Living Lohan: Burning Down the House

The second episode of Dina & Ali’s E! reality series, Living Lohan, was on last night. The episode, entitled "Burning Down the House," has Ali & Dina talking with / confronting Jeremy Greene about his interviews. He’ll be a regular on the show, as he’s producing a track for Ali. Also in this episode, while Dina is at a magazine launch, the Lohan kids come home to a house on fire – an electrical issue sparked it.

I watched it and I will not be watching the third episode. If Dina Lohan is trying to show what a good mother she is with this show she is doing a horrible job.
In the first episode, she was criticized for letting Ali look at a porn pic that was allegedly Lindsay.
In this episode, she’ll be criticized for staying at the party she went to when she found our her house had an electrical fire.
It’s like she’s actively trying to get people to have a lower opinion of her.
I don’t get it. But I’m not from Long Island.
I read Michael Lohan’s comments regarding the video and I really must say: this is the first time i got irked by him.
Why does he attack virtually all of Dina’s “camp” – even her bodyguard??? It’s not his business! And he’s not looking for attention – he THINKS he lives the attention. He things that people WANT him. i believe he is living a total lie in false pretense. he thinks he’s sooo good and even prides himself that. To quote the aplomb comment, “As a matter of fact, while I was attending a Christening this weekend in Rockville Center, NY, I got a call that a guy who I had just gotten into rehab had left and was on his way to LaGuardia aiport…. {insert the next paragraph here}”
If he attends other people’s christening, and if he is actually “there” for other people’s CHILDREN, why can’t he be there for his own? Like Lindsay for example. He also comments about Lindsay’s asthma attack. instead of debating whether true or not, he should just fly to LA and go see her child. It’s an asthma attack, Michael, not a publicity stunt or something – if it was my dad who heard about MY asthma attack, he wouldn’t blab about it being true or not, he’s just fly to LA to know that I am okay – which is what a father like michael should do. And I believe that she should stop talking about Erin – whoever this golddigger is. WE DON”T CARE ABOUT HER. wE fans, do not care who michael is dating. it’s not like erin would make a difference in Lindsay’s life.
his last few comments on that blog conclude what he thinks of the Dina-infested “children” she has. his comment about the “mask” is also implying that even her “children” are superficial and fake. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO YOUR CHILD? InSTEAD OF ALLEGEDLY “HELPING” other people, HELP YOUR FAMILY FIRST! And for the record, Mr. Lohan, we really don’t care about you.
i refuse to watch this trainwreck,no offense,ali,but this crapp is exploitive and will not be helpful in your aims to be a serious artist,beit music,acting,whatever.please step away from the kool-aid bowl of ‘(un)reality tv’,and run,girl,run…
i can hear ‘momager’ saying ‘it’s not scripted,we’re just like the hills and laguna beach’,LOLOLOLOL!!!

Really this show is Awful how Actors will work with lindsay with this show on T.V.
ah-hmm, like I said I love this show. its great and its a good family show and they aren’t doing anything wrong. they are doing what is fine for so many other family’s to do and thats: make a show to try to show people the real them. and like I said, they are. so, anyone who isn’t watching living lohan, your just missing out on a hit summer tv show. just stop judgeing and enjoy it for christ sakes! if you dont its your loss. its totally loveable and Im praying they have a 2nd season! this was another good episode and I cannot wait until next sunday.
Tinkerbell…hi,how are ya?i just cannot get any love on that other site,but you always come through for me,thanks.here,we always seem to be on the same page,with the exception of this subject,however,my disagreement is strictly subjective in my distaste for the public battle being waged by the shameless stageparents from hell.ali seems happy in her tv thing,so i’ll keep my opinion strictly on the crazytrain parents.why can’t these two ‘adults’ keep their family business private,instead of screaming to ok trashmag and page6,every five minutes???god,if i had these two as parents,i’d be a crazy drunk running from my family hell-waitaminute,i did have two psycho,super-religious nutcase parents who argued and fought constantly,forcing me to join the service to get out of that hell,i had some crazy drunk years,and i’m still trying to get my head on straight.so,yeah,i feel for Lindsay,and i see the possibility of madness in alis future if these nutcase parents don’t reach some sort of compromise.best of luck,ali.love you,Lindsay.peace

