was obviously at a low point of her personal life,so tacky and unforgivable,so that is why i am boycotting this mess,no offense to ali,but this is clearly dinas shot at ‘fame’,so nothing doing.if ali has real talent and drive, she rise from the ashes of this unholy mess…
one thing you can say about Lindsay, she has drive, talent, charisma, presence, that indefinable ’something’,that no matter what you throw at her,say about her,or do to her,she will rise from the flotsam of the trashloid media jackals, and shine like the beacon of raw talent that she is.like her song says,’let me shine for you…’well,Lindsay darling, you had me at ‘i’m…just a little bossy’.go,Lindsay,go!!!LLove always,a huge fan and friend.peace
Harlan:”are you crazy?!”
Rachel:”no,i’m Rachel.”

Yes, Dave, the whole Wonderland issue is why I can’t stand Dina. The woman loves to be in front of the camera. It’s never been about her children, it’s about her insane need to be in the spotlight.
Basically, Lindsay is everything Dina wishes she was. And Dina trained poor little Ali to follow suit. If that’s mean of me to say, so be it!
I watched the show, but didn’t really like it. It’s not as bad as I thought it would be. It was just pretty much as I expected. They need to quit talking about and showing pictures of Lindsay, though. That just doesn’t work for the show.
Jaine…i don’t normally have anything to do with the trashloid mags, but i was in the dentists office to sign up for my new coverage, and there was a ‘in touch’ mag on the table.as i am totally sick of 24/7 politics and bad news,i picked up the trashmag for the lolz, and what do you know?! a ‘review’ for this dina mess, but i found the title of the review very interesting,’is Lindsay the REAL star of Living Lohan?’HELL TO THE YES,she is,that family would be nothing without this immensely talented, singularly unique, insanely beautiful, and absolutely incomparable superstar, that ‘girl can’t help it’ Lindsay Dee/Morgan Lohan.i love you, bossy lady, stick that leather boot and ‘fur coat’ right back in the collective ugly, jealous mug of the haterz, don’t let the haters stop you from doing your thang…
“did you just say thang?!”
Cady,Mean Girls 2004(so fetch!!!)
i don’t want anyone to think that i’m against ali,on the contrary,i would love for this little cutie to make it on her own, act, sing, dance, whatever floats her boat, but as her own person, not a clone of Lindsay, because she’ll ultimately lose, just always be in the shadows,as Lindsay is a force of nature,a completely natural one woman talent show,a powerhouse of charisma and cinematic appeal rarely seen since those fabulous ladies of old hollywood.i could go on and on,as i am still vividly stunned by her movie characters, music, screen presence, that intangible ’something’ that always leaves me wanting more, the mark of a world class performer.i can’t say enough good things about her talent and attributes,so i’ll just wish miss Lohan the best of health, happiness, and success in career and personal life in 2008,and beyond.LLove always,a huge fan and friend.peace
“hi,i’m the new office girl!”

I agree with you Dave, but Ali seems to be riding on her sister’s coat tails like her stage mother Dina. That’s what bothers me the most. Lindsay is just misused by these people she calls family. Lindsay has worked hard to get to where she is. Sure Dina helped, but Lindsay’s charm, talent and extraordinary presence made her famous.
Another thing that bothers me the most, the general public forgets that Lindsay is an amazing actress. I was watching Bobby the other night and man she’s good. She has such incredible range. I can’t wait for her to get a juicy role and show haters that she is that good.
It seems that media are not the only ones OBSESSED with Lindsay!!! Ali…. YOU NEED TO LIVE YOUR OWN LIFE ON YOUR OWN! Puah..
Jaine, I agree with you, Lindsay needs a really good role right now, to put her back on top with the public, and show the detractors that we know they are full of crap, and we have said so all along. IF this is what She really wants, that is, I am still a little ambivelent about her true desires right now, because although She states this is what She wants to do, She isn’t really doing it, so something is still up, possibly residual depression ? Possible going to College somewhere, and getting a degree ? then back to serious acting ? However the upcoming two movies will tell if She feels like gettng back into the long grinding schedules and hours etc. Meanwhile we have an amazing album ( C.D. ) coming up to enjoy, so here’s hoping ! Besides as I said earlier in a comment, a good really good superhero role that She can fit into as either the Lead, or the female co-lead, would be just what her career needs right now, as the Public, that ever fickle body of movie goer’s is currently interestred in Sci-fi, Action, and Super-Hero flicks.Something good, and not campy, Like the Iron Man superhero, real and believeable (at least as believeable as a super hero can ever be ) to put her in Instant Oscar Contention; would be about the bestest ever. And I still want that Dinner Date, ( Lindsay ) now more than ever !
GOD Bless You Always, Lindsay D Lohan, I Love You Always, Me, Larry T Robinson O.R. Tn.
P.S. I am not really a fan of the name ” Morgan ” due to an Incident, some 600-700 years ago, involving the Magician Merlin, a certain King, and a certain young sorceress named Morgaine LeFay, whom I despise, and ” Morgan ” is an english/anglo saxon contraction of the parent word, Morgaine or Morganna, both have been used as the name of said sorceress. Most in fact of the scoreress’s I have known over the centuries, have been of a bad sort, all the way back to the days of babylon, and before, back to the witch queen of ancient egypt, Nefretiti. Whom I also despise, greatly. Shepaula-netha of Ancient Atlantis, Odethaula of Ancient Lemuria, and so on and so forth, I actually haven’t had much in the way of good expierences with female witches. So sorry about that ‘ Morgan ‘ but I know you as Dee, so please don’t get too upset with me. Larry T. R.
Ali’s only 14 and as a younger child myself, I looked up to my older sister and even still do. I like the show and from the episodes, you can tell how badly Ali wants to make it Hollywood. She evens says she likes the attention…the first episode she’s signing autographs and having her picture taken…pretty cool. It’s good that Ali is starting at such a young age and since Lindsay has gone through the worst, she can help Ali make better choices. Everyone makes mistakes, we’re human…you grow and learn from them.
BTW – I agree, Cody is adorable!
