Lindsay Lohan No Longer a Manson Girl
Lindsay Lohan will no longer be in the movie, The Manson Girls. It was reported in late March that Lindsay Lohan would be playing Nancy Pitman, a once-loyal member of Charles Manson’s cult in Manson Girls.
The movie, which was set to begin production this July, was an indepdent feature written and directed by Matthew Bright. Despite the fact that Lindsay agreed to the movie (reportedly) for only $75,000, the rumor is that the agents were having trouble finding people to co-star with Lindsay.
So, for whatever the reason, I’m sad that Lindsay Lohan will no longer be in the film. I am not sure I liked it for her, I’d rather she be in a blockbuster right now to get her back on the market, but it’s still sad news.

i guess it’s my turn to clear the air:
Lindsay was NEVER signed to do this movie,script wasn’t finished due to writers strike,no funding was in place,no insurance,no casting director was attached to this ‘movie’,and producer/director ‘brad wyman’ is NOT listed in SAG,directors guild,or ASM producers association.huh?what gives?how comes there are no named actors,actresses,and production houses attached to this ‘movie’?Lindsay had expressed interest in the role,only as long as it did not conflict with her SIGNED projects,end of story.the smearNET will never tell you any of this because there is no drama in the truth,and of course,all of these ’stories’ originate with those british trashloid sites,contactmusic,femalefirst,sun,news of the world,and ’star/people’ owned by reston publishing of the UK,duh.everything comes from the UK sites because they are outside of US libel/slander laws and legal action.no further questions,your honor.peace

i find it hilarious that Lindsay was being paid ‘75,000′ for this ‘movie’,the exact same amount that she was supposedly getting paid to play a stripper/waitress in the completely non-existent ‘florence’,lie much,people trashmag?!!!why is it that Lindsays dollar amount ’salaries’ are ALWAYS public information,when most other actors terms are confidential?i smell a rat,something fishy,the hand of perezhole…

I was sad at first, but then again Im like, this doesn’t doesn’t stop linds binz’s game. shes got a 5 episode run on ugly betty, an album coming out this summer, with that new sexy dance jam “bossy”! gigs and probably even more movie deals already made, that we have no clue about just like labor pains. so hey, thats how stuff goes sometimes. linds is coming back. matter fact, dont even call it a comeback! shes just working hard this time cuz shes ready to show hollywood what lohan is really about. thats hardwork and talent. I refuse to believe any of that bulls**t about the directors not finding any people is work with the gorgeous lindsay! Puh-leeze! ha! linds has an amazing personality and is so charismatic, people who meet her find very likeable. Ahem. her and america ferrera hit it off terrifically on the set of ugly betty. what does that tell you? and ferrera is a really genuine good girl. also her and her former hater hayden even made friends in capri last new years. linds can make anyone like her, of course unless she doesn’t want them to like her and shes mean to them. but anyways, what idiot would’nt wanna work with real talent like hers? forget her past dude shes the best of the best. and would look good on their future resume. but, that would just be on them. and she would only get paid 75,000?! AHAHA! oh thats perez hilton doing his best job! dude if thats all they were paying, she wouldn’t have even took that! she no’s what she and her talent is worth? and thats millions hun! case closed. you win some, you lose some. I guess these projects weren’t meant to be. on to the new better ones that will come to lindsay soon. just have to wait a litle bit longer. she’ll get their slowly but surely. I don’t have a single doubt, I sure dont. pretty blessed director who snagged her for labor pains. this is obvioulsy the project linds felt was right. so it must be a good one.

they say in hollywood,that all publicity is good publicity,no matter if it is good or bad.if that is true,then Lindsay is the number one story,right here,right now.’the case of the fur coat’ is on every network,every trashloid,every newspaper,and all over the smearNET,and,would you believe,the U.S. presidential race got overshadowed by a freakin’ fur coat and a tramp called ‘masha’?!our great country is in a sorry state of affairs when all the so-called ’serious’ news outlets run a smearNET rumor(read LIE) as a bona fide ‘news item’,LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!

i read somewhere today in the internet that LL was the one who withdrew from it, that’s according to leslie sloane. LL withdrew because she has to film ugly betty and this new movie Labor Pains. here, i copied and pasted the statement
Lindsay Lohan has withdrawn from an upcoming movie about convicted murderer Charles Manson, her publicist said Friday, following an Internet report she had been axed from the project.
The 21-year-old actress was due to play Manson family follower Nancy Pitman in the film “Manson Girls”, but has pulled out of the production because of scheduling conflicts, spokeswoman Leslie Sloane said.
“She is not able to do the film as she has signed on to the film ‘Labor Pains’ and the TV show ‘Ugly Betty’ and the dates conflict,” Sloane confirmed in an email to AFP. “She was interested in Manson if her schedule permitted.”
News of Lohan’s withdrawal from “Manson Girls” came as the respected movie industry blog, deadlinehollywooddaily.com reported that the actress had been dumped because other actors refused to work with her.

