Lindsay Lohan meets ‘friend’ in rehab
Lindsay Lohan has a new friend in Promises rehab center - Dori Cooperman, the disgraced NY socialite. Dori is in rehab for abuse of prescription pills and alcohol, and entered Promises 2 weeks ago - after checking out of the "not cool enough" Meadows rehab clinic in Arizona.
In April, Cooperman was arrested on forgery and larceny charges for swiping a neighbor’s $4,300 check and depositing it. Under a special probation, her record will be expunged if she keeps her nose clean for two years. Cooperman did not return our call and her lawyer said he was unaware of the rehab stint. But another person in the know said that Cooperman and Lohan were spotted on a gym trip away from the rehab center last week. A friend of Lohan warned, "Dori is trying to worm her way into a friendship with Lindsay and it won’t work."
It does not sound like Dori takes rehab seriously, and that’s the last kind of person that Lindsay Lohan should be associating with right now. She needs friends who want her to change her ways, and are willing to support her do it.

here we go again….c’mon,guys,the new york post?! i wouldn’t line my cats litterbox with that rag;believing anything written on this contemptible toilet paper is like letting hilary clinton dictate policy on free enterprise and small government!!! it just doesn’t add up,folks.think about this for a moment,will ya.if this cooperman chick was busted for cashing in a stolen $4,300 check,how is she in a $48,000 a month rehab? once again,it smells like poo….BING!!!! i really like this site,but do you have to legitimize every piece of tabloid trash that comes along,especially anything out of new york or britain? well,after smelling that stuff,i gotta go empty the litterbox.thanks heaps,ny post.as always, good luck and health to the beautiful miss Lohan.hang in there,kid,it will get better.peace

Since when do you have to be friends with people who happen to be at the same facility at the same time.
Lindsay is smart enough to see through this - if it is in fact true. I have faith in her making the right decisions.

Maybe Lindsay is trying to help Dori turn around too — sometimes — although risky, I’ll admit — it helps to be understood by someone who’s going through the same problems …

Elizabeth –I think Arieanna does a fantastic job of putting this site together. I’m sure she has to make a lot of decisions about what to include, and what NOT to include in these posts, and I will say — even without knowing exactly — that I am VERY grateful for some of the choices she may have made to OMIT some things. I am, however, struggling at the with the post that has some very intrusive and demeaning pictures of Lindsay. I believe she could have presented us with enough information to talk about without these pictures, so for as much as I enjoy most of this site, I am disappointed, dis-heartened, and dis-enchanted by this choice and will continue to find it a blight to an otherwise superior, Lindsay-affirming site. I would be most interested in hearing your perspective on this.
