Living Lohan 1.03 “Mean Girls”

June 11, 2008 by Arieanna

This week’s episode of Living Lohan, entitled "Mean Girls", follows some of Ali Lohan’s troubles as she ascends into the Hollywood world of admiration… and hate. Growing up to be like Lindsay comes with a lot of criticism, and Ali gets it hard from her "friends." When the teasing comes to school, Dina ignores Cody, Michael Jr. & Nana’s suggestion to just ignore it an instead pulls Ali from school until the girls are suspended. We see Ali with her vocal coach, and finally using national tv to tell off the mean friends at school.

There was no Michael Lohan commentary for this episode of Living Lohan. Perhaps he’s rethought that decision?

That’s just awful. I feel bad for Ali, but unfortunately, you’re always going to come across people who just don’t like you. It seems like guys get teased, but girls just act out on one another with malicious intent.

    – while the over-all concept of this show irks me a bit (it’s hard to get around some of the contrived set-ups and Dina is just … ‘annoying’ sometimes …) — yet I didn’t mind it quite as much once I watched a while.

Ali is a really neat person and she’s growing up nicely — especially considering the media purgatory that seems to hover over the entire family (and a border-line “momager II?”). I thoroughly enjoyed “getting to know” Ali — and Cody too (he’s a trip — cool kid!), and since I’m more interested in Lindsay as a person than as a celebrity, I really have no frame of reference by which to compare any of them to Lindsay, or anyone else (basically, I just don’t make comparisons between people — period — each one is a child of God — which in a way makes us all brothers and sisters, so in a way, we’re all just family … )

I REALLY enjoyed seeing Lindsay’s house (is that where you grew up Lindsay?) and getting to know Ali and Cody just a little bit — nice to see that they are a lot like any other family — not perfect, but a lotta love there! That’s the BEST kind of family there is!

Ali — I’m afraid all the advice in the world won’t keep all the hurts away — but basically you just need to understand that the people who are trying to hurt you have a lot of hurts themselves — you just kind of have to give them LOTS of room to do their thing (i.e. stay away from them, avoid, ignore, etc.) — and NEVER take it personally — it’s THEIR loss — NOT YOURS,

Ali, just smile and say, “Gosh — I’m so sorry — I wish there was some way I could help you feel better about this … ” … ;-) … they’ll probably come back with something lame, like “there is — drop dead” — but then, that’s to be expected from those types, right?

Lindsay — you are SO fortunate to have such NEAT sibs!! — you guys ALWAYS hang together — you’re the best thing going for each other — I love how you all love each other — stay true — you’ve been through a lot together — never let each other down — y’hear?

Love you all, as always, in His Love, Who Loves you more than anyone else EVER can!!

    Your Affectionate Fan

(fan … ? hmmm … I think maybe it goes a bit deeper than that, guys …)

Anyway, all my prayers for ALL of you (yes, you too, Dina — He Loves you too !!).

Lindsay — Bless YOU! (and you don’t even have to sneeze! ;-)

.. I can hardly wait to see what’s next …

Loving the show! Poor Ali though..it’s gotta be hard being Lindsay’s little sister. Kids at school can be so cruel, but Ali handled it well. I was glad to see the mean girls got suspended!

It’s gotta be hard for Ali though, to make friends at school. You really can’t tell if they’re actually being a real friend or just want to be your friend bc she’s famous. Well Karma’s a b*tch and when Ali makes it huge, those girls will regret it! :)

Can’t wait for the next episode!

  5. Alicia says:

Wow, there are actually people…err… kids who like this show. Good for you! It certainly is exciting stuff. Here is a show I would watch: Put every Lohan on a leaky boat and send it out to shark infested waters. Now you have my money.

  6. lindsaysfriend says:

    Alicia,

    – looks like all we have now is your hater remarks and attitude — I think you may be in the wrong site? try X17 — you’ll find plenty of ‘good’ company there!

… and I don’t think anyone here is interested in your money either … but ‘thanks’ for the ‘offer’

(… actually — I’m praying for you, Alicia — may you find all the love you need from The One Who Loves you too! — just as mich as He Loves Lindsay, and Ali, and Dina, and Cody, and Michaels — Sr. & Jr. — and Arieanna, and dave, and Larry R — yep — He Loves you too, Alicia — God bless you, honey — find The Love you need in The One Who needs you to find Him …

  7. lindsaysfriend says:

    (…. sorry — typo — “mich” = “much”)

  8. Larry R says:

Alicia, if ( I*F* ) that were to ever happen, ” I ” would alter time and space itself, to see to it that that situation NEVER came about, regardless of whatever consequences might happen to YOU personally as a result. period.
GOD Bless You Always, Lindsay D Lohan, I Love You Always, me, Larry T. Robinson O.R. Tn.

