Lindsay’s Maserati: Not Hers?

There’s a reason I don’t post a lot of gossip here – it’s almost never true. Now, I’m not saying this latest gossip is true either, but I just want to point out how everything spins to contradict previous news. Last week there were all these obviously fabricated stories about how Samantha Ronson was angry with Lindsay for overspending, including the purchase of this $100,000 Maserati:

Lindsay’s rep denied any issues, saying Lindsay has her own money.

And now, the news is reporting that Lindsay did NOT buy the Maserati. They say the Maserati belongs to Dennis DeSantis, who everyone is now reporting is a porn producer. A little digging though, and I couldn’t find any proof that DeSantis was anything more than a regular music producer.

So, here’s the rundown:

• Lindsay may or may not own the Maserati
• The Maserati may or may not belong to Dennis DeSantis
• Dennis DeSantis may or may not be a porn producer
• There’s no obvious connection as to why DeSantis, or anyone, would loan or give Lindsay the car

So, am I missing something? Or are your sleuthing skills superior to my own?
