“I Know Who Killed Me” may do better
Interesting new. Apparently, all the interest in Lindsay Lohan may actually help the ticket sales for her newest movie, "I Know Who Killed Me." Although "Georgia Rule" neither saw benefit nor decline because of her first set of issues, here is is in the Sun Times (also some gossip about a Lindsay Lohan tv film)
You knew this was coming: A pitch is making the rounds in Tinseltown for a made-for-TV film about Lindsay Lohan. Yet, speaking of films, industry tracking of online pre-opening ticket sales indicates Lohan’s new film ”I Think I Know Who Killed Me” (opening Friday) — expected to bomb — actually may do relatively well, due to prurient interest in Lohan’s woes. According to FantasyMoguls.com, the film was originally expected to open with $2 million to $4 million in ticket sales. Following Lohan’s latest DUI arrest, they now are targeting an opening that could reach $7 million. … Not only did Lohan deny to ”Access Hollywood” anchor Billy Bush that she was guilty of this latest DUI, and that the cocaine found in her pocket belonged to someone else, she’s also claiming a lawsuit that was just filed by Raymundo Ortega regarding his October 2005 traffic accident with Lohan is ”nothing more than an attempt to extort money from a celebrity setting forth false and scurrilous allegations.” In his suit, Ortega claims Lohan was intoxicated — causing the accident.

11:30 est 27july2007….i just saw I Know Who Killed Me and i now have an intense hatred for movie critics, even worse now than when they bashed Georgia Rule. i thought that IKWKME was pretty good in its references to 80’s movies and its unique visual style.i loved Lindsays dual roles and her emotional scenes, but i think that the deleted scenes should have been left in the theatrical version.hopefullly there will be an unrated directors cut on dvd.if you are truly a Lindsay fan,you will want to see this movie,SCREW THE HATERS AND CRITICS!!!! just remember that this is a horror/thriller and that she is now an adult actress.i am not going to give anything away, plotwise,as i want all of you to see this movie.i loved Lindsay in these roles, especially as dakota, but i did have a couple of issues with certain parts of the story not really tied together.i am going to see it again to see if i missed anything.leave comments if you saw it;this will help to take our minds off her current mess for a bit.peace

12:45 am est,29 july 2007…i saw I Know Who Killed Me for the second time and it is a much better movie than is being reported.i must have missed a couple of things when i saw it the first time, since i clearly understood the scene transitions this time.you have to understand that this movie is a 80’s style B-movie,with references to certain stylistic approaches, and ingenious use of color schemes in the HD format.the problem is that a lot of people are seeing this movie through the trashloid media filter instead of seeing this neat little horror/thriller for what it is,a pretty good homage to B-movies of the past.while Lindsay is not well lit in a lot of scenes due to the dark nature of this material, there are moments where her luminous eyes, dark hair, and facial expressions are quite striking.it is my impression that since her off-screen issues have too much for the sony pictures studio, they have cut their losses by only showing it on 1320 screens, and ordered all of the many movie ‘critics’ on their payroll,to give this movie and her a bad rap as a means of payback, tough love, whatever you want to call it. most ‘critics’ are paid hacks of the studios, just like politicians are paid stooges of political action committees(PACs),duh!!! most movies that ‘critics’ hate are movies that i either love or find interesting in their quirkiness.the piece of garbage ‘critics’ hated Georgia Rule because it was a small-town movie,a red-state movie, family values stuff, you know, morality.hollywierd liberals hate that stuff.now the piece of trash ‘critics’ hate this movie because their money-masters tell them to.somebody should make a movie where the ‘critics’ get wasted like the stalkerazzis did in the movie,Papparazzi,LOL!!!!!!peace

according to the story above,I Know Who Killed Me was supposed to pull in 2-4 million on its opening weekend, even before all this current drama.well, that’s what it did, media haters,3.4 million on 1320 screens; i’d say that’s pretty good for a low-budget B-movie on a small number of screens. this movie was never projected to be a blockbuster, but another in a long string of arthouse horror/thrillers for the appreciative fans of this genre.i read on fangoria that this movies total budget, including promotion and marketing was less than 5 million.if it takes in between 10 and 15 million in its whole run,it will be considered an indie hit,as most indie hits make more on dvd as cult favorites.the media ‘critic’ haters are just that,HATERS,and paid stooges of the mainstream studios, who view independents as annoying pests who steal from their revenue streams.god,i DESPISE those fat, balding, little dweebs who call themselves ‘movie reviewers’ and try to dictate their tastes to me,the avid movie watcher.most of the movies that all the studio hack critics love,i f’n hate, and i either love the movies that they bash or i find them oddly interesting in their quirkiness.up yours, mal vincent and fellow stooges,i give I Know Who Killed Me,two big thumbs UP!!!!!!!! and i wll go see it a couple more times, and maybe once more after that just to spit in the face of the Lohan haters!! take that, haters.peace
