Living Lohan 1.04 “Like Mother, Like Daughter”
June 16, 2008 by Arieanna
The fourth episode of Living Lohan entitled "Like Mother, Like Daughter" aired last night on E! In this episode, Ali fights for a new dog, even after Dina has said no. I guess "Bossy" runs in the family? Ali wins the fight, of course.
From a photoshot to a dog magazine (with all 5 Lohan dogs) to a more formal introduction to Michael Lohan Jr, the episode brings us further into the Lohan family. For someone doing a reality television show, however, Dina does complain a little too much about the media invading her privacy.

hmmm-mm … not something I might want to wish on Ali, perhaps …
Well — let’s hope that “like daughter” will fare somewhat better than “other daughter”
… conspicuously missing — the father, and Lindsay —
I continue to feel the hurt of all of the children NOT to have the freedom or opportunity to develop that unique relationship that ONLY a father can fulfil for each of them in their own way …
Living Lohan is a “busy” work — everyone is “busy” doing this and that — but where are the relationships? This continues to look more like Dina’s personal vendetta to prove that she and the rest of the family are somehow of some worth and notability — WITHOUT LINDSAY, or Michael SR.
” … see — we’re all all right — we’re good — we’re getting along just fine without them, or even in spite of them …”
I still think that there was a vicious falling-out between Lindsay and Dina when Dina’s managerial greed started to become both too much and too obvious — even to Lindsay. The hand-off from Lindsay as a young dependent starlet to an autonomous adult star was NOT a very smooth one! I think Dina got “put down” on a lot of counts — most of them not so good - even enabling her “partying” so that she could try to keep Lindsay dependent on her (didn’t turn out quite so well, did it?)
- and now “Living Lohan” (hah! “LL” — they couldn’t even get away from riding on her for that? !!!) — this all seems to be in reaction to that put-down … more pain than gain — even if somewhat interesting to watch — the longer it goes, the sadder it grows …
So here you have it — Dina’s side of the story — Lohan’s without Lindsay — for whatever that accomplishes. I think that the kids are adorable — each in their own way — but in trying to move them out from under Lindsay’s shadow, Dina is distancing them from the most treasured connection they have — each other … and actually affirming that, for whatever the rest of the Lohan family may be, they have forfeited ANY CLAIM to being connected with who Lindsay is … I’m afraid she’s slowly but steadily poisening the hearts and minds of the other kids to turn away from Lindsay — which will be very sad for all of them. There’s just always this sense that there is something very sinister, highly-disguised going on underneath it all, just a very unsettling feeling that everything is NOT “all all right … ”
God only knows — I think I’ll go talk with Him awhile …
Lindsay, Michael, Ali, Cody — ALWAYS LOVE EACH OTHER — you are the BEST for each other that you will ever have — STAY THAT WAY!
……… k?
In His Love,
ummmm that puppy is so adorable! How could Dina say no!
Yeah, Dina does complain a lot about the media, but it plays a huge part in their lives. That would drive me nuts.
Dina is a horrible mother and this show completely explains why Lindsay had substance abuse issues Nana should raise these kids instead of the god-awful momager
Incidentally, Ali has auditioned for the remake of the movie “Troll” which sounds too weird to be true.
i just wanted to know what kind of dog that was she got? I have been trying to look it up!
