Lindsay Lohan Shopping in SoHo

Lindsay Lohan reportedly did not attend to the wake held for her grandfather. Instead, she was seen out shopping in Soho, New York (photo above). According to the NY Daily News, Cody Lohan did attend the funeral, but Ali did not.
Lindsay has also posted two updates to her MySpace blog today. In the first, she was looking to get some Dixie Cups for Samantha, and signs the post "for sr… ILY" – which I take to mean, "for Samanth Ronson… I Love You."
In the second post, Lindsay talks about the media focus on Sarah Palin’s pregnant daughter. She makes a good point about parents needing to talk to their kids about protecting themselves when sexually active.

i wonder why she didn’t attend the wake..
I don’t think Lindsay was close with her grandfather and also she probably did not want to interrupt the service with paparazzi/media attention that her father and her are getting. So I think it was the best decision. Everyone mourns in different ways it’s not important to attend funeral/wake if you are still in the process of grieving. May God rest her grandfather’s soul.
