Lindsay Lohan was featured in the Visionaire No. 52: Private photography book in a very Old Hollywood pose. This edition of Visionaire is in collaboration with Louis Vuitton with guest editor Marc Jacobs. They took personal portraits of celebrities and bound them in this limited-edition book.

Prices start at $375, and they sell out fast. The value of the books goes up with time due to their limited print run of only 2500.

Lindsay reminds me so much of old hollywood in her acting,her poses,her unique approach to fashion and style,and she just has that attitude and vibe of the gorgeous and glamourous ladies of that bygone era,not to mention screen presence and charisma.even with her personal issues and tumaltuous offscreen life,the older generation of actresses like Meryl Streep and Jane Fonda do see a kindred spirit in this hugely talented young woman,and hope and pray that she gets it together,as do i.any fan of old hollywood movies,and the fabullous actresses that brought these movies to life,can see the talent,spirit,and pizzaz that Lindsay brings to the game,as she is the modern incarnation of those icons of the golden age of hollywood.most actresses back then were not child stars,did not have 20,000 stalkerazzi scumbags videotaping your every misstep and stuffing your mouth at the dinner table,so give the lady a little slack.everybody in old hollywood had issues,drank,did drugs,were a little off kilter at times,it’s just that the studios protected their actors/actresses,which they DON’T today,and they didn’t have to put up with a public that has an insatiable need for negativity and knowing damn thing about celebrities.movie goers back then wanted their idols/icons up on a pedastel,didn’t want to know anything past the stars image,which is how i feel.i DON’T want to know every little thing about miss Lohan,which is what the scumbag stalkerazzi trashloid media is doing on a daily basis.leave her alone when shes eating,going to meetings,and so forth.the fans just want the image,the good,the movies,the music,the photoshoots,etc.
anyway,wishing my favorite movie star,the fabuLLous and incomparable miss Lindsay Lohan,the best of health,happiness,and some great career oppurtunities.love you,Lindsay.love always,a huge fan and friend.peace

i left a nice comment on Lindsays old school beauty in black and white photos,but it didn’t post for some reason,oh well.anyway,i have a file on my laptop with all her black and white photos over the years,as i am a big fan of black and white photography.the above comment is true,Lindsay would not be in this book if she didn’t have that certain look,that uniqueness that sets apart the ‘i had to look twice…’ from all the ‘reality stars’,no-talent hacks,wannabes,haters,and just plain,ordinary faces that just don’t get people to go watch their movies and other media.Lindsay has a face that stands out in a crowd,and when you take that second look,you see much more than physical beauty,you see that this young woman is ALIVE,animated,charismatic,artistic,and at the same time,a tortured soul,healing,but still kicking,commanding your attention,with that visceral shout,”i am still here!!!” go,Lindsay,go!

Rachel Rule (Dave) I couldn’t agree more, take the Photo we all still go ga-ga over, the Gun Toting Lindsay in the Radar Photo ops. Those ” Textured ” Tights with the heals and Bra or whatever it was, I just had to look at that pic over and over again, till I actually could see the tights themselves ” Tights what Tights ” ” Where exactly were those textured tights again ” ??? Such Incredible Beauty, I wasn’t even Interested in the fact that the tights were textured, I was captivated by the overall beauty of the MOST Beautiful Woman I have ever seen, anywhere !! And I have seen hundreds of thousands of photos of women, millions of photos, and She, Lindsay, Tops them all.

Larry…while i liked all the photos of Lindsay in radar magazine,i am still knocked out by the cover shot,miss Lohan posing with the 9mm and looking over her shoulder with those piercing eyes,such an iconic shot,and similar to one done by ali macgraw in a promotional photo for the 1973 movie ‘the getaway’.Lindsay has that certain chameleon ability to look like every woman,yet keeps her own uniqueness,and those incredible eyes,in every posed shot or tribute to those gorgeous and glamourous ladies of old hollywood.if you want to see some excellent examples of what i am talking about,look at the march06 ‘premiere’ movie mag,where Lindsay was shot in the period look and costume of Diane Keaton in ‘annie hall’,Liz Taylor in ‘butterfield 8′,and Liza Minelli in ‘cabaret’.Lindsay looks awesome in the poses,old school fashions,and really does a great job in a photo tribute to these oscar-winning actresses.i really want to see miss Lohan walk up on that oscar stage…
