Lindsay Lohan to be honored at Capri Film Festival
Lindsay Lohan will be honored at the 2007 "Capri, Hollywood" International Film Festival on December 30th in Italy:
American actress and pop singing star Lindsay Lohan is joining a remarkable lineup of international of directors, producers and performing artists being honored at the 12th Annual Capri, Hollywood 2007–The Film Festival. Producer Mark Canton (300, The Spiderwick Chronicles) serves as Chairman of the star-studded festival, which will take place at various locations throughout Capri, Italy, from December 27th through January 2, 2008.
In the spotlight from an early age, Ms. Lohan began her show business career as a child fashion model for magazine advertisement and television commercials. Her ad work led to roles in soap operas, and she was already considered a show-business veteran at age 10 when she landed the role of Alexandra "Alli" Fowler on Another World, "where she delivered more dialogue than any other 10-year-old in daytime serials" of the time. She made her motion picture debut the following year by playing identical twins in Disney’s 1998 remake of The Parent Trap…
“It is indeed an honor to have Lindsay Lohan at Capri, Hollywood,” said Festival producer Pascal Vicedomini. “We are delighted to recognize her talent as a performing artist, as well as her position as an icon in the world of entertainment.”
“The slogan of this year’s Capri, Hollywood will be The European Cinema Lives, a testament to the fact that all great cinema does not just originate in Hollywood”, said Marco Di Lello, Minister of the Tourism and Cultural Departments of the Campania Region of Italy.”

That’s keen. Kind of a shame they have to talk about her early career, but I’m sure she’ll get more respect once she makes that Metroid movie or something.

OMG that’s great at first i thought it was a rumor but now it’s true and I’m so happy cuz she’s one hell of an actress and i love her movies. the bad thing that she was highly critized for I know who killed me allthough I thought it was great I love it, but the critics were terrible with no compassion, and then every article of magazines or blogs were saying that this was the end of her career also for her personañl and her strugle with her sobriety.
But now I’m so proud of her she is clearly sobber, her public apearences have been less, and she go out just for shopping and having fancy dinner’s with family and friends,now everything is going well for ms. lohan. yeah!
