Lindsay’s Grandmother Misses Her

Lindsay Lohan’s grandmother, on her fathers side, misses her. In a statement to People last week, Marilyn Lohan said that Lindsay’s family would love to stand by her in her distress after the break-up with Samantha Ronson. However, it seems that Michael Lohan is not the only Lohan that Lindsay is distant from – Marilyn says she hasn’t seen Lindsay in over a year and is “heartbroken” as a result.

I’m sure it would be difficult to see her grandmother if Lindsay is on the outs with her father. I’m sure Marilyn doesn’t like it, but Lindsay does need the support from her family… in a way that she can handle it.

Marilyn is not sad about Lindsay breaking up with Samantha, no more than Michael was. She believes Lindsay shouldn’t be with Sam. Marilyn goes on to blame the Hollywood lifestyle for Lindsay’s issues:

“What happened is that it was too much too fast. And she was on her own too early. She was too young. And they get into that party scene. It’s very hard for them.”

Marilyn leaves off with saying encouraging things about Lindsay’s career and her conviction that Lindsay will “come back”. She ends with:

“I love her, call me, I’m here for her, and anything I can do, please get in touch.”
