At first, I thought that Lindsay Lohan doing the Marilyn Monroe shoot was riskey. I had mixed feelings about it. Yet, I will say that she is bold for doing it. Monroe is a legendary icon; she was very hypnotic and whimiscial. Since Lohan was paying homage to her favorite icon and articles have said that Lohan didn’t take any money from the shoot, I was very impressed, particularly, in her not taking any money from the shoot.

If she poses for Playboy, I think that it would make the wrong statement about the poses that she did for New York magazine. I think the way people would interpret as she did New York photos because she wanted to be naked; they were not did for the sake of art because the Playboy spread would denounce it. Comparing New York and Playboy magazines, New York mag is a classier mag; whereas, Playboy’s reputation has always been troublesome.

Lohan says that she wants to get back into the acting game; if she chooses to pose for Playboy, I think that this will harm her acting game. Film directors may see her as being a desperate fallen from grace actresses trying to line up nude gigs.

Of course, the decision is always up to Lindsay. I personally think that she has a lot of talent despite the nasty/ugly sh*t that people say about her in the media. I also think that she is human like everyone else, and the media hypes every little thing that she does. She does have a rare strength if she hasn’t went down the bottom of the barrel. Yes, she went to rehab, BUT that also shows how much responsibility that she does place on herself, and she values her life, too.

I am really against her doing the Playboy shoot. Not only will she receive negative attention, but it will undermine the Marylin Monroe recreation shoot that she has done recently.
