Lindsay Lohan Arrested - another DUI & drug charge
According to CNN, Lindsay Lohan has had a relapse and has not only been drinking and doing drugs, but was again caught and charged by the police.
According to the police report, Lindsay Lohan was in her car chasing another car, driven by the mother of her personal assistant (who had quit that day). The mother called the police.
Lindsay Lohan was then found to have a blood alcohol limit over the legal amount, and cocaine was found in her car. She was taken into custody - arrested - her actual mug shot is featured to the left. If convicted of either DUI, Lindsay Lohan 
will likely face jail time for the repeated issues.
Five days after being booked in connection with a May drunken driving charge, actress Lindsay Lohan was arrested early Tuesday morning on five charges — including drunken driving and possession of a controlled substance, Santa Monica police told CNN.
Police spokeswoman Calisse Lindsey said police got a call at 1:34 a.m. PT that a vehicle was chasing another vehicle in a parking lot in Santa Monica. When officers arrived, they found Lohan driving the vehicle that was chasing the other, the spokeswoman said.
The officers smelled alcohol and administered a field sobriety test, which Lohan failed, Lindsey said.
When taken to the police station, the 21-year-old actress registered 0.12 and 0.13 in blood tests for alcohol levels, the spokeswoman said. In California, the legal limit is 0.08, according to the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles.
Officers also found a white powdery substance in Lohan’s possession which was determined to be cocaine, Lindsey said.
Lohan, whose film "I Know Who Killed Me" will be released Friday, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, possession of cocaine, bringing a controlled substance into a jail facility, and driving on a suspended license, according to Lindsey.
She was released on $25,000 bail Tuesday morning, according to The Associated Press.
Lohan’s attorney, Blair Berk, issued the following statement Tuesday: "Addiction is a terrible and vicious disease. Since Lindsay transitioned to outpatient care, she has been monitored on a SCRAM bracelet and tested daily in order to support her sobriety. Throughout this period, I have received timely and accurate reports from the testing companies. Unfortunately, late yesterday I was informed that Lindsay had relapsed. The bracelet has now been removed. She is safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care."…
The actress is scheduled to be back in the Beverly Hills Courthouse on August 24 to face the charges there.

According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan has checked into rehab. Not Promises - she is at an undisclosed location.

I dont know what too say…its just so so sad. Her mugshot is heartbreaking. She’s such a beautiful and talented person. I thought she was back on top of things and ready to prove everybody wrong but i guess she still has her demons. This is one of those times when we all need to rally around her and give her all the support she needs…she doesnt deserve to be labelled as a criminal because she is obviously ill and needs real help. I wish everyone would just leave her alone so she can concentrate on her own well being. Anyway.. Get well soon lindsay, your fans love you!

No… if we care about her we would expect more from her. We would not enable her to destroy herself and possibly others as she could have plowed into another Jorge Cruz Jr. a la Rebecca Gayheart.
No… what we need to do is watch her and not believe one word she says. That is the only way she will change. That and going to jail. Sadly :(

Oh no…. It is one thing that she has relapsed - that only involves herself, but driving at the same time is unforgiveable, she could have injured other innocent people. I’m sorry to say that she deserves to be punished, though I hope they will go easy on her. On the other hand: Her charges are worse than Paris Hilton’s…. :-(

She is destroying her career and everything she worked so hard for if she keeps on doing like this( not to mention her life).
This needs drastic measurements: Jailtime I’m affraid.

i think lindsay needs a slap of reality. yes she went to rehab, but it comes off as more of a spa. what this girl needs now is some tough love. she has nobody telling her “don’t do this” or “there are severe consequences for your actions” and now she has found herself in this situation. lindsay lives her life to the limit so its no suprise that things had to get really bad before she may stop. this girl is an addict and needs more than a ankle braclet to help her…she needs to step away from hollywood. no parties. no work.
if she is as serious about getting healthy and becoming a respected actor that she needs to take some serious down time, away from LA, away from the spotlight, and away from the lifestyle she leads.

Lindsay’s friend I am confused, where exactly is the post of her saying ” Thank you to the Guy above me for saying that” or is this a post, or were you being sarcastic? Sorry but I am confused. And it is Official, Lindsay has been arrested for DUI, and they found posession of cocaine on her person, so the charges this time are real, not disputable. Too bad. This will probably result in jail time, I am afraid, that is the Law you know, I am NOT going to Abandon you however, That However does NOT change the fact that I am crying inside for her, can’t shake this feeling of meloncholy now, I Love You Lindsay Lohan Always, and some of the above posts are also probably going to play out, she was arrested for driving on a suspended license, which shouldn’t have happened, with her money, she could have gotten a permanent driver like a chauffer or something. It is too bad that her personal assistant chose that particular time to quit, we probably will never know what that was all about. But the results of that were Tragic, Lindsay I will be your Personal Assistant, if you need one, and I won’t quit on you, But I also won’t buy you Alcohol, or Drugs, EVER. and I won’t stand by while you do them without telling you NO!!! in no uncertain terms. I am so overwhelmed by how quickly the beautiful woman I saw playing with children on Sunday could have come to this. I’m afraid I haven’t really comprehended the gravity of her illness — probably because I haven’t wanted to. But it’s better now that we all do — and stick by her.
I think we may have missed something here, and that is, with the 21st birthday came her “declaration of independence” — from ‘mother D.’ I think that has come at a high price, and at a bad time. Not that there would ever have been a good time. But there must be huge mountains of ambivalence between no longer having to answer to a slave-driving ‘mother’ who, nonetheless “managed” things — and having NO ONE! to manage anything! I don’t know what their “arrangements” are — she definitely needs a ‘manager’ who has HER interests at heart. And she needs a mother. At this point I’m afraid she may have neither — sort of a rough spot to be in, hmm?

