Lindsay Lohan to be Snow White?

The Sun is reporting that Lindsay Lohan is headed back to the big screen for the role of Snow White. This is not the most authoritative source, so I don’t know what kind of credence you can attach to this casting rumor, but it would be fantastic (I think) if it were true.
Lindsay Lohan, who got her start in acting on Disney’s The Parent Trap, last worked for Disney for the film Herbie Fully Loaded in 2005. Although this new film may not be a Disney movie, it definitely deals with a classic Disney character.
The new Snow White movie is based upon ‘The Stepsister Scheme‘ by Jim C. Hines, a book that combines the darker themes behind the fairy tale with a Disney-princess-meets-Charlie’s-Angels angle. This book looks at Cinderella, so I’m not sure how the Snow White angle fits in. Perhaps it’s another Cinderella adaptation, not a Snow White one?
“There is a lot of interest in adapting this book, especially off the back of the huge success of Twilight and Harry Potter,” a movie insider tells The Sun.
According to the news report, Lindsay Lohan is expected to bring a “modern twist” to the tale and role of Snow White. From what I can tell, the book hasn’t yet even been adapted into a screenplay, despite interest and casting rumors.

This is such a bad idea if it’s true. She needs something unique and original that will make people take her seriously again. This would be a joke.

yep, this is not a serious movie, but Lindsay need to work! We dont know anything about Labor Pains.. or i am the one? LOL. When will this movie be released? And “Dare to Love me” ? we saw a pic of her on the set once and not again! Whats happening? i think Lindsay have to tell us what is goin on in her acting career! and her new album. but i will Love and support Lindsay always, i love her very very much!

I’m with Claire on this one. I used to come up with ideas like this book. Then I turned thirteen. This is just a bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad idea.
What Lindsay needs is a role like Monster, referring to the movie that gave Charlize Theron some credit for her acting ability.
While I wouldn’t mind seeing Lindsay in a fun action extravaganza, those can be rather brainless. She needs to show more brains.
I don´t like this film too, but I believe that there´s no reason to worry about, i mean… is not going to happen, like whith mansions gilrs or ye old time (sorry if the names are wrong).
Even thoug this film seems to be bad, I agree that Lilo has to work and to show that is a serious actress and professional.
And she haven´t filmed “Dare to love me” yet, that strange but beautiful picture of her was a photoshoot. “Dare…” will start filming in April-May, if nothing goes wrong.
