According to Star, Lindsay Lohan has attempted to commit suicide!
They are reporting that Lindsay Lohan has attempted to kill herself twice!
A close friend tells Star that during an emotional meltdown in NYC in the weeks before her May 26 bust, Lindsay screamed that she just wanted to end it all – and tried.
“She grabbed a knife and started cutting at her writs,” the insider reveals. “A friend made her stop and went around looking for sharp objects. Lindsay ran into the bathroom with a bottle of Advil.”
Crying, “Leave me alone! I just want to die!” Lindsay locked herself in the bathroom and threatened to swallow the entire bottle, says the source. Finally, someone broke down the door and saved the distraught actress from herself!
Just a month away from her 21st birthday, Lindsay has already done a tint in rehabat the Wonderland Center in lOs Angeles. But friends say that she was partying right up to the disastrous car crash. The wild night that proceeded it was a not-so-pretty picture of the Star’s out of control life. She was spotted at Les Deux in Hollywood, where she partied with pals until 2:30 am. Then Lindsay headed to a private party reportedly at the Hollywood Hills home of Koi restaurant owner nick Hawk. She was seen leaving around 4:00 am appearing completely wasted,” an onlooker reports. But Lindsay went to the Mondrian Hotel on the Sunset Strip. She was briefly seen in the hotel’s Skybar club before leaving at 4:45 am and returning to her condo, where, says a source, she proceeded to fight with her lesbian lover, Samantha Ronson, 29. Friends say that the pair had been battling for two days. “Sam was at Lindsay’s on Thursday night, but they were arguing because Lindsay won’t acknowledge her as her girlfriend,’ says a source. When Lindsay got home, she fought with Samantha again, says the source. “At about 5 am, Samantha stormed out of Lindsay’s apartment complex off Sunset Blvd. “Lindsay came up behind Samantha in her black Mercedes. There was someone else in the passenger seat Lindsay slowed down and exchanged a few heated words with Samantha. Samantha then got in the car, sitting on the lap of the passenger and they took off. About 10 minutes later, Lindsay crashed her car. She was speeding and lost control. An eyewitness tells Star that after the crash, Lindsay, Samantha and other friend fled the scene. “Lindsay crawled out of her smashed car from the passenger side and ran over toward the house across the street,” says the onlooker. The security guard at the estate says Lindsay was “hysterical.” She started ringing the doorbell. Then, she and her friends left and Lindsay’s bodyguard arrived and drove the damaged Mercedes away. “Lindsay is on a reckless road right now, declares another friend. We’re all afraid she’s going to end up dead soon. She needs help now.”
In fact, just two days after the DUI, on the morning of May 28, Lindsay was found passed out in a car after coming out of Teddy’s nightclub, being comforted by none other than Samantha. Now, while reps for the actress says she has not attempted suicide, concern for Lindsay is mounting among those who love and care for her and believe that what she’s doing is tantamount suicide.

I should have seen this coming. I hope Promises Rehab would change her perspective in life. It’s the only chance she has. I don’t think anyone can convince her anymore
After the rehab stint, if I were her therapist, I would suggest she take a break and travel the world for a year and then resume her career. It would be a big comebak, you know.
Anyway, I cannot believe that there are still people (even fans) who are saying that this second rehab stint is a fake - another publicity stunt. I honestly don’t think it is.

ok forgive me for sounding a tad cynical here, but to me it just seems as though Lindsay’s rep is going for damager control and trying to end as many nasty rumours as she can by sending her off to rehab.
When you’re a celebrity and you party everynight you honestly wouldn’t be able to abandon that kind of lifestyle, and once you start drinking and doing drugs its incredibly hard to stop, especially considering the Hollywood drug culture that is a part of your industry.
I don’t have any faith in Lindsay turning her life around. I hope she proves me wrong but that’s not gonna happen. I think that being such a huge star has turned her into a monster. Just look at her! she lied about the bulimia when it was clear that she was becoming emaciated. She lied about all the charity work she was going to do. She lied about her drinking and her use of coke. She lied about her first rehab experence actually changing her, in fact she treated rehab as a joke. And now, she is lying about getting her life back on track.

chrissy, how could you be so pessimistic at a time like this?! I suggest you say things like that after the stint. Sure, she may have lied about those things and it makes u hard to believe it but I have faith in her.. don’t let this be a “boy who cried wolf” incident.
And I believe with all my heart that ANY person (celebrity or not) can turn his or her life around.

