Lindsay Lohan Admits to “Taking a Break” from Sam

Lindsay Lohan has opened up to E!, admitting that she and Samantha Ronson have broken up. Though Lindsay always said that if there were a break-up, we’d hear it from her first on her MySpace, E! may have the scoop here.
Lindsay is reported to have told E! that she and Samantha Ronson “are taking a brief break” so that Lindsay can focus on herself. Lindsay say the decision was made on Monday morning following a rough weekend, though it appears now that Samantha was not behind Lindsay being barred from Charlotte’s party. Reports indicate Sam & Lindsay spent time with each other that night and that Sam’s family & friends have been engaged in a “smear campaign” against her.
Charlotte Ronson and mom Ann Dexter-Jones were said to have gone to the police department on Monday seeking information about how to get a restraining order against Lindsay. No papers have been filed yet and it’s not clear if Samantha knew her family was there or not.
Lindsay Lohan & Samantha Ronson have been dating for more than a year. Despite all the rumors, I truly believe that Samantha was a good influence on Lindsay in a time of her life when she needed it. And in turn, I believe Lindsay supported Sam too, by going to her events, traveling with her, and, it now seems, making sure she stayed comfortable and healthy and happy.
Meanwhile, Michael Lohan is telling the media that he’s there for Lindsay and has “cleared his schedule” to go meet her in LA. I’m not sure if having her parents together will do Lindsay any good, but I do hope she has nothing but love and support around her if the break-up is indeed true.
In random gossip, Radar is reporting that Lindsay lost her sorrows in a bottle on Monday night. But there’s no evidence that any “source” was accurate on this one.

Stop the delusions. Lindsay is cool but clearly troubled and on drugs. Its not a hard thing to tell when someone is clearly on drugs.

i supported Rohan in their relationship but i feel relaxed now and idk why. Maybe now Lindsay will find her way and she will focus on herself. She was travelling too much, supporting Sam by going to her events and she had no time to relax. i hope she can cope with this and she’ll be OK soon. Lindsay, u know ur family and of course, ur fans will be always with u! Love u, beauty, and i will love and support u always!
Yes finally! I’ve never liked the idea of Lindsay and Sam being together!
But I also hope it won’t be too hard for Lindsay. I hope she can manage her life and be happy without Sam.
Samantha has no plan to request a restraining order on Lindsay. There is no basis for one. Samantha told perezrevenge that.
I hope they will go back together, they are so cute together!

I have compassion for Lindsay even though the relation was toxic (look at her body to see the proof)…
However: Like some fans i believe that this doesn’t need to be the end. For her career that is…
Look at actors like Drew Barrymore, Robert Downey Junior and Mickey Rourke. They overcame their difficulties too and are back in the entertainment business.
