It looks like Lindsay Lohan and her father, Michael Lohan, have resolved some of their differences. The two were spotted together picking roses and hugging in Utah. From the outfits and situation, I think that Michael and Lindsay left Cirque to go to church on Sunday.
Lindsay looks genuinely happy and comfortable with her dad now, and the two even take a second to pose mid-hug for the paparazzi:

I hope that both of them changed for good because who doesnt want to see them happy after all Lindsay has been through a lot. I am so happy for her and her dad I just hope that none of this is just fake to grab attention!
I agree with Lindsay’s Friend- don’t play up your fatherly love for the cameras!! It’s all about her, not you. There is something a little bit odd with how they’re posing and staring straight into the lens- something off, but I’m glad they did it anyway.
Lindsay looks amazing in this dress- she is soo feminine and the sex appeal is subtle, which actually makes it more appealing. And its good to see her in a more natural environment- I’m too used to her in the nightclub scene, or the concrete pavement outside of boutique stores and resturants, littered with rubbish- but she almost looks like she could be in a movie here, everything is so picture-perfect and luminescent.
Lindsay’s friend said it all. that picture is def more happier than the previous one where she looked like she wanted to naw his arm off for touching her! Can’t say I blame her though, so I hope for Linds’s sake that her dad really wants a relationship with her, and not the media and the money.

It’s not enough. Lindsay needs to have the “seven demons” of depression, delusion, addiction, lust, attention, rage and arrogance cast out of her system. A photo op amongst some flowers won’t do it.
Lindsay is deeply smart and deeply thirsty for the truth. She needs the whole story about who she is and why she’s here at this precise moment in 2007: The End Times. Platitudes about faith and changing your life won’t do it. Because this isn’t about life so much as about getting to heaven, which will include betrayal, alienation, confusion and death. But she is a drama queen and that’s what she wants. She wants a rocky road to salvation with hairbreadth escapes and shocking twists all included
It’s not Lindsay’s destiny to marry a simple man, behave herself and play Suzy Homemaker. The people who want her to just reform and become Reese Witherspoon don’t understand her true character, that of a rebel — just like all true Christians are rebels against the world. In the Chinese Zodiac — sorry to bring up pagan stuff, but sometimes astrology is accurate — she is a “fire tiger.” She needs to be in the trenches with her man, like Mary Magdalene with Jesus. That is when her pointless acting-out will turn into true rebellion. There has to be activity, theatricality, excitement with her spirituality.
Lindsay is a fighter which is a good thing, because this is a time of spiritual war, which most people try to ignore. All her songs beg for answers, for knowledge, for someone to as she says “speak.” But she needs to know WHY faith is necessary, WHO her enemies are and what they’re trying to do to her, and WHAT the battle is all about.
Michael Lohan has a very simplistic form of Christianity that won’t engage her enough. It’s the usual Puritanical reform type of Christianity. The kind that gets you to stop drinking. But drinking is not Lindsay’s problem — BEING ON EARTH is Lindsay’s problem. What Lindsay needs is end-of-times, angels and demons Christianity.
But this is a step in the right direction and will buy her some more time until the next… Divine intervention.
They look like love couple instead of daughter to father. Well, i think they still love each other. Imagine confessions of a broken heart song playing in those scenes. I must say Lindsay look very pretty, the dress, the smile, i even like the blonde hair. I wish i could be in michael’s body so i could be with her like in those pics. Haha
Judging from the (possible) sequence of these pictures, it appears that, 1) the paprazzi SEEMS to have been keeping a reasonablly respectful distance, and 2) Lindsay at first shows annoyance at the pap — then it looks like her dad kind of set her fears at rest and got her to relax and smile for the camera.
Then it looks like there was that explosive happy breakthrough — “I actually smiled — and I got through it — because I’M NOT ALONE IN THIS WORLD ANYMORE! — I have a friend — a true friend — and a dad!”
And we see — once again, a TRULY HAPPY LINDSAY!

