Lindsay to do “Extended Care” program at Promises
Dina Lohan told People that Lindsay Lohan will be doing the "Extended Care" program at Promises Rehab.
Dina says that Lindsay has been "doing great" since she checked into rehab, and that she talks to her daughter every day. She did affirm that the family will be there on Lindsay’s birthday:
Dina also said she and her family will head west for Lindsay’s 21st birthday on July 2. She didn’t say where the celebration will be held – a previously scheduled party in Las Vegas was canceled – but her security guard Ty Dux said, "It won’t be on the Promises premises."
Information on Promises’ "Extended Care" Program - designed to help people in the early stages of recovery move from rehab back into the community. The program "provides a supportive, peaceful environment to address issues that arise as clients re-enter the workplace and/or rejoin their families. The program delivers highly individualized care with a range of services conducted at one of our conveniently located facilities (separate from our residential treatment facilities and our sober living house)."
The Extended Care program includes: 12-Step involvement, Group therapy, Personal coaching, Recreational therapy, Alumni meetings and Transition to outpatient. Therapeutic options also include: family sessions, physical training, yoga, and surfing.
The program explains why we’ve been seeing Lindsay Lohan out more - it’s that recreational component.

i am absolutely thrilled that Lindsay is taking this rehabilitation seriously and wish her all the best and with high hopes that this effort to get clean and in control of her demons will have some positive results when she faces her legal issues in august.i sincerely hope that her turnaround and recovery will have positive results at the box office for I Know Who Killed Me and future movie works.when all is said and done,i fully expect that we will see a mature, wiser, and more take charge of her own affairs Lindsay, hopefully with the auburn hair.happy 21st b’day and best of health and clarity of mind, one day at a time.peace
