Lindsay Lohan may get 180 days in jail
MSNBC is reporting that Lindsay Lohan will most likely face 180 days in jail. Experts say her best bet to avoid jail time is to return to rehab and remove herself completely from the party lifestyle - her exit from rehab and return to parties was a bad sign, they say.
That behavior won’t cut it anymore and neither will spa-style clinics, said Barry Gerald Sands, a Century City defense attorney who’s also a certified drug and alcohol counselor.
“Whatever you have done in the past, do a 360-degree turn and go the other way,” Sands said Wednesday. “She has to change her alleged friends, people sharing or selling her drugs. She has to lead a clean and sober life.
“Silk-sheet recovery homes don’t do the job.”
Experts also say that Lindsay Lohan may be able to plead for rehab instead of jail. That said, Paris Hilton has led the way and prosecutors and judges saw the major backlash of her "preferrential" treatment, increasing the likelihood that Lindsay will receive more stringent terms. Judges and lawyers will all be under their own scrutiny and they have elections to consider - a plea agreement may be possible.
Most people do agree, however, that someone needs to force some discipline on Lindsay. That she’s been left to her own devices for too long, and she can’t get out of this on her own.

Yes, I know her family is dysfunctional; her parents hate each other, and she had very little guidance, but common sense would dictate that when you’re making it big you don’t start doing all kinds of booze and drugs! It doesn’t become an “addiction” if you don’t start in the first place!

OK - I need a brake from Lindsay before I go to the other side. This is just so disappointing. I really thought she was doing better. I’ve been supporting her all the way, but I’m going to take a brake before I get to the point where I just cannot be a fan anymore due to her bad behavior.

Get you act together! Take responsibility for your actions. Don’t use a bad family life as an excuse - you have made all the bad choices yourself! Yes these choices were yours!
I hope that you truly want to get better. I hope you don’t have to go to jail, but you have created the road straight to jail yourself.
I think you are an amazing actress and I love watching your movies and I hope you get to make more, but leave Hollywood behind for a while. Get better treatment - tougher treatment is what you need.
I pray for you and wish you well, but I’m going to take a brake from you for a while, beause I cannot with a good conscience support you at this moment simply because what you do makes me sad and somewhat angry mostly because you are making a fool of yourself and a fool of your fans who have supported you!

There are millions of people in America that have lindsay’s same problems. She grew up with a father who was a drug abuser and it is very hard to over come issues like that in child hood. Cocaine is a very addicting drug and is emotionally hard to get over. Anyone that says that they’re are dissipointed can be but most people have no idea who she really is except for her close freinds and family and even they might not tell the media what they think or what is going on. I envy lindsay because she is very talented and if anyone could actually look into why people drink, smoke, and do drugs it’s alot to do with their genitics and how their mind reacts. So give her a brake she messed up. One of my best freinds 2 years ago got 2DUI’s in a month and she just got her life back together and so will LINDSAY! Anyone that talks shit about her has no idea what the world is really like and I’m sure most people including myself really have no idea what the life a a superstar has to deal with but if I had cameras in my face every second of the day I’m sure I’d want to let loose, buy a 1/5 and get blown!

reva traugott…good comment,agree with it all,and i like that you said she is very talented.i couldn’t agree more,i think she is hugely talented,beautiful,charismatic,and a very present and alive screen prescence.but,at the same time,she desperately needs help and good friends who will have her back and protect her interests.i totally agree with your comments on addiction as i myself have fought alcoholism all of my adult years,stemming from issues in my teenage years.another reason that i feel both empathy and sympathy towards Lindsay is that her problems are so deep-seated that her career,fame,money,etc means nothing in her descent into the abyss of self-destruction.in my worst years leading up to my dui-crash,i cared about only one thing-the next party and drink!!! i didn’t care about my job,bills,non-drinking friends,relatives,warning-sign brushes with the law,NOTHING but the next party.god,i know what she is going through to some degree and i wish i could help her.i am not cured of alcoholism,i just learned how to live with it,co-exist if you will,one day at a time.i do sincerely wish her well and best of luck in court.peace

in cali,drug offenders are given a chance to attend a diversion program,screened,and given a chance to wipe out drug USE felonies through treatment and successful probation,and,in addition,blair berk,her lawyer,is a quite experienced defense attorney,and will get her non-violent offender client in the program.
second,one of the duis will probably be dropped in either a plea deal or from lack of witnesses/evidence since Lindsay was not actually observed DRIVING in either case.dui no.1: no keys in ignition since vehicle was gone when cops showed up,need witnesses to say she was driving,but that means ronson or mystery male would have to testify in a trial,unlikely.dui no.2,once again,no Linds behind the wheel,why do you think the santa monica cops arrested her for ’suspicion’ of drunk driving?when i had my dui/crash,i was still in vehicle,trapped in a frozen seatbelt,and the cops CHARGED me with dui/bac.19,duh,i was in the drivers seat.i still think one of those clowns was actually driving,not her,what a setup.you think i’m crazy?THIS IS HOLLYWIERD,LAND OF CRAZY!!! while i think she needs serious help for her issues,i think she is being setup by these seedy looking fools,who probably are part-time stalkerazzis for tmz!!!!think about that,people.peace

Well, you did the crimes and you’ve gotta pay for them. Maybe the 6 months in jail/prison will be enough for you to straighten yourself out. It’s 6 months out of what may be a relly good life, - if you can change. Don’t blame it on your mommy and daddy, they were your choices and YOU made them by yourself. So, get clean, grow up, find decent friends, stop the bar-hopping, and earn a fulfilled life instead of a wasted one. I’ll still be your fan when you get out and try again,…the right way, next time.

pamela g….how do you know that she acually DROVE in the second dui?the only people who say that they saw her driving the truck are these alleged passengers(only 2 of these 3 fools were supposedly in the vehicle).she could have been so drunk that the cops pressured her to say anything in her distress and state of mind-its cali,people,the land of crazy,anything is possible.if there was this crazy 100mph chase,where are all the witnesses,or the driver of the vehicle she suppoesedly almost had a head-on collision with?i love how these three seedy-looking fools want to settle without going to court.i’d love to see these three geniuses,k-fed look-a-like,mexi-mullet guy,and fat albert,on the stand,without the tmz puppetmasters being able to pull their strings in a staged video,LOL!!! think about that.peace

The only witnesses that she actually drove are the three
stooges.Let’s wait the outcome of the trial on the 24th. this month shall we?

I have read that she is in New York with her family right now.
It’s good that she left Hollyweird (capital of Moronistan)
to get things sorted out.
