Lindsay Replaces Britney as Gala Host
Go Lindsay! News from E! that Lindsay Lohan will be replacing Britney Spears as the host for next week’s Scandinavian Style Mansion gala in LA. The gala promotes high-end Scandinavian fashion - after Britney was hospitalized in January, the host organizer Claus Hjelmbak has been looking for just the perfect new host.
“As a friend, my primary concern is for Britney’s well-being and giving her the love and support she needs,” Hjelmbak told E! News at the time.
Hjelmbak did not return calls today, but several sources tell me that Lohan has signed on. “I think so,” Lohan’s rep also said when asked if she’d be the night’s host.
Oooh, more event photos *crossing fingers*!! Lindsay is SO much more stylish than Britney!!

It’s great for Lindsay
I’m so glad things are going good for her
but I dont like your opinion about Britney,
maybe she’s not too stylish
but I think its because she’s more down to earth and dont like to get all plastic and all make up just for going out to starbucks or a gas station

tabloid drama strategy,lindsay is obviously a real
girl inside and out with spirit,and britney is just a
plastic robot girl,i mean linds want’s to be known
for her cinema prowess,but she blew britney away
at her own game called paparrazzi tabloid drama
linds can play all the angles and i got good vibes
that linds is ON THE VERGE of reclaiming

Why were they considering Britney in the 1st place? No office to Brit but isn’t she a renowned fashion disaster & I thought this event was about high end fashion? LL on the other hand is a well known fan of haute couture

YES! great choice, great choice! so we do have some smart people in L.A? thank god! I mean, not to be mean to britney but linds has so much more better fashion sense than her! Its just the plain honest truth, sorry! I mean, linds is a young girlie girl who cares about her looks and her clothes and her hair and almost everyday of the week she puts alot of effort into to them. britney on the other hand just looks like she honestly doesn’t give a d**n what she wears on MOST days if not all. but I mean. Maybe thats it. maybe she just doesn’t care about her fashion or looks anymore. and thats ok. but while she doesn’t give a fuk, its good they gave the honor of hosting a fashion show to one of hollywoods, but in my oppinion, best fashionista and trendsetter, the one, the only, lindsay lohan! Oh I know she is gonna love this! and so do I! I wonder what she’ll wear! I hope she looks gorgeous in whatever. man, I hope this comes on tv!

Lindsay is the most stylish Star on the planet…I mean she is a fashion Goddess…Style is Lindsay’s middle name…I’m so happy to hear this news…Keep up the good work babe…Love always the most beautiful Star in the world Lindsay Lohan….peace…Btw i wish Britney health and i really hope that she gets back on track

everytime i hear about Lindsay hosting this show or that bash or hosting anything,i get this vivid flashback to the june04 MTV movie awards,a one woman talent show that absolutely tops anything she has done outside of movies.Lindsay changed into SIX different dresses and hair styles in less than two hours,sang,danced,hosted,stole every minute of limelight from every other person in the show,and besides the fact that she was the youngest(and still is)person to host the awards show,at 17,Lindsay also received a movie award for breakthru female performance for her tour de force role as Anna Coleman in Freaky Friday,the ONLY host to ever win a Mtv movie award.they should have called it ‘the 2004 Mtv Lindsay Awards’,as Lindsay owned that show!!!anyway,love you,miss Lohan,knock ‘em dead,have fun,and oh,yeah,bow down,hollywierd,the lady is back,taking the world by storm.go,Lindsay,go!!!love always,a huge fan and friend.peace