Now some of this discussion above is interesting. One issue I’ve been debating with myself and sometime I really do debate myself. So what follows is not my conviction but something that I do consider possible.
Is/was Lindsay Lohan really an alcoholic or a cocaine addict? It seems to me that she is/was neither. It’s clear that before her arrests she was a binge drinker and she did use cocaine. But, is a binge drinker really an alcoholic? When she got started she would drink to excess but so do a lot of people her age. But they don’t get up in the moring and start consuming booze before breakfast. I really doubt wonder if she really ever was a drunk all the time alcoholic. As far as cocaine based on what she was caught with on her two arrests it doesn’t seem to me that the quantities suggest a use of the drug that could support an addiction.
Rather what I think we have is a typical legal defense strategy that is used by people with good lawyers when the get arrested for such offenses. I have no problem with this…what should she do? Just say damn well felt like it judge! She’d be in jail right now if she did that. She did what she had to once she screwed up.
Now what is her real problem? I think it is more anger than addiction. I think that when people really disappoint her and more specifically when she is drunk she just flys off the handle at either the offending person or herself. It is a psychological problem but its not really substance dependency. I hope that she has been given some help learning to deal with that.
Hello Deep, I’ll chime in by saying the Reports I’ve gotten from very relaible sources, suggest that (1) She in fact was a border-line Alcoholic,\crossed over the line border line alcoholic, and was Drug Dependant, certain injuries gave rise to a dependancy on OxyContin, a powerful pain supressant, and aparently VERY addictive, instead of possibly so as we were led to believe by the drug manufacturer ( Huge Scandal ), over prescribed by many doctors, and easily available, needs to go to a class four controlled substance, by getting re-classified, and a new version, truly non-addictive needs to be made. As to the Cocaine, I am truly Annoyed by that one. It can be a Felony if too much is found on a person, and automatic jail time, in some countries it IS an automatic jail time, like in a turkish prison you dont wanna be there kind of way. She should NEVER have started doing that one, WHY did she do it I would like to ask her. I really would like the chance to just sit and talk with her. Too MUCH going for her to just throw it all away like that. So someone in her head told her to get help seriously this time, and she did. GOOD. now if Lindsay can just try to stay on track, she needs me very much right now to help her KEEP on track after she is released from Cirque.

It was so good to see that they did indeed get to reconcile especially after her father got his heart right, which if many of you spent time in jail you would also get a chance to see life from a different perspective. Fortunately Michael was put in touch with Teen Challenge a very successful rehab (I have had a family member who went through the program) which if you stick to the Bible and start living a Christian life you can not only be a new creation in Christ Jesus but more literally “be becoming a new creation”. The important part is who you spend time with when you leave rehab. This new life should effect where you go, who you go with, what you do, and of course what parts you take as an actress which Lindsay is. What kind of life are you wanting to promote and what will you do for money!?! I think that Michael is on the right track talking about opening a rehab but only if it can stay true to his calling to glorify Christ in “all things”, acknowledging Him. I think we compromise in some areas if we continue to take part in the Hollywood scene in anyway if we lower our (God’s) standards and continue to use our talents to further the goals of non Godly directors and producers who aren’t Christians. You all know what I mean-movies that involve cursing, smoking, drinking and adult themes not to mention such obvious things such as Harry Potter that involve the occult in any way. Lindsay is just one of the many girls who was exposed to too much at too young an age became caught up in the addictions all around her and lost her innocence. Maybe her father can help channel that talent in a different direction now that he has seen the light. We can all pray that the entire family is pointed in a different direction and can have an effect on so many people that they can influence. Friends in the biz and fans alike! Beautiful pics, I was praying for them from the minute I heard he wanted to visit that they could start all over again now that Michael has had such good counsel and is trying to live a new life!

i listened to the “Confessions of a Broken Heart” cd again,after i saw these pictures,and her songs about her dad are quite poignant and touching,and the song ‘my innocence’ is particularly powerful,and my favorite on the cd.both this song and the title song were written by Lindsay and you can feel her pain in the words and in her voice.while i am a huge fan of her movies,modeling,and pretty much everything she does,i particularly like her music,as it is more her on a personal level.everything is contained in that voice coming out of the speakers.in movies,tv,photoshoots,etc,you get multiple ways to enjoy the performance,but with music,it is just that breathy,raspy,sexy voice communicating pain,sorrow,loss,joy,angst,etc.it truly is a more personal medium,and miss Lohan does it well.i am hoping that this year of madness and healing will bring some new material and a new album from the incomparable triple-threat talent of our generation,the one and only miss Lindsay Lohan.looking great,love you,Lindsay.love always,a huge fan and friend.peace
