Is Lindsay Planning to Cover a Britney Spears Song?

The latest Lindsay Lohan rumor going around is that she is planning on covering a Britney Spears song.
Some believe she is currently working on her third album and a source says, “Lindsay is on the Britney bandwagon. She is hoping to cover Womanizer or Oops! … I Did It Again.”
Also in a recent interview, Lindsay talks candidly about how she is growing up. She says that since her relationship with Samantha Ronson, she has calmed down quite a bit and isn’t the big party girl she used to be.
“I’ve gone through the phases that I have had to go through, now I am growing up.”
I think that’s great that she feels Samantha has grounded her a little. We all need someone like that in our lives!
In regards to Lindsay covering a Britney song, what are your thoughts on that?

i would like to hear Lindsay’s own songs, not covers.. but if Lindsay wants to do it, i will support her! i just hope that her album will be released this month.. Love u, Lindsay!

I hope that Lindsay covering a Brittney Spears song is a cruel joke. And just because I hate that kind of music (which means I don’t particularly like Lindsay’s music, I guess) but because, like I’ve been saying that she shouldn’t try to be like anyone else. She should be Lindsay.
a cover of britney is an amazing idea! i just hope she really changes it up, makes it her own and adds her own flavor to it.

Everyone is complaining that Lindsay covering Britney would like do a diservice to Britney. UMMM.. it’s Britney Spears, if I were Britney, I’d be honored that anyone would want to be covering my songs.
Well I agree with OPIE. I mean I have her two albums and they’re really good but I don’t think that the Britney cover it’s good idea. Lindsay has her own style. Anyway for me Lindsay always will be great actress and good musician so I’m waiting for her 3rd album but I’m more interesting about her new movie role. Just look at the Bobby, Georgia Rule, Mean Girls, Parent Trap or Prairie Home Companion. This movies are great and Lindsay really need back to acting. I truly believe that Warren Beatty movie role will be true. Lindsay is one of the most talented young actress and she need take her career back on track. Lindsay please take care of yourself. I’ll always support you.
