Lindsay Lohan celebrates her 21st birthday this year. And, despite the fact that her vodka sponsor pulled out, and that she’s in rehab, Lindsay Lohan still plans to hold her birthday bash in Las Vegas:

don´t hope that this is the end of rehab
i read a story on MSNBC that the mike heller person who claims that he is Lindsays lawyer is in fact NOT her lawyer but just some entertainment attorney who set up a b’day bash with pure and other sponsors and got them to offer her an undisclosed amount of money to attend.now let me ask you’ll a question:if you are a 20 year old party animal and some slick shyster lawyer comes along and says that he has a deal where a vegas club will PAY you to attend your own 21st b’day drunkfest,all expenses paid,in one of the hottest clubs in the City of Sin,would you take him up on his offer? heLL yes you would,me too!!!!!!! that said,now we have a problem…it’s a few weeks later,possible felony coke possession charge pending,DUI charge pending,possible leaving the scene charge,multiple lawsuits pending also involving vehicles,what do you do?i say run from the relapse,Lindsay,run!!!! DO NOT GO TO VEGAS AND RUIN WHAT CREDIBILITY YOU HAVE LEFT OR HAVE REBUILT SINCE YOU SOUGHT HELP. have a nice b’day get-together with your family.also think about this:if shirley maclaine agreed to hold up her movie to ensure your being in it and you run off and get blitzed in v-town,how does that look to her as the PRODUCER of ‘poor things’ and all the other producers,directors,and MONEY men in h’wood?yes,i know you are between a rock and a hard place,but a party lasts only a few hours and your career is the rest of your life.do the right thing,young lady.peace
Hello Lindsay, If needed perhaps a ” Doctors Care ” release form could serve to get you out of the contractual obligation to show up at that party, if such a contract has been signed, and you don’t want to go; Otherwise how about asking US your best supporters to go along with you, Because YOU DON’T have to GO ALONE!!! and give us the authority to keep you from crashing again, like saying NO forcefully if you get tempted to drink again, or drag you away from the Drink Table\waiters when and if the Time Comes ??? She is in rehab trying to get her life back on track And I don’t think that it’s such a good idea for her to be partying so soon anyway
she wants to go to that party more than anything- she saving face by going to rehab and she cant wait to get out so she can drink and use. i have said it a hundred times before to all of you- lindsay is not ready to stop using yet
I think she wants to go to the ” Party” just to prove to herself, she can handle the life style, without getting dragged in again, BUT this isn’t really possible, as an Addict to Alcoholic Beverages, her will power is not that strong, no matter how strong she thinks she is. Lindsay I say again you Don’t Have to Go ALONE, ( translate you shouldn’t go AT all ) but if you do, this time TAKE SOMEONE who is Trust–Worthy ( note the emphasis on the double spelling of the word) Like one of US your Loyal Fans, to see to it that you keep out of Trouble. aimee, whatever u are saying… i think she wants to get better now. if u compare this to her old rehab stint, this one is far more acceptable. She doesnt even go out anymore! and remember, back in her first rehab stint she had to shoot I know who Killed Me so she always went out – she made the movie an excuse to go out. That was THEN. THis is NOW. NOW she also has a movie to shoot but she is not going out (except for the gym which is an acceptable excuse because I heard: people who go to promises gain weight). she isnt making POOR THINGS an excuse. Remember, she partied when she was in rehab THEN.
Just comparing. I think this one is a big improvement. It’s a great big step.
The poster is beautiful but I just know already that it’s gonna be trouble. Drinking, gambling.. drugging! I mean, she can live her birthday extrordinairy, but it’s just that she does that on a daily basis, so it’s not even so special for her, and that’s sad. I mean, your birthday should be the best day of the year! But if you do those things on other days already, there’s no great fun anymore! And if you wanna drink on your b-day, it’s fine! But than don’t do it every other day of your life too.
elizabeth- i myself am an addict. i have been clean for a while now, but I know how addicts work. they are all the same. she went into rehab because her loved ones begged her to go -not because she truly wanted to. unless you yourself are an addict you cannot understand the power that these substances have over you. and it is not only the substances, but there are much deeper reasons which make you use, and neither of these things can be fixed after a mere thirty or sixty days in rehab. you have to want to stop using from deep within you- to get to that point you have to have hit a bottom- you have to basically lose everything you have- your money, your family, your friends and sometimes that isnt even enough. lindsay still refuses to go to group session, wants her own individual room,- she wants to be special- and as a moviestar she is special- but as an addict she is not- she has to be willing to try and do everything the people at the clinic tell her to do and be willing to accept feedback and admit to herself that she is hurting herself and others and it doesnt seem that she is making the best effort. lindsay has to want to stop using for herself and if she does not truly want to stop using then she wont- she will try and hide it and put up a good show so people will get off her back about it. the fact is that promises is not the place for someone like her to go. she needs someone who wont accept her bullshit and manipulations because that is what addicts do- its hard to face yourself and even harder to have other people for example in group therapy, call you on your bullshit. if she is going to get better she has to change her entire lifestyle and completely change the way she thinks. i dont know how she expects to do this while she still plans on going to her birthday party and probably continue to go to clubs and hang out with that same group of friends. the fact is that she continually makes excuses for her behavior and the substances she uses and until she acknowledges what she is (an addict) and takes accountability for these things, SHE WILL NEVER CHANGE
aimee…i agree with your whole post on addiction and behaviors associated with addiction but i want to say one thing in Lindsays defense regarding group sessions. i went to AA meetings for 3 years after my DUI and asap classes and i never once thought that all of my dirty laundry confessions would leave these meetings or therapy and to this day,they haven’t.can you imagine being this world-famous movie star in group therapy,spilling your guts in an anonymous setting,only to read all your dirty laundry in the new york post,a few days later? it is a fact that a lot of addicts in therapy,rehab,or AA meetings are down on their luck,broke,or still somewhat addicted and could not resist the lure of money for selling their “story” of being in session with a famous celebrity,to some unscrupulous tabloid magazine or internet site. i just saying step into her shoes for a minute….okay,so what should Lindsay do,as an addict seeking help,if group won’t help because it exposes her anonymity to the whole world.how did we find out that she wasn’t doing group sessions if all of this is supposed to be confidential,anonymous? no further questions,your honor.please get well,Lindsay,and best of health and clarity of mind.peace
I think Lindsay is going to do whatever Lindsay wants to do I just hope she doesn’t get herself into an even worse situation than the situation to land her in rehab in the first place Time will tell I guess

izzipozzibul…good post and i would like to say i agree with you wholeheartedly on the smoking issue.i have always wondered why she smokes if she has asthma.i sincerely hope that she considers quitting that horrid habit as she cleans up and cleans house.(i can relate to the smoking issue since i live with a pack-a-day smoker,ugh) anyway,staying on the subject of this post,it is true that miss Lindsay has cancelled the vegas nightmare and is committed to turning her life and career around,and i wish her a happy 21st b’day in the company of family and friends.please find the determination you need to stay on the true course of your life and career and never let go.wishing you the best of health and happiness.peace
I’M SO-O GLAD! to hear she has cancelled this — I was so afraid she would get in over her head and have a relapse and end up in worse condition than she was at the beginning of the year — back when those really gross (actually — really personal) pictures were taken in that “ex-bodyguard” post — I’m so sorry that those pictures are still here on this site — such an unpleasant reminder — we should all move on and let those things fall behind in the past where they belong.
happy 21st birthday,miss Lindsay,and may you have many more,as you fulfill your destiny as hollywoods next great screen legend.
