Lindsay Lohan out of rehab
Lindsay Lohan has now graduated from rehab! According to People, Lindsay Lohan has completed her 6 week stay at Promises Rehab. Lindsay Lohan has taken her stay at rehab very seriously and is comitted to turning her life around. Lindsay has asked to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet as part of her outpatient care - in part to keep her in check, and in part to quiet the rumors.
Lohan’s rep, Leslie Sloane, gave PEOPLE this exclusive statement: "On Friday, July 13, 2007, Lindsay Lohan successfully completed her 45 days of residential and extended care treatment at Promises. She has transitioned to an intensive outpatient program, which includes attendance at daily AA meetings, outpatient therapy and daily testing. On her own, she has also made the decision in support of her sobriety to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet. In part she is wearing the bracelet so there are no questions about her sobriety if she chooses to go dancing or dining in a place where alcohol is served."
Says Sloane of her client, "She’s doing great. Lindsay is working hard on her sobriety and we are all supporting her."
The actress (who quietly turned 21 on July 2) had a chance to show off the bracelet – which she wears on her ankle – on Saturday night at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas, where she sipped an energy drink and hung out with about ten friends. Says a clubgoer: "A lot of the attention was placed on Lindsay and she was smiling – really enjoying the evening."
Congratulations Lindsay, we are all very proud! None of the pictures of last night’s event featured Lindsay Lohan’s ankle, so I don’t know what the bracelet looks like.

congradulations,Lindsay,on a successful completion of rehab and i hope that you continue the AA meetings and continue on the road to recovery and getting a handle on the demons.i think it was very wise of you to volunteer for the alcohol monitor ankle bracelet and it will be of substantial benefit when you go to court in august.good luck with your legal issues and keep a low profile.i hope to see you promoting I Know Who Killed Me,and returning to work on your next album and movie.best of health and happiness.peace

What exactly does that bracelet thing do - I mean is it just to remind her not to drink or does it actually make her sick or something if she drinks ??? Does it work on drugs too ???
She looks happy and healthy though, and she does need to learn to live a normal life just without the substances and it looks like she doing that - clever of her to get the commitment with PURE out of the way, so that the pressure is gone.
Good thing that she gets tested every day - that should help her a great deal too. Wonder when Poor Things will start shooting.
