Lindsay Lohan Was Not Replaced In Movie

Amanda Seyfried (Mamma Mia!) has taken over as lead in A Woman of No Importance, a movie that Lindsay was attached to a couple of years ago. Of course, all the gossip sites are saying that Lindsay was replaced. Which is not true (hello, fact check!).

Once again, however, the reports are all wrong! We reported in February of 2007 that Lindsay Lohan quit her role in A Woman of No Importance. She was not fired, was not dropped. And this was in 2007, people. Seriously. It doesn’t matter that she quit for health reasons at the time – it was her decision. And obviously it took a long time for the role to be replaced! The role at one point was held by Sienna Miller who also dropped from it.
Update: I had this section wrong, based on a couple of movies that changed names a lot, but everything above is still correct:
Lindsay was excited about the role in 2006, which has some lesbian undertones to it with co-star Keira Knightly, but I am very happy she’s not doing it. This movie, with all the gossip surround her relationship with Samantha Ronson, would be a bad career move for Lindsay.

You are right exept from some lines of the second paragraph and the whole third paragraph, becuase the film you are talking about is not “A woman of no importance”, is “The best time of your lives” which was filmed some time ago with Keira Knightly and Sienna Miller. The only difference is that there was not any lesbian relationship and the title was changed to “The edge of love”
Thanks for that, you are correct! Sienna Miller was considered for “A Woman of No Importance” as well (from imdb pro), which is probably where the confusion came in for me. Anyway, the post has been updated to reflect the incorrect last paragraph.
No problem, nowadays films changed names and actors a lot,so it`s easy to confuse.

A Woman of No Importance must be one BAD movie because the keep replaceing the actress first Lindsay then I heard it was given Sarlette Johanson then Jessica Beil then Sienna Miller now I guess it’s Amanda