Aww Dina I don’t know what to say…….Why didn’t she rush home upon hearing there could have been a possible fire at home? She didn’t even look shocked. Acting much? Oh the fakery.
Tinkerbell glad you’re enjoying the show. Sorry, I just can’t seem to get into it. Only catch a few glimpses when it’s posted on here. It’s like I’m more interested in seeing Lindsay.
I watched the pilot and the second episode. It will be my last. How could Dina say she didn’t have to rush home. I wouldn’t even have left the children alone in the home without ADULT SUPERVISON. How awful. I didn’t even let the episode finish before I turned off the TV. And I must say, Dina Lohan is an absolute moron. She also said “imagine if the press got this.” Does she not realize the amount of viewers watching? I’ll stick with Lindsay. She seems to have a good head on her shoulders. I feel so bad for the children. I can’t imagine what they go through.
thats okay dave and jaine. I understand you guys dislikeing micheal because I can’t stand him either. but with dina, after watching the show and everything, I think people judge her to quickly. but hey, everyone won’t enjoy it or like her for that matter and she already knew that when she decided to do this. she knew it wouldn’t change everyone’s oppininons. But it changed mine. so, oh well. I love the all the lohan’s accept the dad. he’s the main problem from what I can see. he talks to the press way more than dina does, and even if dina does, at least their asking her, micheal just wants to tell the world all his business. atleast that what it seems like. then, what he ends up saying never helps the situation or clears anything up if thats what he was trying to do in the beggining. he should never speak to the press ever again. he should just shut up and live his life. see, atleast dina, linds and ali are used to dealing with the tabloids and the press. micheal doesn’t know ANYTHING about about it and thats why he doesn’t no what to say and what not to say. he’s just making himself look worse and worse and he’s helping the media make fun of him. he just doesn’t no it. and he won’t listen to linds when she tells him to be quiet. thats why dina rarely says anything anymore because she knows lindsay can’t stand when they talk to the media.
Does ANYONE else except me, understand the enormous pressure that Dina has to live with with Lindsay so famous ? and that Dina, got Lindsay’s career off the ground, by getting her to all those talent agency’s and modeling shows and things, when Lindsay was too little to even have taken a BUS, or taxi to the places they were at ? Does ANYONE realize that She had responsibilities to 4 thats FOUR children, not just Lindsay, so to be a good mom, must encourage ALL the children, in the paths THEY want to take ? how many of YOU have 4 or more children, and how would YOU handle it if one of them got super famous ! Cody by the way is coming along nicely….And How would you handle all of this without the strong other half parental figure in the home, Dina had to be both mother and father, to the children due to absenting parent. I think She has done a very good job, Lindsay is STILL with us, and didn’t die on account of that terrible melt-down in her life from last year. SO don’t judge Dina much at all untill you have actually BEEN in her shoes, with a multi national famous HEAD STRONG Super Star Daughter, that NO ONE can control, who needs to learn ( and is by the by ) Her own self control, to become a fully mature Adult, give Dina Props for accomplishing what She has, and remember that in most states, Lindsay would have been completely beyond her mother’s influence by age 18, ANYWAY ! ( thats 3 count ‘em T H R E E years ago people, almost 4 now. )

i totally agree with you,Larry,and have given dina similar props in my past comments,but i just can’t stand these two airing out the familys dirty laundry in such a gross way,like ok trashmag,e channel,and ET trashazine.why would you talk about personal and sometimes damaging family business/secrets to freakin’ entertaiment venues whose only vested interest is ratings,not truth.they only want drama,period.drama=ratings and advertisement revenue.do you get that,dina and ‘reverend’ mad mike?????????????????peace

I cant believe anyone would give her a best mother award.She’s always wanted to be a star so she used Lindsay to get as close to it as she could.Her poor kids.She’s just using them to make money.Im 64 and I’ve raised 6 kids so I can see right thru her.She’s a lousy mother and I hope they take her off the air…Linda in NM
I just want to say that the Lohan’s have a lovely family. The problem is they spend too much time catering to Ali. She is so spoiled and that is the main reason my friends and I stopped watching the show. She is too much and it is irriatating to watch. Sorry!
