Lindsay Lohan Photo in Drunk Driving Ad

As shown in the video clip below, Lindsay Lohan’s mugshot was used as part of a campaign by the American Beverage Institute, a group that supports the alcohol industry. The ad appeared in USA Today on Friday.
The mug shot is used in an ad attacking legislation for devices that measure blood alcohol levels inside a car – preventing the car to start until the device has done a measurement. The legislation would require the device for drunk driving offenders, including first-time offenders. The ad reads:
"Ignition interlocks are a good idea for [Lohan's mug shot] But a bad idea for us [other people drinking]."
The American Beverage Institute says they used Lindsay Lohan because she’s high profile and had multiple DUIs. They want there to be a distinction between first-time offenders and multiple offenders.
There are multiple issues at stake. First, that the ad does not clearly state that it was paid for by the liquor industry. Second, that it suggests that first-time offenders who perhaps that had champagne at a wedding should be excluded (which makes it acceptable, by extension, to drink and drive). And third, though the mug shot is a part of "public domain", its use was, it could be argued, clearly intended to pass judgment on Lindasy Lohan.
Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer, Blair Berk, responded to the ad, calling it irresponsible:
"Drunk, old, white businessmen, drunk cougars out for girls night out, and drunk wedding parties should be kept off the roads of America. Lindsay Lohan fully endorses ignition interlock devices that have been well-proven to save lives"

Let me be the FIRST to comment here, This use of Her Public ” Mug Shot ” may be legal, as such as a picture , but the background in which it was used is clearly intended to Insult. Period. As a matter of Semantic Relationships to Reality, the makers of the add, must have know aforefront, the Public’s reaction to ANY ” Implied ” ( there’s that word again, think about it …….) Suggestion that ANY ” Drinking and Driving ” would ever become acceptable is not going to happen, any such is irresponsible to start with, as accidents leading therefrom will NEVER be acceptable to the Public, or to any truly responsible individual. So looking at the Add from a purely Logical Standpoint, it’s intent can only be inferred as to Defame, once again Lindsay, and attempt to Injure Her career. In short, the picture may be public property, as such, but the context of it’s use in this case, could and probably should be actionable. ( I.E. Lawsuit. ) In fact, one could infer that the placers of the Add fully expected to wind up in court over it, so it could have been a deliberate provocation to once again try to tie Lindsay up in legal actions in a court of law, as continual defenses and serial lawsuits become incredibly draining and expensive to the budget, and time consuming on a personal level. having to defend, having to execute complaint against etc. Looks like more of these people who are trying to keep Lindsay’s life in turmoil. I say Lindsay this one Ignore, the red herring is too damn red this time. ( too obvious. )

I can’t express what I feel because I am not a native speaker of english so I can’t say what I think. I did not understand all the things that are in the video but by few things that I got I am really angry. What they did is just terrible because they did it without Lindsay’s permission.