You DO need to find the kind of support that you need — and I would pray that, if possible, it would come from your family — if it can.
But as soon as possible — you also need to realize that you need the Same Help that ALL of us need — that goes beyond what any person can provide — and that is The Help you were intended to have all along.

oh COME ON. I can’t believe this. Today I read about her in the paper and it didn’t even register that it was her SECOND arrest in a month. In fact I thought the paper was still going on about the first one, stupid I know. I just never expected for ONE person to commit SO many mistakes within one little year.
STOP IT LINDSAY.
I’m sick of it. I’m sick of reading negative crap about you. I’m sick of everyone I know laughing at the fact that you’re screwed up. They don’t see you the way I see you. And sometimes I would rather be like them. To not care at all because it’s not worth caring about. You kill my faith everytime. You make the stupidest choices. You have just gotten out of rehab and you KNOW that you’re going to be photographed. So what do you do? YOU GO OUT AND PARTY. You go out and drink and do drugs. Were you freaking asking for this??
I just wanted to appreciate the cute and talented redhead that you once were in PEACE. I can’t even be a proper fan of your work because your personal life is more bloody renowned than your work. Lindsay has been going through the same intense life for YEARS! Work all the time, paparazzi all in her face and up her dress, family break-up, no family support, “friends” selling her out, no real friends, no time to just pull back — sheesh!

You are a talented actress with your whole life ahead of you. My family has enjoyed many of your performances, and we think the best from you is yet to come. You have the spark and charisma to be one of the greats.
You have fans who want to see what you can and should accomplish. What is going on in your personal life is none of our business, and none of us are in any position to assess what has or has not occurred. That is a matter for you to work out without the obnoxious glare of the media. All we can say about what we have read and heard is that we do not want to see you do anything which will keep you from having the fabulous life and career which can and should be yours.
Please take the time and get whatever help or rest you may need, and then come back better and stronger than ever. Your fans will be patient, and will cheer when you are past your current trauma and back to doing what you do best.

On Reading my Above comment, on this Post, it seems to me I said some things, I shouldn’t have ( wrote,,,printed??? ) my mood was emotional, not rational, wasn’t thinking with all the facts, or as many as I should have waited to get. Lindsay If I said anything that hurt you in the above post, if you happened to read it. I am Truely sorry. This whole incident now smells more and more like an opportunity setup, stinks, something fishy here….read my comments on a later post on this site. Do you realize that the ENTIRE ” chase call” could have originated from the Parking Lot where the Police just ” Happened” to catch up to everyone?? It IS HollyWood after all, and who knows better how to ” Stage ” stuff, than the people in the film industry, and Lindsay, you gave them the opportunity they were looking for, when you got drunk again that night. KID, YOU GOT SOME SERIOUS ENEMIES in Hollywood !!!!!! You Have to WATCH YOUR BACK ALL THE TIME!!! GET RID OF THOSE SO CALLED FRIENDS, who are doing their best to hoodwink you so they can destroy you, this isn’t even about injury anymore, this is serious, they want to DESTROY you. while i agree that there is a concerted effort by her ‘friends’ and hollywierd associates to bring her down,there is obviously something really haywire in miss Lindsays pysche,as she continues her wild descent into the abyss.when i was drinking heavily and neck-deep in my personal ruin,i did not care about my job,non-party friends,financial situation,self-esteem and pride,etc,only that i wanted to party and get wasted and there were plenty of ‘friends’ willing to help me achieve that goal,and as long as my money lasted.as i look back on the insanity that my had become,all my bar buddies jumped off the drunken dave bandwagon when i had pretty much gone broke,then BAM-M-M,in a night of self-pitying alcoholic rage,i got cited for the DUI that brought me crashing back to reality,literally and figuratively.trust me,i know what is going through Lindsays mind as far as her addictions are concerned,i just wish i knew what the underlying problems are,so i could understand this young ladys mess.please get the help you need,miss Lindsay,and get away from the bad influence party scene-THOSE ‘PEOPLE’ ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS!!!.you cannot get a hold on the demons if you are still in the same enviroment,being constantly tempted by them.please get well and best of luck with your legal issues.peace

i have had a hard life as a dancer and have finally found peace,as i found my other half,aubrey.unfortunately,my reunion with my long-lost twin was too brief,as she passed away from her injuries,in my arms,as i too,faded into the great beyond,forever connected to my sister and our destiny.i leave this bit of advice for you,miss lohan,as you so aptly portrayed our story in the cinema,do not go gently into that night,scream against the dying of the light,take hold of your existence and give it your best shot,and with all your might…..love,aubrey and dakota

that mugshot is such a haunting picture,a saddening insight to the downward spiral of a hugely talented and beautiful soul.i am choked with emotion whenever i see this picture,and my own struggle with addiction reminds me of the cost of not dealing with your underlying problems,and ignoring them with the crutch of alcohol and drugs.i sincerely hope that,wherever she is,Lindsay is finally realizing the seriousness of addiction and its life-destroying potential,and getting the help she needs.please get well and face your demons in court. i also hope that your current film producers will extend the chance at redemption and turning your life around,by keeping you in their production.love always,a huge fan.peace

the mugshot… wow it’s touching… seems like shes’s looking at you, starrin at you, at me, it kinda scares me, i feel really sad for her really, and i just hope her the best in the world and that the gets her career back on track, which im sure she will.
i just wonder where is she now? is she in rehab? what city? well, time will tell……
hope the best to you dear lindsay, you shuold aprecciate what you are, an amazing person and actress, i look up to you despite your drama becuz i still remember the old days when you were so nice to everyone and u showed everybody what an amazing talent you had (and still have).