You talk a lot about love in God, but it seems to me you are breaking the 1st commandment.

    Fan= fanatic: noun
    1. a person with an extreme and uncritical enthusiasm or zeal, as in religion or politics.
Fanatic and zealot both suggest excessive or overweening devotion to a cause or belief. Fanatic further implies unbalanced or obsessive behavior

AND you said “Your Affectionate Fan

(fan … ? hmmm … I think maybe it goes a bit deeper than that, guys …)”

    tsk tssssssk lyndsays friend.

I realize that I am at a website about you lohan fans in the first place and I don’t mean to crap on you guys… to each their own you know.
I just wanted to see if there were any actual fans of these freakin weird people… it’s ridiculous. All 2 of you are ridiculous. LOL!

That LITTLE GIRL Aliana needs to be kept out of the spot light or she’s going to end up anorexic, oh wait it kinda looks like she already is, and in rehab quicker than you can say rehab.

That’s one talentless sad family. ok ok, except for the little boy, he’s an innocent bi standard.

  10. lindsaysfriend says:

omg (”oh my g__” … what (Who?”) — glad to see you taking an interest in this — THE BEST EVER — Lindsay Lohan fan site !!!

First off — I really do agree with you about Aliana — I am very much afraid for the difficulties she will have to sort through in entering (being jettisoned by her momager — again!!?) into public view and celebrity life.

I also quite agree with you — I have said so myself on this site several times — the term “fan” as used in my sign-off IS SOMEWHAT A MISNOMER for me. In fact, as “fans” go, I would likely be a very poor “fan” for anyone, as I really do NOT worship ANY human being — not even Lindsay. However, I believe Lindsay is intelligent enough to recognize that it is possible for someone to love her for who she is as a real person without — perhaps more especially without — “worshipping” her image as a celebrity. If Lindsay wants the worship of her fans — she has plenty of that. But if she wants someone who just loves her for who she is — no matter what, well, she has that too, now doesn’t she?

So I have also said, many times, that I consider myself to be here as a friend for Lindsay more than a fan. I’m afraid she already has enough fans — perhaps a few more than she really needs (considering how fickle SOME fans can be — who needs fickle?). If you read some of the previous posts I believe that you will see that, while I intend to be SUPPORTIVE of Lindsay, I am FAR from uncritical — especially where it appears that questionable choices have been made.

However, when it comes to “extreme and uncritical enthusiasm or zeal” — I can assure you that is EXACTLY my position when it comes to The Love of GOD for Lindsay — and you — and everyone, for Which He sent His Son Jesus to be The Sacrifice for our disobedience (a.k.a. sin) so that He — A Perfect God — could have us — imperfect people — live in a relationship of Love with Him.

Me — a fanatic about God’s Love? You can bet your eternity on it …

… in fact, one way or the other, you probably already have, right?

So, as an “Affectionate Fan”, while I DO appreciate and enjoy Lindsay’s talent and work as an actress and singer, the emphasis is 99.9+ percent on “Affectionate” — in terms of uncritical love of one human being for another, The Way He Told us that we should.

Obviously, I regard friendship as going significantly deeper than any kind of “fan-ship” — hence my comment above.

And I think that if Lindsay has ever read these posts, she also knows that …

    … don’t you, Lindsay?

Hey boo’ful — congratulations on the great work and keeping busy — but don’t forget to take a little time out to talk with Eternity! ;-)

As always, in HIS Love — Who loves you MORE than ANYONE ever can!,

    Your Affectionate Fan

Lindsay is rockin again…can’t wait to see her new comedy she’s working on!

I think the show is a good stepping stone for Ali, especially to get out from under Lindsay’s shadow. Anyone see the latest episode? What’s Ali’s new puppy name?

  12. lindsaysfriend says:

    – “omg”

    btw — what’s a “bi standard”

(as in, ” … except for the little boy, he’s an innocent bi standard.”)

    – just curious …

  13. =] Your mom. says:

Okay first off, I think the show is amazing. It gives the Lohan family some time to express they’re thoughts, and feelings. Living Lohan is a great way to show people that the Lohan family doesn’t just come off as people “Think” they do. The show lets people see what goes on in the Lohan family. I think that Ali Lohan is doing a great job persuing her dreams, I really think she looks alot like her big sister Lindsay Lohan. She has talent, she’s pretty, and she can sing beautifully.

And to all of you who think this show “Living Lohan” is ALL about Lindsay Lohan, than grow up. Nobody promised you that Lindsay Lohan was going to be in her family’s show. I honestly think that Lindsay is out there persuing “Her” dreams right now. If she wants to be on the “Living Lohan” show, then she will. And if she don’t, she don’t. Get over it. It’s they’re dreams obviously, not yours. And also, it’s they’re dreams as well.

    That’s my opinion =] =] (:
