Lindsay Lohan recommends, via her blog, that you listen to M79 by Vampire Weekend. You can check out their MySpace here. Scroll down in the music player to find M79 - it’s a great listen. I can definitely see why the band labels their music with “Punk / New Wave / Classical.”

Hey Opie ! I agree the acidity of the comments by some of the sicko’s that visit her site would melt the copper circuitry of the server handling them if they weren’t virtual. WOWSA. Bad karma, and I don’t even believe in karma. I had a Dogma once, but my Karma rolled over it in the driveway and killed it. Yessireeee flattened it right OOOOUT. But I have left messages thtere to the effect that Arieanna’s site here is the ONE to visit !, so hopefully She will read some of the comments, at least OURS anyway. and come here where She can get REAL fan support. !!!!!!!

Actually, Larry, someone had posted a rather large picture of gay porn in her comments section. I don’t know if there’s some way to report that to MySpace so they delete it, but posting that and just that as a response to her telling folks about some band is rude beyond words.
She’s apparently on a music kick as her latest MySpace post recommends Edie (Ciao Baby) by the Cult. An interesting choice as Edie Sedgwick was young woman who’d gained fame too fast and succumbed to her additions. It makes me wonder what’s on her mind to seek out a song like that. But it is a good tune, so maybe it’s just that. Incidentally, the bio pic about Edie, Factory Girl, is not worth the time it takes to watch.