Elizabeth, you’re not getting my point. I’m not being pessimistic- I’m being realistic, and you’re being naive. I for one am not trying to think of all the great things I’d tell Lindsay to do if I were her imaginary therapist.
As long as she stays in the US, she is not going to change her ways. In fact, nothing short of sending her to a reclusive Buddhist Island 10,000 miles away would change her. And if she did, we wouldn’t be able to perve on all her candid photos, and we’d have no clue what she was up to, so for all you know she could be still insane and screwing monks. And if she ever returned, she’d just let Hollywood go to her head all over again and wind up back at rehab.
Why should we have faith in her? Look at what she has done with our ‘faith’- she has virtually shat all over it. Why should she care about us randoms? The moneys in her hand already- she has nothing else to prove. It’s not a ‘boy who cried wolf matter’, its ‘fool me twice, shame on me.’

It’s a shame, but I think it’s make or break time for little Lins. She needs to ask herself who she really wants to be: just another young, spoilt party diva that will be forgotten in 10 years or straighten up, show the world the genuine talent most critics (and stars) agree she has and become the Hollywood legend she deserves to be. It’s vital she steps out of the limelight.

there is something i don´t understand. all the articles say that “friends” of lindsay told them the things they´re writing about ?!? if this is true, i don´t think that they are friends! i don´t know what is true and what is not. i hope that the most things are just rumors. and at chrissy: i can understand your point, but the hope won´t die. what else could we do ? it´s a hard time for her and for her fans. if we don´t think that she will made it, we aren´t fans.

I think Lindsay is extremely awsome and an amazing person. She is my favorite celebrity ever. I think all the media needs to leave her alone. They all put this negative attention on her to not focus on the negativaty in their own lives. People seem to be really tough on her and it is ridiculous. I give her a lot of credit for going to rehab because I personally know it is not easy, and sometimes it does take several tries, but I believe in her that she will be able to do it. I wish her only the best now and always. No matter what people say, I will always believe in Lindsay and be on her side. She deserves people believing in her and wishing her well, as she has brought a lot of happiness to people through her excellent career. And I look forward to seeing more excellent movies like Georgia Rule, Mean Girls, Etc. Lindsay is the BEST!!

alright,people,i am going to say this once:Lindsay is NOT a lesbian!!! that ronson character is a “friend” of hers due to her interest in deejaying and partying.i wish Linds could see that this person is just using her for money and fame and is not her friend in any sense of the word. a true friend would have covered Lindsay’s face from the paparazzi,much less even taken her out in this condition!!! this celebrity leech should rot in hell for the vile influence she holds over our favorite movie star who at only 20 ,still appears to be somewhat idealistic and naive when she thinks her hollywierd friends have her best interests at heart. i can only hope that some positive will come out of this whole DUI mess in that Lindsay will see who her true friends are ,or if she has none,finds some in rehab and AA and away from the young hollywierd cocaine viper room river phoenix dead scene!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow,that was a bit long-winded.anyway,i hope she gets well and makes the right choices in both her career and personal life, peace

Well, it’s happend Lindsay Lohan has officialy cracked under pressure and being in the public eye for way to long. Even if your a celebrity your life will not be perfect and it never will. I actually believe she cut her wrist because in other pictures you can see slits on her wrist to where she has done it before but with cuts that little you cant kill yourself and the cut has to be going down the vain and also very deep letting the blood drain not drip. and just to fill you guys in on somthing you cant die from swallowing a bottle of ADVIL sure it may not be the best thing in the world to do but you cant die from it because it’s not that strong to actually kill you so Lindsay must have been out of her mind. No amount of rehab is going to help this girl, rehab only helps someone if there willing to stop what it is that person is doing Lindsay on the other hand is not willing to get better if this is true, she must have issues with depression and theres no dought in my mind that she might try suicide again in the near future I think hollywood needs to give Lohan a break because shes beyond meltdown she needs to be locked up in a mental instotution

lily-petunia,you are a nutjob…those marks on her wrist were from her scratching the cast on that broken wrist,you airhead.if you go back and look at the 2006 pics of her broken wrist cast and later wrist wrap,you will see that it is the same side wrist as the trashloid pics,and in some pics appear less pronounced than the star magazine ‘pics’.all the trashloids ALTER their pics to cast the celeb in the context of the ’story’ or just to make the star look bad.it is just another example of the hollywierd burn book high school mentality;grow up,you retards,you jealous,petty,no-life haters.if you are going to hate on Lindsay,lily-petunia,than at least learn how to spell ‘instotution’(sic),it’s INSTITUTION,and you look less like a moron during your jealous tirade,when you spell correctly.peace

I saw this on a magazine cover, but it wasnt star.
Lindsay Lohan is just a person like all of us noone really knows her so why do we talk like we do?
I think the media needs to leave her alone, the media is like a fly that will not stop bugging you.
