Lindsay Lohan BOOed off the World Music Awards stage
Apparently, hosting the World Music Awards 2006 was not glamorous and glitzy, but rather a night from hell for Lindsay Lohan.
Every time Lindsay Lohan hit the stage to host, she was met with Booing. Public booing. Lindsay Lohan became so upset she quit as host half way through!
She was visibly upset when the audience booed her every time she took to the stage, she fell down the stairs and was forced to abandon her role as main host of the ceremony.
The 20-year-old actress pulled out halfway through after tumbling down a flight of stairs backstage.
An onlooker at the awards in Earls Court revealed: "Lindsay was devastated, she came off stage and fell, and so she had to give up. It looked incredibly painful."
Her role was from then on taken up by the individual awards presenters. Luckily, she was not seriously hurt - she was well enough to go partying afterwards, the only sign of injury a blue sticking plaster on a finger.
Still, it wasn’t all bad. Like the other celebrities, Lohan raided the free "gifting room" backstage and was among the first to snap up the hottest gift on show… the Fish’n'Flush toilet, with an aquarium of live goldfish. [Source]
Her absence from the stage was probably more due to embarrassment than from the fall. But all in all, I’m sad for Lindsay.

I thought you said she did a great job? OMG Poor girl.. Poor girl. I wish she were here with me so I can comfort her. Arienna are u sure that this really happened? Maybe it’s just a joke from the paparazzi… I have symphaty for her. Do you think Lindsay Lohan still has lots of fans? Please answer that question I feel so0 damn bad. This turned my day ugly, not exaggerating

She seemed to be doing ok from what I saw, but I wasn’t privvy to all the booing because they haven’t aired here. I do know her fan base is more N. American, so I can only assume she has some people in London who don’t like her.

who cares why she was booed. maybe if she would stop talking bad about other people and doing stupid stuff there would be no reason for most of the world to dislike her. she is a role model for young girls and all she is doing is telling them it is ok for them to get drunk and flash and act like a complete BRAT!!! good for those audience members booing her like they did. Hopefully it taught her a lesson but i am sure that airhead snob blamed it on someone else instead of herself.

She’s very impulsive and an extremely poor judge of character. The booing got worse when she started sucking up to Michael Jackson the molester. I can’t believe what the organizers did, putting that crowd of children around a creep who’s paid off 4 little boys after they accused him of molestation.
