Lindsay Lohan Fires Mom

According to OK Magazine, Lindsay Lohan has "dumped" her mom, Dina Lohan. The magazine claims that Lindsay feels Dina to be a bad influence. Perhaps the alcoholic father who went to jail is more reformed than the partying mother?
Dina Lohan has long been a negative influence on Lindsay. Letting her learn "by experience", rather than through teaching, letting her live out her "wild days", and partying right along side her. Now, Lindsay is dumping not just her party friends, but also her enabler-mom.
It’s not clear if Lindsay is distancing herself from Dina as a mother, or just as a manager. I am seriously proud of dumping Dina as her manager, as that ‘mother’ will do anything to make money off of Lindsay – from using the press to "defend" Lindsay, to abusing her manager role:
“Lindsay fired Dina as her manager,” an insider revealed. “She is livid about all this press her mom is doing on this NYC apartment that she’ll never even live in; Dina even gave Access Hollywood a tour of the apartment two nights ago.”
“I am doing my best to surround myself with good people who have their hearts and minds in the right places,” Lindsay told OK! “That’s what I plan on doing.” Dina, apparently, is not one of those people. The elder Lohan has long been under fire for taking on the role of party pal as opposed to mother, and picking loser roles for Lindsay as her manager in films like Just My Luck and Herbie: Fully Loaded. That’s right – blink and you missed them. Thus are the results of bad motherly and manger advice.
What will become of Dina without Lindsay to fall back on as her bread and butter? Dina recently made Lindsay a sacrificial lamb when she signed a six-episode reality show deal for E! by promising that Lindsay would star alongside her. “No one wants Dina without Lindsay” the source told OK! flatly. “They tolerate her simply to get to Lindsay – the REAL star in the family. When Lindsay found out about the show, she went mad at her mother. She is upset her mom would use her name and sign off on paperwork involving her career without even consulting her. The two haven’t even spoken in weeks except to fight.”
As Lindsay weeds out the negativity in her life, one can only hope she’s truly on the path to recovery. As she told OK!, “Everything is different when you have a clear mind and focus on the right things.”

I tend to agree with smallville one this. She was so tilted toward her mother before and now she is tilted toward her father…perhaps. My advice would be to stay equal distance between them. Find a professional manage who knows what he (or she) is doing!
What’s wrong with just my luck? That was fun show! Herbie was like her last gig of her childhood relationship with Disney. She will never do anything like that again.
I have to wait to comprove that this rumor is true because I dont trust in those “insiders”

She definitely needs to have a non-family manager. But having Dina not be her manager is a good thing and a definite step in the right direction!

Arieanna did not say that Herbie Fully Loaded was a bad movie, she simply used an excerpt from OK magazine, THEY said Herbie Fully Loaded was a bad movie, But WE Lindsay’s fans know different, it was a Great Movie!! Lindsay was already having trouble with Her adiction Deamons when She made that movie, see conversations with the film directors and set managers, at one point her handler was instructed to point out to Lindsay, that they were doing NO closeups of her and She wondered aloud why and was taken aside and told that if She didn’t straighten up right quick, She would be replaced before the week was out. So lindsay got her act together, and Finished the movie which was an OK box office success, based in part on all US O-L-D Herbie fans from the Dean Stockwell era. So NO I don’t consider that ” cutsie movie ” a failure, I Liked IT !! I Also LIKED very much Just My Luck, which I have on DVD, and have seen like a dozen time now. SO THERE ” NOT SO ” OK Magazine. Besides their the ones who made up that false Interview with Lindsay during the Cirque Lodge treatment, the Interview that Never Happened, Remember them?? So take everything they say, discount every ten words, and throw out the rest, and you might find some use for the paper itself, like lining the bottom of a rats cage.

i have to agree with Larry,Herbie was a fun movie,and i liked it.besides,that was nothing to do with any managerial role of dina,since Herbie was the third of a 3 picture deal that Lindsay had with disney dating all the way back to 1998.after the success of Parent Trap,disney signed miss Lohan to two more films,but her mom wisely had her return to school for years until Freaky Friday in 2003,and then Herbie in late 2004.the only movie that dina had anything to do with was Just My Luck in 2005,but i really liked that movie,so screw the haters,but in 2005,Lindsay hired jason wienberg as her manager for getting film roles,so dina was a figurehead after that,just for marketing,name use,and the website,which has remained the same since 2005,what the heck?!anyway,i hate to burst the bubble of any you dina haters,but Lindsay HAS NOT fired her mom,as ok trashmag is notorious for embellishing and speculating in their articles,and now those tmz people are saying that Lindsay HASN’T fired her also.these trashmags are all a bunch of junior high burn book liars,and i don’t put much stock in their ‘exclusive’ LL interviews,as miss Lohan may deliberately be not truthful with these trashmag scumbags since they have continuously ripped her a new one,and Lindsay may be messing with them to exact a little payback.anyway,wishing my favorite movie star,the beautiful and incomparable miss Lindsay Lohan,the best of health,happiness,and success on the movie set of ‘dare to love me’.love you,Lindsay.love always,a huge fan and friend.peace

1)dina got her redheaded little girl signed at age three as the only redhead ever signed at ford modeling agency,over 60 commercials between age three and eleven.
2)dina got nine year old Lindsay an almost two year gig as ali fowler on soap opera ‘another world’ 1995-1997
3)dina got Lindsay to auditons for The Parent Trap,a disney movie,and we all know what doors that role opened…
4)dina got Lindsay a television role on the tv pilot of ‘bette’ with bette midler in 2000,but after shooting the pilot show in new york,the show relocated to LA and dina and Lindsay elected to stay in new york.wise move,as a tv contract would have possibly prevented Lindsay from being cast in Freaky Friday.
5)dina got Lindsay a three picture deal with disney as a result of the success of Parent Trap,the other two being Freaky Friday and Herbie