wow,was today friday the 13th?!no?because it darn sure feels like it,because now i have seen an item on MSNBC that Lindsay has dropped out of ‘ye olde times’,also.l also saw it on the ’smokin gun’ and google news,so,when it rains,it freakin’ pours on my girl,Lindsay.at least,these news items were middle of the road,and said that miss Lohan dropped out of both films due to scheduling conflicts,but there is some good news-Lindsay is set to start filming ‘labor pains’ near the end of May,and pre-production of sets in already started,this film is a go!!!LLove you,miss Lindsay.LLove always,a huge fan and friend.peace

thats right liz! I soo belive leslie saloane! our girl is so freaking busy right now, that she actually has to back out of things, my guess is definitley for the things that are more worth it. sorry, I think ugly betty is more worth it! I mean 5 episodes of lindsay on ugly betty coming into americas home! its a chance for people to see her working, doing something good. for free! and for them to maybe change their idea of lindsay. I dont think she has the same pressure she has on tv than when shes doing a film so she might feel a little bit more confident and comfertable with tv at this particular time. I think its good for her. linds could even snag an emmy out of this. ya never no. with these movies, lindsay has to be so careful now. I mean, she is bassically starting a new career. and shes probably a little afraid. she wants to put some good work out here for people to enjoy. she does not wan’t to put out another flop like IkWHM, even thou it was a great movie. she is trying to make sure she makes good decisions. lindsay can’t just take everything. it has got to be something good thats gonna benefit her career in the future. these movies might not have been good for it. but now Im wondering since shes out of that jack black film, could her hair be red again in the near future? man, Im like praying for that so bad! Pleese lindsay! pleese just dye it red already! thats a perfect move for her. everybody loves that girls red hair. how could you not? its completely gorgeous! the red hair will always be a hit with lindsay lohan.

Personally, I think that this is a smart move on Lindsay’s part. I think that she is really focused, and Ugly Betty may have made her realized what is really important. She has acting chops–why settle for roles that may not put her on the map.
Also, I think that she was taking the Mason Girls role is because maybe she tried to line up as much work as she could. Whatever the case maybe, I think she knows that she needs to take roles that she can excel in…and also not overwork herself. In a movie role, she could strive quality not quantity. If that’s the case, she is doing a good job with her current decisions.

I love Linds, but you guys have to understand that some actors do not want to work with her because of her past behavior. Insuring her would be difficult because of her stints in rehab.
Like Robert Downey Jr. she’d have to pay for her own insurance and that could get expensive.
The sad part is that Hollyweird “bad boys” such as Downey Jr. do bad and the public is quick to forget and forgive, but the ladies get a raw deal.
No matter how hard Linds is trying to stay on the staight and narrow, people are still spewing hatred. I just don’t get it. She’s young. She’s made her mistakes and dealt with things to the best of her ability.
I personally think that she’s not really looking for a blockbuster, but a challenging indie role that proves that she can act. She wants to prove that she loves her craft and can carry a role effortlessly.

LOL and i so agree, lindsay has the best personality..people are so wary of what she’s going to be because they hear all the crap perez and x17 churn out all the time..then when they actually meet her they love her..shes so misunderstood. Thats why shes goiing to turn it round because shes smart. shes beautiful.and she has talent. she is HOLLYWOOD. F**k the haters. and everyone that think shes a joke..lindsays determined to prove you wrong. and i have no doubt that she will.

Actually I have always felt that semantically, this was a poor choice of film to advance her career, so for her to back out of it, for various reasons, was a WISE decision on Her part, a Role, isn’t just always a ” Role ” if you get my meaning, and some roles are bad for a persons career, even if the film is a hit. The association of an actor or actress with some derogatory roles, could negatively impact their careers, just because of the subject matter of the film, or the character played. In this case a ” Patty Hearst ” effect could have been a back lash on Lindsay’s career itself, so I am not at all unhappy that She dropped this role, besides the Girl in question was to my knowledge very insane, unsane, and intimate with the murderer, so maybe the film would have had total exposure bedroom scenes in it that would have been contracturally obligating to lindsay once filming began, and could have seriously scuttled her career. As we haven’t seen the film script itself, we don’t know how graphic it might have been, Only Lindsay and a few other people actually have seen the whole script. I personally don’t like the whole subject matter of a movie about that murderer, I did not see ” Helter Skelter ” nor will I see it. I Lived through that time, and set of events, and I have no wish to revisit his interactions with society in any way shape or form. It would be better if he died quietly in prison, and his whole episode just faded away never to be heard from again.
