Lindsay Lohan gets Razzies

Lindsay Lohan has picked up three of the worst awards in Hollywood – the Golden Raspberry Awards. This morning, she received the Razzies for: "Best Screen Couple", and two awards for "Worst Actress" (one each for both characters Aubrey and Dakota in I Know Who Killed Me.

Technically, there was only one box on the ballot for Lindsay under Worst Actress, so it’s not like she received even numbers of votes for both roles. It also means this movie technically only got 7 Razzies, and isn’t a new record. It’s just goes to show that you really can’t take the Razzies seriously.

The Razzie’s this year are not worth mentioning, they are obviously biased, and obviously on the ” Bash Lindsay ” wagon, I have said before, that there were other films, much worse than IKWKM, what about Grind House, or some of the other really p– Poor excuses for waste of film out there ? I mean !! As I said, if you want to see a really bad film, look up ” Sordid Lives “, that thing was worse than ” Plan Nine From Outer Space ” the worst film of all time so far. even ” The Core ” wasn’t believable, cute, sci-fantasy, but not believe-able. Lindsay’s film on the other hand, given the absolute pandemic of Serial Killers out there wasn’t totally unbelievable, just certain elements, if better filled in plot wise would have been a better movie, the Stigmata part I had a hard time with, just as the ” Seeing her get Hurt, even make believe ” I had a REALLY hard time with. More to the point, that’s why I won’t buy the movie, I can’t stand those scene’s won’t watch them again. Don’t want her getting that hurt. I mean, it is one thing to see her getting beat up in a superhero flick, but you know the good guy wins in the end, and She’ll come back good as new from her injuries recieved in battle, but it’s another thing altogether to talk about dismemberment, and brain damage from being whacked with a shovel. My brother Lewis, whom I love dearly was maimed in a car crash, which ultimately left him without a leg, and permanent back injuries, and he has never been quite right again as a result of it. Never recovered emotionally, 20 years gone by and he still goes through road rage whenever he sees a driver doing something stupid. It’s sad. So there was too much of story fill in left out for me, and the real mess of trying to recover would have taken years not days, I know, because I have seen it up close and personal. But IKWKM was not by far the worst movie of 2,007, there were many many more deserving of that honor.

You get to see Lindsay getting tortured, so that’s a plus.

If Lindsay wouldn’t be in Italy she’d probably attend the show and collect the razzies herself as Jim Carrey did. Giving us a good show for this bad (spoof)show.

I think that’s totally absurd. “I Know Who Killed Me” wasn’t the worst movie of the year. The worst movie is something that I haven’t seen because I usually see good movies. I say that “Underdog” or “Fred Claus” were worse amoung those I did see. IF she hadn’t been in the news with all of her issues they wouldn’t even be mentioning this movie.
Oh, Norbit was definitely worse than I Know Who Killed Me. Never have I seen a comedy so… mean. The whole movie was Eddie Murphy letting out all of the bitterness over his divorce. It just didn’t work on any level.
I Know Who Killed Me had other problems, but watching it was not actively unpleasant.
– I still say “I Know Who Killed Me” will become a classic — it’s just that Lindsay is a year or two ahead of her time — just wait and see (look how long it took for Bach to come into vogue!)

Lindsaysfriend…i like that,’harrASSberries’,indeed,i always like your little play on words or names,very nice.yeah,hollywierd hasn’t brought me much joy in the last few years,either.sure,there are some good movies that come out,every once in a while,but i watch them once or twice,that’s it,but,i can watch Lindsays movies anytime,and they have lasting appeal,because a little piece of her essence is in every role,even the disney tv movies,’life-size’ and ‘get a clue’,which i think are underrated and quite entertaining.so,i am impatiently waiting for her next roles,and in the meantime,i wish her the best of health,happiness,and good fortune in career and personal life in 2008,and beyond.ignore the haters,and they too,shall pass…
