Lindsay Lohan reacts to father on Twitter

Lindsay Lohan took to Twitter this morning reluctantly when her “ex father’s antics” put her once again in the limelight.

Michael Lohan released a second audio tape to Radar Online — this one supposedly secretly taped by him in September 2008 of his ex-wife Dina Lohan discussing Lindsay.

I think Lindsay was hoping the media wouldn’t report on his actions, but unfortunately that didn’t happen.

Here is Lindsay’s Twitter stream this morning after hearing about the second tape being released:

@rpulse1 the more you tweet about my ex father’s antics, the more he will sell! Please don’t spread his cruelty, just ignore it!

@rpulse1 better to not even mention his name, he’s a deadbeat dad. He’s disgusting to do this. He doesn’t deserve attention. He needs help.

Its so sad that I even have to share this w/everyone, but I haven’t had a real relationship w/Michael Sr. In years. That is the truth.

I just hope I can show others how to be strong through times & to be able to stand up for yourself and loved ones no matter what!

Good news is, I haven’t called him many times @ all-so, it will end sooner than later!!! Lol

Toward the end of her Twitter messages, I think Lindsay really got it. Lindsay can show others how to be strong through rough times. We can all relate to that.

I hope for Lindsay’s sake that this media frenzy with her dad ends soon. Regardless of her dad’s intentions, who would want to be in Lindsay’s place right now? Would you want your phone messages broadcast to the world?
