Lindsay Lohan wants private deposition
Lindsay Lohan filed a motion on Wednesday asking the judge to ban any filming of her upcoming deposition in a case that girlfriend Samantha Ronson has before the courts.
Lindsay Lohan is preparing to give testimony on Samantha Ronson’s behalf. Sam is suing her former lawyers (primarily Martin Garbus) after she lost a defamation case against Perez Hilton - Sam says her lawyers failed to adequately represent her in the lawsuit. The defamation suit alleged that Samantha Ronson was at fault for Lindsay Lohan’s 2007 arrest for cocaine possession. Lindsay would likely be asked about this arrest and her relationship with Samantha.
Lindsay Lohan’s lawyers claim that a videotaped deposition would “unduly embarrass, oppress and burden” Lindsay and that it would be illegally exploited by the media. In order to ensure Lindsay’s privacy in these matters, her lawyers have also asked that no transcript or description of the deposition be entered into public record. A private location for the deposition has also been requested.
A judge will consider Lindsay’s motion in November.

Hello Arieanna ! I have to agree that the Deposition should be sealed , like pleading the 5th. etc. it would be used against Her, in every UK Tabloid ever printed. Bad press She doesn’t need right now. Speaking of which I am wondering if you have heard anything about these ” biblical threats ” that one of the uk trashloid mags is saying our Lindsay is getting ? I don’t like even the thought of her being threatened by one of those mad dog types. I once heard a very prominent Professor I can’t remember the name right now, say that you can stop an army, but one determined nut with a gun can almost always slip past your defenses. Too true in today’s world with all the mall shootings, and school shootings ( had several lately right next door to my little city , in Knoxville Tennessee, very bad business ) and church shootings. the last thing we need is a religeous zealot with an axe to grind, taking aim at my/our favorite person. Now me I am NOT mad, regardless of what the lights in the ceiling may have told you…….Or to put it another way…..She’s MYYYYYY Prrrrrrreeshoiuuuus and I wants it……..

Samantha should drop everything,already she is branded as the bad person and devil here/She and Lindsay should leave LA and live in NewYork.

Who’s branding Samantha as a bad person besides Michael Lohan? I was unaware of any general negative opinion of her.
Personally, I do not blame her for suing Pez Dispenser Hilton for saying she was to blame for Lindsay’s drug problem nor do I blame her then suing her legal team for dropping the ball and costing her money. I know I would have sued in both cases.
Well, I might not have sued Pez. No point in giving that pathetic skank any more attention. But if my lawyers had lost such an easy case, I would be peeved, too. Regardless of the outcome here, I hope this is the end of this because it’s just unpleasantness.

For her to want the deposition sealed and kept private only brings more attention to the matter more so than Lindsay would like. Basically, she just opened a whole new can of worms. Gossip mongers will pay to know what will be said.
Even if there aren’t any cameras or recorders, there will be people present listening to Lindsay provide testimony. Somehow, someway this will leak to the media. TRUST. I wonder what Lindsay doesn’t want the public to know since we’re all familiar with what happened that night?

Lindsay said the drugs wasnt hers,she stayed in that,and thats why she made the deal with the police for just a minimum stay in jaij and agreed to go to rehab.
Samantha refuses that the drugs were hers too,as Perez wrote,and she sues her lawyers cause they didnt insisted with her case.So i agree this is not good for Lindsay,she will have to answer whose the drugs were.From the video footage around in Youtube its pretty obvious they were on and off from that time,and that night had a fight,Samantha was telling her her that they should leave,that there were too many drinks and drugs around,Lindsay wanted to stay with Patrick,and Samantha left on her own.Lindsay got upset then and she actually calls Samantha fucking lesbian in the video footage,and she leaves then too,her bodyguard drives her home.Instead of staying home ste takes her Mercedes and crashes.
I love the scene though when Samantha arrives in the hospital and checks if Lindsay is ok.And then they continue to fight.In the end you can see Samantha being the one who goes and gets Lindsays car.I wish so much they move out of LA.Lindsay can make a new start in NEwYork,while Samantha works.

Apparently the judge has ruled the deposition and all other testimony in the case will be sealed, but this does not mean it won’t be video taped. But, that’s a step in the right direction.
